@DennisReynolds True. I feel like both companies are out of touch with the core audiences they have. And Nintendos over there on cruise control until its next console 😂 just my opinions tho.
That being said we still had some great games so far this gen like the ones you mentioned.

It’s disappointing. This Xbox generation so far for me personally has been a big disappointment. It started with Halo stumbling out of the gate. I couldn’t believe what was suppose to be a flagship AAA franchise was so mishandled. The writing was on the wall. They don’t know how to manage this division of Microsoft anymore. More studios will shut down and more will unfortunately lose jobs because Microsoft just sees sales figures from studios and not human beings.
The days of the 360 are over. No studio will want to take a chance in making creative new games for Xbox cause they’ll get the boot. Unless it’s rare for some reason. They can make a game for years without knowing what it is yet and get Microsoft’s full support.

@helbertpina same. I knew it would be a stretch but I have way too many hours on the switch version to justify grinding for that gear again. The performance upgrade makes it tempting but without the sun break dlc it’s hard to start over. Might check it out on gamepass at some point.

@Cyberpsycho once you’re able to go on high ranked hunts you should have a pretty decent build to take them on by yourself. I use the light bow gun to take high rank down just because it offers you space when they start swinging around. A good weapon, instincts, and a decent inventory will take you the distance.

@Cyberpsycho You can play it all solo. There is a character in game that you can access the online features. One of the features allows other players to join your hunts. It’s pretty useful when tackling higher rank monsters.

@Sakai it’s funny because my original joycons have not shown any sign of drift but my pro controller started to drift after a few months. Weird how it’s different for so many 😂

They must’ve given up putting the “pass tense” skin on everything in infinite.

Unfortunately it’s not 2008 and halo isn’t the biggest thing anymore. It was the multiplayer to play at the time but with the rise of so many multiplayers, a lot of younger gamers move on quick. My friends kid who plays games makes fun of halo for no reason. Just to say it’s for old guys. It was disappointing to hear but that’s new gamers in a nutshell. A lot of us halo fans will stick around and enjoy it but the gaming landscape has changed dramatically. So many people won’t.

Congrats 343! They made such a fun game I’ll be remembering for a very long time. Sounds silly but Master Chief has been a positive influence in my life when I was down and out or felt meaningless. The man doesn’t give up and runs to the fight. (Even though he’s not real😂)

I’ve been using the pass tense skin on my Rifle up until I got the sweet gold one from rockstar. Just buy two collector cans and you got it! I managed to pull up the tab enough to get the code and not open it 😂

The game is awesome! Unfortunately me and my friend bought it on separate consoles without realizing we couldn’t party up together 😞 hopefully they’ll implement that feature soon.

I enjoyed H5 multiplayer quite a bit and I haven’t played halo since 3. So all of this just looks amazing for me! I’m also really excited for the campaign. Didn’t finish 4 or 5 but looks like I didn’t miss much lol

I love Xbox but I always thought the names were bad.

The wii came out when I was about 13. I remember being super excited with it for the first year but the gimmick ran dry really quick for me. I was also getting into more mature games that the wii didn’t have. So playing world at war having to hold my controller like a gun for hours wasn’t too enjoyable. It sold me instantly but the star power didn’t last long for me. Looking back at it, the console was a revolution for the time. And a great emulator now 😄

Great game! I like the improved load time most of all 😂 Had this on the first Xbox and my sister would beat me every single race.

Pod racing still has incredible potential as a modern racer. Even if it was a remake of episode one racer, that’d be amazing!

It’s not like a Sony/Spider-Man scenario. With Disney owning Lucasfilm, it would be a timed exclusive at most but most likely will release on other consoles on launch day. Like someone also mentioned, the acquisition isn’t finalized yet and that should mean this was in the works before we got that news. Xbox doesn’t press for exclusives and honestly they don’t need to. Like they said, they want the games to run better on Xbox not just on Xbox.

It’s BF3 for sure. They are sitting on a gold mine with the series if handled properly. I thought it was odd to stop the updates in two unless they we’re starting something new. I was hoping for them to bring back Death Star run. Best mode of the first game.

@Grot agreed! It still blows a lot of new games out of the water. They can release a remastered version and it would be a fresh game for a lot of people.

Can’t find one so decided to wait until infinite came out to get one. Even if they don’t have a halo edition one I’ll be okay. I got to the point where I stopped begging to buy a $500 console from Microsoft and Sony and just accepted waiting on both. Besides my one s is still running great and game pass works just as good. I do crave MCC on XSX though 😔

@LX_FENIX I guess they really want people to move to MCC that haven’t yet. I thought it was strange as well to delist them. Some people want the original experience in the campaigns and you can still use LAN to play multiplayer.

@Bloodborne75 same here. Game of the year in my book too. I understand others having issues but things tend to snowball online quickly. If I haven’t seen all the complaints online I wouldn’t have been looking for bugs or performance issues at all. It has performed well on my last gen hardware and I can’t wait to see it on next gen when I can acquire a console

Playing on one s. And ps4 with a buddy. Only one glitch for me at the beginning where an npcs thighs were gone but still had the lower legs. Thought it was some weird cyber tech but nope just a glitch. Almost done with the game and other than the visuals looking a bit off I experienced zero crashes or game resetting bugs. Guess I got lucky but I experienced more problems with Red Dead Redemption 2 when I played that.

@Friendly could be a design problem. Samus in her suit couldn’t hold gun or do certain animations with a blaster for an arm. And I’m sure they can’t just have zero suit without the iconic suit as well. Or Nintendo is just sensitive about one of their characters using Assault rifles and such. Hope I’m wrong though! Would love her in it.

@Tharsman yeah it’s a dirty tactic for sure. They should have more options for single purchases. But I guess that how they make the big bucks.

@Tharsman you would just buy him directly. Skin itself is 1500 vbuck. They sell v bucks starting at 1000 for 7.99. Then they have a bundle for 2600 v bucks with the extra stuff.

Cool, now take them out of halo 5 since people will be playing that for another year.
