Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Fallout TV Show's First Season?

Tonmoy

To me it's a 9 out of 10 nothings perfect but the show was really amazing. As a huge fallout fan I was smiling like a kid through the entire show. They nailed the aesthetics and world building of the games. And more importantly dialogues were well written and carried out superbly by the amazing cast. They really did an amazing job.

Re: Poll: How Would You Grade March's Xbox Partner Preview Showcase?

I didn't expect anything and yet I was quite surprised. Some game really seemed interesting to me. I'm glad there are developers who are willing to take risks. The Alters is something like a mix of Fallout shelter and Frostpunk and with a branching narrative which to me is hugely ambitious. Unknown 9 also interesting to me. And Frostpunk 2 is one of the most awaited game this year for me. And by the looks of it Frostpunk 2 is going to be 10 times more complex than the first one and that was already really challenging. A solid A showcase for me. As the name said it's a partner preview and it delivered in my opinion. But looking at some comments here as usual some folks have unrealistic expectations. Those guys must be really fun at parties.

Machine games never ceases to amaze me. Indy looks really amazing and to me captures the essence of the original trilogy. Also Avowed and Hellblade 2 are shaping up to be brilliant. I'm a bit skeptical about Ara but as a Civ and 4x fan it seems a bit new and hopefully a wonderful experience.

Re: Xbox's Phil Spencer Knows How Much We Want A New Banjo-Kazooie Game

Capturing the magic of Banjo in present day is almost impossible and on top of that without a passionate team behind it it's a disaster. I totally agree with this approach. Even though some folks think Toys for Bob would be a good fit but I disagree as a team has to be passionate about making such classic to appeal to present day audiences. But it's just me

@InterceptorAlpha Really interesting as S wasn't supposed to be the next big thing rather it's a really good entry point for lots of new gamers who couldn't afford a gaming device. And I congratulate Microsoft for making this bold decision. Some may not like it but S was the culmination of making games accessible to more players and I'm all here for it. It's an amazing console for it's value.

I was awestruck by this game. I really loved those first generation cartoons very much and when I opened the game I felt like I went back in time in those 30s and 40s era. I felt like a child once again. But boy was the game hard at first. It's a piece of art not just game. The amount of love and work behind the project is just unbelievable. I'm glad I was able to experience this gem in my lifetime. Kudos to everyone at Studio MDHR.

I wouldn't blame Microsoft for underestimating Larian as they're crpg devs. It isn't a household name like FF or GTA or Elder Scrolls. But what they had done with DOS series was really impressive. And eventually their quality got recognized with BG3. And to be honest even Larian devs must've been a bit surprised by how amazingly the game sold. What's interesting to me is how well does this play and feel on console as this types of game is amazing with mouse and keyboard.

Re: Pick One: Which Is The Best Bethesda Game Studios RPG?

Tonmoy

I haven't played oblivion still waiting for a remake but Starfield felt the most complete rpg BGS has put out in a decade. Before that only Far Harbor DLC was the best RPG experience for me although being an expansion. And quite frankly Starfield is thus far the best BGS game for me as a whole and one of the best games I've ever played.

Re: Starfield Could Have Had Fallout's Version Of Earth

Another thing was transistor wasn't invented in Fallout universe until just before the war. As a result the present day microprocessors that we use most likely was lost with the great war or never developed. So Starfield would've been completely new style of game. And it was batter choice to steer clear from that lore and create another lore.

And there's a influx of new NMS videos popping left and right all of a sudden. I'm tired of clicking not interested at this point. I know it's a great game as I used to build a base on beautiful looking planets and to visit them every once in a while. It was for relaxation for me. I bet the game is much more fun with friends as alone otherwise found it really boring.
