@RBRTMNZ Everyone has opinions but when someone's opinion contradicts each other then it's difficult to take seriously. He gave Fallout 4 a 9 when ot came out which is a lesser game in every aspect other than free flowing exploration than Starfield. Starfield has much better storyline better combat better faction questline better companion questline better dialogues and it's actually a RPG than Fallout 4. So how does that make a better game than Fallout 4 a 7. If he was a diehard BGS fan he should have known what kind of game he was going into. I was preparing myself for Starfield by binge watching The Expanse great show if not the greatest Sci fi show and replaying Fallout 4 as from the Direct it was obvious to me this two ip has direct influence on the game. But nevertheless it's just a review after all which is fine by me. Again I've found some hidden gems which most big name reviewers trashed for some minor nuances I'd say. I feel like this is same as Days gone which is a damn fine game. Sorry if I spoke some nonsense.

I never took IGN review seriously apart from the guy who reviews Racing games. He's an amazing reviewer who also knows quite a bit about car. If he does it I'll know how the final game came together. Although I'm not a big racing fan but would love to see Turn 10's years of effort come alive in a meaningful way. It'll also bode well for the sim racing genre in the pc as well as xbox ecosystem. From what I've seen so far the game looks good and hopefully feels good.

@Fiendish-Beaver BG3 is a great game in it's own merit not to mention the game launched only on one platform with great reviews. People were gonna jump on that anyway even those who don't know how to play RPG games would have given it a chance. Also the game is bit cheaper than Starfield. Although it launched on PS5 and later going to come to Xbox people don't want to wait for a great game like this. Not to mention Starfield is also on game pass and yet the game had a roughly 1M sales on steam alone most being 100$ Edition is an achievement on it's own. I'm surprised the game even sold this much considering how the internet was throwing every bit of mud to drag the game down. The game has some problems but in the end which games don't have. But Starfield really is a once in a lifetime game for me. I've roughly put 90 hours so far and loved every second of it.

I wish I'd more time to play other games but I'm consumed by Starfield even BG3 is on hiatus for few weeks at least. Hopefully Larian can do something with Act 3 in the meantime as it's holding back the game for me.

There's no point of introducing ground vehicle if there is barrier in each zone. It'd render boost pack useless. Which is a fun part for me in traversal. As someone who's spent literal days walking in Skyrim and Fallout 3 and 4 I love the idea of just gliding on terrain. It's like jetpack on steroid.

@Kaloudz Sadly it won't be game GOTY contender as some big names in the gaming media doesn't like Starfield and eventually they'll vote so no but it'll be there for just a show look we're nominating it. On the other hand if you look at the general consensus people can't stop playing it. To me that's much bigger achievement than any awards.

From what I've seen on Series consoles its a really optimized game which was an achievement on its own. The game is amazing. Currently 30 hours on my laptop and I think it's gonna die on me. Damn it Todd. I'll need to buy a Series X to continue my experience this piece of art.

Many people won't be able to get in first try don't get disheartened it happened during early access also. Just have patience and I do hope people do some main quest first to get the hang of the game to how the new mechanics works. Trust me the more you go in the more you'll love. The game rewards you amply unlike any BGS game I've previously played. Above and beyond space cowboys.

I used to be a hoarder like him but I broke my back in F4. Now I simply take What's essential. It's impressive what this engine can do. The only one that I've come across let's us interact such way that the world feels alive and we're part of it. That's the BGS charm.

@BBB You got me wrong Dungeons and Legends are not done by Mojang rather outsourced. They do update nothing but Minecraft and all it's ports. But sadly the studio has become too complacent. Even Xbox knows it. But they know people are gonna play Minecraft even if they don't add any mob or biome in a year or so. That doesn't mean there isn't a growing unrest in the community. Many people are getting tired of it just like Bungie and their malpractices with D2. It's a sad story of this industry.

Of all the Xbox studios I think Mojang is the least creative and probably the laziest and Xbox doesn't say anything because they print money with least amount of effort. An upgrade should have been made possible years ago as they haven't made anything in recent years. I think it's time Xbox put some pressure on them just like they did with 343.

@InterceptorAlpha are you sure we both played the same game. The game is insanely demanding on cpus and gpus. Most older pcs can hardly play it like my 3050 even in everything low at 1080p fsr2 at 67% scaling. The best way to play right now is either the Series consoles or really beefy pc. But I do hope we'd see 60 fps on the X later down the road also hope the PC performance can be a bit better.

What's a Bethesda game if it's not a tad bit divisive. Each to their own. Don't forget to take a breather. I think it's best to approach it at a slower pace. That's how I have come to love these BGS games. Happy hunting space cowboys. And couple of hours in on my fuming PC I can say it's going to destroy my social life if I had any.

It's an impressive number considering it's still not a full release. I'm glad Bethesda and Xbox was able to pull off this immensely satisfying experience overcoming so much negativity and skepticism. They deserve all the praise they can get.

It's a relatively new studio with many new techs they wanted to try their hands on. Inexperience with the tech may have led to such disappointing results. But hope they figure out fast.

I like gaming community it's a brilliant one. Where every single thing said is taken out of context to sate one's lust for complaining about every God damn thing.

Pete should've said they were allocating all resources in the upcoming ES6 to title screen. Jokes aside I don't think that guy has a good enough reputation in the gaming industry. Most of his ex colleagues hate him. Man is a sore loser at this point.

I think Delta Force Black Hawk Down was one of the first game I ever played so it was amazing to me. But the new entry is miles off what Delta Force was about. Bit disappointed after hearing the series is returning.

Although I've not played the game nor have I had any spoilers but one thing that has me intrigued since last showcase is the final scene. The game will revolve around the artifact and we'll get the power of the artifact at the end which we can use to kill everyone in sight not gravity power like most have been saying. But I could be wrong. Just less than 3 weeks more. Can't wait to get my hands on it

People complain about not going gold then complain about going gold. Gaming community is peak circus.

@Fenbops Yes the game has so many inconsistencies and issues but I love the commonwealth. I think Preston is calling me another settlement needs my help.

Next gen port can wait currently finishing my 10th survival run in Fallout 4. Next is Starfield and I don't think I'll have time to play Fallout 4 anytime soon when Starfield drops.

I'm not bothered about the reveal as I've no idea how this game is gonna be. But I've some lingering concerns. Obsidian isn't really good in gameplay department as far as I'm concerned. They do deliver on the narrative side but gameplay is the department they lack. I hope they improve and truly deliver on a top notch AAA

The direction Ubisoft is going I don't like it at all. They're slowly digging their own grave. Putting all their eggs in mainly AC basket isn't wise also of all the ips they have currently going on FC is the only fun franchise even though it's a shell of what it used to be. I hope they realize that not everyone wants AC dropped every single year. This title was a breath of fresh air albeit a clone. I loved the humor and the world. Hope Outlaw can become a good game for me to finish a Ubisoft game since FC5.

I'm a huge The Expanse fan. Still sore about the abrupt ending. Glad the telltale series is on right track. And Starfield to me is the video game equivalent of the Expanse. Can't wait for both.

@BeerIsAwesome how can he keep the server online if no one plays the game. Someone has to pay for the server cost.Offline games doesn't have those problems though

I've never heard of this game and judging by the current build I'm not sure what cutting edge graphics they were using that needs a gen3 ssd let alone gen4. Even Ratchet and Clank that was impossible without PS5 ssd now using direct storage 1.2 to do the same thing on much slower ssds. I love how naive people are they believe any gimmick thrown their way.

There was a time I was a Ubisoft fan. They used to make amazing games. But somewhere down the line they fall off the track. If someone even buys Ubisoft I hope it's not Microsoft.

It's a blessing in disguise. This gestures are some of the reason I fell in love with team green not to mention their day one release on PC. As a PC gamer BC doesn't mean anything to me but it's awesome for those who have. I'll root for them as long as they make these pro consumer moves.

So what's the confusion the base console game pass never included online play unless the game allowed it. You needed ultimate or xbox live sub. I don't get how people outrage over nothing. Live gold just basically became gp core but without the free games. Instead includes 25 games. Or did I get it wrong.

@BeerIsAwesome you're telling me that one plus makes a better phone now than Samsung are you living under a rock or what. One plus used to make amazing phone now they're among the least trusted brand. Most of their phone after 7t I guess has screen problem as all 7 of my friends who use those phones have green line all over the panel. And their os has lost it's charm. I was going to buy a one plus 9 until the shop owner even urged to not do it. Instead I got a S22 and I'm happy with it. One point that you did make about battery life it's a problem for my phone. I knew about it and apart from that no issues whatsoever.

As a law grad I find it hilarious that a government institution can waste so much time and money without achieving anything significant and has the audacity to appeal when there wasn't a factual error in the verdict. FTC is an embarrassment at this point and really should be investigated for their abuse of power.

I'm really interested to see how they move from isometric rpgs to first person rpg. Wasteland 3 is one of the best rpgs in my opinion so I'm really looking forward to this.

I don't think there's a person that doesn't own a copy of GTA 5.

I've nothing but huge respect for 11 Bit Studio. Everything they make is a gem. And Frostpunk 2 is currently one of the most anticipated game. I think this deal can prove huge for them.

I'm glad people are really enjoying 720p 25fps performance mode on FFXVI. Truly that is a generational game. All jokes aside I game of this scale will be cpu bound when you push it at 60 so I'd rather have a solid 30 with a good motion blur than something like FFXVI

I remember Phil saying they're not going to raise prices in the last holiday season but he hinted at a price increase will come at some point as they can only take losses for certain periods and people now forgot that. Price increase is bad no doubt in this time but Why should Microsoft take losses when competition has been profiteering for almost a year now. And as for gamepass prices if you don't see any games worth your time simply cancel your subscription. You can always come back if something catches your eye. And those of you who are stating concern about this either you already have a Xbox or you don't care about to buy it anyway. Why this hardware price increase should concern you anyway. At this point Microsoft should brand themselves as charity to feed us cheapskates.

I was really hoping we'd see what Undead Labs is doing with the SoD3. This franchise has so much potential. I was a bit disappointed not seeing it in the showcase but we can't have everything in one showcase. I hope they're doing an amazing job with the sequel and blows this overused zombie genre to new height.

It blows my mind that people thinking Microsoft might close Arkane Austin. It's getting out of hand lately.

I wouldn't trust Masterchief with anyone other than 343i. I may be wrong but 343i has created most probably the best gunplay in the industry. And they were on track to bring a grounded story on Master Chief. But got sidetracked along the way with terrible management. And you can't just ask other studios to make a game who have no idea about the lore or anything about the game. 343i may get a lot of heat for their missteps but Halo Is in their DNA. CoD and Halo both maybe fps but they are nothing like each other. I hope we don't hear this type of discussion anymore.

As a fan of Wasteland 3 I'm really looking forward to this. Wasteland 3 was the best rpg I've played in recent years and the trailer of clockwork revolution has me intrigued. Just waiting to see how they branch out from isometric rpg to fps rpg. I wish them all the best.

Gunplay looks amazing as it stands so there was no point in adding iD expertise there. 30 fps with good motion blur can alleviate some people's motion sickness.

I hope before closing they think about selling some studios. I'd hate to see 4A Games or Warhorse Studio shut down.

Look doesn't do anything for me in this game. Fable is dark twisted and full of British humor. If they managed to capture the essence then we're really in for a treat
