I saw this coming. They basically confirmed the game will be launching in a Cyberpunk state and will slowly be patching it in the coming months.

I fear NFTs are gong to be used as an industry politics cudgel in the upcoming years. Watch out for the grifters who are are against it, suddenly to launch their own. We've seen the same thing from MTXs and loot boxes.

As much as I don't like the guy, he has probably changed the industry (for the better) and left his mark more profoundly than Miyamoto, Kojima or anyone else I can think of.

I just can't get over the lazy, vomitty art style. It just looks so bad. I'm usually one to look past visuals, but with so many games out there, I have been thumbing my nose at more and more lazy development.

@Trmn8r The problem with The Medium is a lot of people got "tricked" into thinking it was an actual game, then got massively disappointed. I saw it for what it was, a Walking Simulator. If you play it, knowing that's all it is and what to expect, its actually a very enjoyable game.

Contrast finally being added, as it is a Compulsion Games title. I was wondering when they were going to dive into the back catalog with some of their newly acquired devs. I'd kill for a port of Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword.

@MetalGear_Yoshi Yeah, the checkpoints helped. I actually thought it was genuinely harder than the old Ninja Gaiden games on pure game design. But the limited lives and awful checkpoints on the NES is what just made a lot of these games unfair.

I could feel myself getting better and better as the game went on. A really good feeling.

Wow. The big first party publishers swinging their big arms around... suddenly don't look so big with all this talk of staying on other platforms because they are scare of anti-trust laws.

Bungie is so confused. They wanted to go independent because they were tired of working on Halo for a decade under the thumb of a publisher... so they proceed to work on a new ip for the next decade under one of the worst publishers. Now they are re-acquired by a publisher that arguably is even more stringent. LOL. Sweet child.

The writing is on the wall, literally in this case. Still, I have no idea what is going to happen. I've said it before, Microsoft is more unpredictable than Nintendo at this point. They only thing I have to do is wait and see. I feel like I can't accurately predict what games are or aren't going to go to PlayStation.

DON'T PLAY early access titles in Game Pass, people. Have some patience. Wait until 1.0 release. Otherwise, publishers and developers are gong to start using GP as a testing ground. Not even "complete" games are complete these days.

I don't think it looks cool at all. Screen isn't big enough. Can't get over the hurdle of having its own power source. Too expensive. ect.

Honestly, I'm just going to have to wait for Game Pass on Switch so I can play games portably.

Cyber shadow was amazing. I booted it up and finished it as soon as it appeared on the "leaving soon" list. I wonder what I'll be forced to play next.

And I will be playing none of them anywhere close to launch, if at all. Special shout out to Dying Light 2, which seems like it is a completely unfinished game with a slow drip of base game content shattered into a thousand DLCs, just like the first one.

Yeah, confused and hoping. I dont' know why this thing isn't being marketed. I can't imagine they would pull a Scarlett Nexus and hype the crap out of it in several E3 events just to casually release it. Hoping it is a Game Pass surprise. With the way GP has been going lately, i wouldn't be surprised.

Nobody Saves the World (Game Pass) and Final Fantasy II (PSP). Nobody is fantastic. It's interesting how they took a few, addictive niche mechanics in RPGs and made a game out of it, lol. Been pecking at FF all month. I'm at Leviathan. So, I think toward the end?

Looks great. But the visuals didn't need fixing. I hope the gameplay is improved.

@Dusk_Actual I played the second one before I was ready and it resulted in me taking a 8y hiatus from the game, lol. But I eventually went back and beat it recently. It was one of my favorite experiences of the year in 2021. I have to be careful not to just throw in the next From Software game in willy nilly.

Whatever fills Game Pass and saves me money, I'm gravy. I get it's a little more nuanced, but there is zero excuse not to buy a Series S, which is about the only console you can buy atm, just to use it as a Game Pass box.

Dark Souls as a franchise isn't anything special when it comes to the low completion ratio of the games. People these days are real babies about finishing their games.

As @Banjo- said, delay if the games need it. Despite Cyberpunk 2077, publishers haven't all caught on. That said, both games look fantastic. At least in concept. I haven't seen anything on either of them other than their reveal trailers.
