@Balaam_ I can't speak for others, but it was the Series S that got me into Xbox, not the X

@Lup I did some searching. Besides the Warriors crossovers and this one, I found one on the DS: Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. And this one has nothing to do with the others. No clue as to the naming convention because several others have different titles. Go figure lol

@Lup That Heroes in the titles is going to trip many of us. I'm curious as to why they did that

@Elbow Indeed. Sony has the movie rights, not the gaming ones. Even the Insomniac leaks back this up because Sony pays Disney an absurd amount of money for them to be exclusive.

If you remove the joycon, put both systems side by side, remember that the Switch 2 also has its own screen and carries a large battery, it's quite an impressive feat that there is even a comparison. Especially now that they basically cost the same.

I don't usually bother to 100% achievements and that's one of the reasons.
On PS3 and early PS4 games, the trophies were quite ridiculous at times, but they've become a much more interesting process. I've recently got my 100th platinum and hope one day I reach 200, even if it's just from different PS3/4/5 games and not from PS6 onwards

@Markatron84 I don't think sales are the only issue. These franchises need someone to champion them. Pikmin and Metroid rarely sell well, but both series are still alive

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really hope BC games get sales as well. Hopefully some rare ones as well (I'm looking at you FF XIII trilogy)

It's gotten worse, but it's still worth it. I'm tracking very close to 10k a month in earnings and have 57k saved up.
Unless something on my wishlist goes on sale and it usually doesn't, I'll keep saving for Black Friday and Christmas sales.
Otherwise, I have stuff like the DLCs for Force Unleashed that I want to get and I've never seen them on sale

@Banjo- Yeah, we're in deep ***** in this one as well. I finally managed to stop paying developing country prices for hardware and this happens. At least I got a Switch 2 and a PS5 before the storm.
I'll be quite interested to see how both Sony and MS will promote their new hardware. I'll likely get a PS6 eventually, but the next Xbox has got to do a lot for me.
I got my Series S as a Game Pass machine + to catch up on previous gens exclusives. Now I'm down to the latter only (besides 3 free months of GPU I'm getting soon) and that's fine by me to keep the SS, but not nearly enough to spend almost 1000 euros on new hardware.

I never managed to get into the Persona series. The closest thing I enjoyed was Tokyo Mirage Sessions. But as far as reveal trailers go, I found P6 quite meh. I'm glad for fans who now know it's coming, but that trailer did nothing for me

I really hope that's the case. I'll be able to get 3 free months of GPU starting in August and this way I can play Halo Infinite, Halo Campaign Evolved, Gears E-Day and FH6.

I wish we could vote for titles who are no longer available digitally since the Series S is kind of a thing. I would love to have access to Prince of Persia (2008) and SC Pandora Tomorrow, but since they are technically BC compatible, they're not eligible for voting

I just wish they'd stop randomly not accepting the daily tasks for the puzzle pieces. I've lost 4 pieces close to completition because of this in the past two months. It's really annoying

The Series S was my first ever Xbox (even though I follow the games and hardware closely since the OG), but it started as a GamePass machine and now it's a retro machine mostly and I use my points to get $ for games on sale.
So far I haven't seen a single reason to move on to the next hardware. But I'll never fully close that door since I deem that to be unfair.

If they cost that much, they better offer content and features to make it a more reasonable price.
If the PS6 costs $1000, it better be powerful enough to play PS3 games.

@themightyant No doubt there's tons to complain. But at the same time, we got two PoP games that are really fun. Star Wars Outlaws runs amazing on Switch 2 and is really fun. We got free DLC for Valhalla and Mirage. Immortals Fenyx Rising is a hidden gem. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is awesome. Valiant Hearts is pure emotion (both of them) and I really want to play their Avatar game. That's a lot of fun from just one company. So that outweighs the bad for me.

@Decoy_Snake Ever since they made GPU $20 I transformed my Series S into a retro machine, basically. I can still play a ton of fun games and I can get them for amazing prices on sales. IT's my first Xbox, so I have 3 older gen to catch up on. Right now I have about 20 euro in points. There are still plenty of retro games I want to buy and some have preference (such as the Splinter Cell series and some other 360 games). But if I end up with enough points, that would tip the scale to getting it on SS

@fatpunkslim I can agree that Team Xbox has made bad business decisions, but not optimize for the hardware that has more than double the install base? That's speculative and, quite frankly, ludicrous to even consider.
Anyway, on that and the PS6 regards, we'll have to wait and see.

@fatpunkslim As I have a PS5, a Switch 2 and a Series S (and don't like throwing money away), subscribing to Game Pass is out of the cards for me. I also work two jobs on PC, so gaming on PC is something I certainly don't do.
Also, you think PS will drop one of their biggest competitive advantages over Xbox and not have the PS6 play PS4 and PS5 games? Good joke, mate

@Decoy_Snake The only reason I'm not putting 100% on the PS5 version is the possibility of me getting it on Xbox with points. Otherwise, PS5 for sure

@themightyant I mostly agree, buuuuut... There's a ton of people who simply want to complain.
I remember A LOT of complaining around Brotherhood and Revelations for being 2.1 and 2.2. Then people complained about 3. IV was beloved, but still people complained it wasn't an AC game. Then Unity and Syndicate got a bunch of complains for being the same game. Then they changed the formula for Origins. And since then you see A LOT of people complaining that the old formula was good and the new one is bad.
Bonus points for people who still complain about AC Unity being a broken buggy mess one decade after it was fixed.
So while there is reason to complain about Ubi, as there is for any company, people do get out of their way to do so

I'm interested in the game and I have a Series S and a PS5. If I were to buy it, 90% of chance of being a PS purchase.

I'm not overly fond of these price increases TBH. And the fact that next gen might be even more expensive is not great for the industry.
The truth of the matter is that you can't expect people who are used to paying developed country prices to suddenly pay for developing country prices. It will not go down well

I wish both MS and Sony would take a page out of Nintendo's playbook. Nintendo knows they can't make all the games they want by themselves and so partners with other companies such as Bamco for Smash and so on. Heck, Capcom made 3 Zelda games. I wish we could have, let's say get a new Jak and Daxter and maybe get a remake of Banjo Kazooie developed by a partner studio. But alas, that's but a dream

Since eariler this year I stopped using my points for GamePass. I've been using them to get as many OG Xbox and 360 games on sale as I can since I fear they'll be delisted.

Fingers crossed Reach and ODST get the same level of care and respect

@themightyant I actually do that quite a lot. I rarely check game reviews and I never check movie reviews. Also, if I know know I wanna play or watch something, I even stop checking trailers and any extra material. I find things much more enjoyable after I started doing this

This current gen was weird because we seem to be getting games that would run on past hardware (and many do), but in 40k60.
I hope that the next jump in hardware will be more impressive because we'll remain with 4k resolution and I believe 60fps will be more than acceptable to 99+% of consumers.
