Back at the end of June, we highlighted the upcoming Xbox Summer Sale 2026 and predicted that it would either start on July 16th or July 23rd, and it looks like we were mostly on the money - but perhaps off by a single day.
An Xbox fan known as "Bloomy" has taken to the CheapAssGamer and TrueAchievements forums to suggest that the Xbox Summer Sale 2026 (also known as the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2026) will begin at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm BST on Wednesday July 15th, and their track record suggests it's probably quite likely.
They've also shared what they're calling an "initial list" of games and DLC they expect to feature in the Xbox Summer Sale 2026, although over 900 of the items aren't "currently available for purchase" individually on the Xbox Store.
With that in mind, we thought we'd pick out just some of the biggest games that will apparently be included:

It's yet to be revealed how any of these games will be priced in the sale, and we also don't know whether there will be a "teaser" event like in recent years - where a selection of discounts will go live early for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
