@john117 It’s 60htz only. Doesn’t do 120. It’s also the cable that comes with series x and ps5 is fine with it. Monitor is acer H277HK. Have started a forum post to see if others have the same issue or if it’s a broken product. Hope not. Had 360 for 2 months then RROD and haven’t come back to MS until now. Not sure where to ask this question but I'm having issues getting my Series X to recognise my monitor as 4K. Its all fine for my PS5 and PC that correctly displays the resolution automatically as well as the HDR. The Series X says my monitor isn't 4K? Only gives me 1440p? Is this a known issue and will it be fixed? It makes buying a 4k console that won't work on a 4k monitor a bit frustrating to say the least. Is there a section on the site that is open for these kind of issues (and potentially workarounds)?
@everynowandben Yes will definitely give another go. Felt the exact same with Bloodborne until I got to grips with it and now love it. And that seemed extremely harsh at first until understanding the levelling up / progression system. Your defending will not go to waste sire! This is why I come to sites like these as it helps to get other opinions sometimes.
@Danmick99, @Fenbops ok I'll give it another go before moving on. Last time I was forced to stick with a game like this it went from my most frustrated game to being one of my favourite games ever - so there's definitely mileage in sticking with a highly recommended game!
@Medic_Alert that all means nothing to me so sounds like I need to get stuck into it again. Problem is I've eyed up Witcher 3 next on GPU so torn between which to go with. Great problems to have to be fair!
Good news however I'm struggling to get into this game. I have no idea what the umpf is going on and so far it feel very repetitive and unforgiving. Has been added to my backlog. Feels like the story of this generation so far. Having game pass as well means that unless a game keeps my attention right from the start it is very easily dropped to the backlog to unlikely ever see the ssd again. I guess GPU is now the Spotify of the gaming world...

@xMightyMatt14x sorry just saw your response. So there is a setting then. I'll google it and try and figure it out. I honestly thought @carlos82 was winding me up. I wore headphones to not wake the kids up and so they didn't hear the gruesome noises but failed miserably!
@carlos82 are you serious? seriously? I've never known something to have headphones plugged in but still come out the original sound source before (unless you count my old SPV phone which started doing that after a few months among many other crazy things!)? I'm seriously considering returning the controller but will be annoyed at having to wait for a replacement. If you are serious is there a setting I should use to say that when I plug headphones in its to hear through the headphones and not the tv?

@PhhhCough I suppose it depends on the game. I wouldn't call Soulsborne games trial and error - more just difficult games. I've never played LN but I'm guessing this is more like Limbo though. Were you just have to die for no obvious reason over and over without gaining any form of grind or levelling up to make it a little easier the next time as with my experience on soulsborne games. Can see why that could be frustrating. To be fair it turns me off this style of game and will give it a go on Game Pass but wouldn't spend cash on it.
@NEStalgia I was referring to the controller. It just feels 'clicky' and 'plastic' in comparison but doesn't seem bad. I agree with the box itself. Do prefer the feel of the actual machine. Feels much sturdier. As I mentioned I'm not doing too well with the interface and much prefer the PS one so far. Took 5 minutes to figure out where all my downloaded games were - but its fine now. Will just take a while to get into the 'groove'. Am loving game pass so far (why I bought it in the first place). Basically my opinion is there are definitely things I prefer about the PS5 and things I prefer about the Series X which is exactly how I wanted it to be.
Just got my series x recently with game pass. First Xbox since 2006. First opinion is it seems quite cheap compared to PS5 comparing controllers and the dashboard just feels like a complete mess. Can’t find anything between all the big squares, but I do enjoy learning new UI so will surely figure it out soon enough. Just not very intuitive IMO. I prefer the box itself though. And the packaging it came in was much nicer. Also seems a lot quieter so far which is great. Personally I think they’re both awesome machines and happy with purchase. Slightly disappointed with game pass only because it’s been so hyped up on all these forums but still not a criticism - just not as many games I’m interested in as I’d hoped - but love the fact Medium was on there. Personally the only impressive thing about game pass atm. A new next gen AAA game while the rest are all old stuff (bring in Bethesda releases!). Still good value. Just good to see both machines doing well. Optimistic this will be an amazing gen of gaming.
It’s a weird one this. Performance in photo mode was definitely better on series X but digital foundry also found that playing on series X had frame pacing issues that causes regular stuttering during play. Oddly same on Series S supposedly. I now have on both machines and playing on PS5 as juddering is a big no no for me. But if they could fix this and unlock frame rate with RT on then great. Strange I’ve not seen that info on Pure Xbox. It’s like they’ve only picked out the good things about Control and not the full picture? “Better than PS5 for photos and theoretical play through, worse for actual play through”. It does show what could be achieved though, probably for first party going forwards. There is potential there but no one seems to be getting it yet?
Can anyone think of an example where MS have bought out a studio and they've produced improved games since the take over. Probably some out there but I'm not too knowledgeable really. Know they bought the studios that made Halo and Forza (I think) so are probably success stories. Rare is a fail in my eyes as is Lionhead and Digital Anvil I suppose. Then there's the studio that was bought to make Kinnect games (fail). Mojang is debatable as they haven't really improved/destroyed that studio.
Very hit and miss - so not sure if I would or wouldn't want Gearbox under MS power. Currently happy with what they produce and happy to be left alone really.
@LtSarge Sorry, I was in a bad mood. I take it back. I'm not perfect
Edit: Sorry I couldn't resist. In such a happy mood today as managed to beat the scalpers and finally get my order for a Series X through. It's been almost 15 years but I'm finally back to the MS ecosystem.
@FraserG Okay - didn't know that. Always assumed they all worked. I have a SNES mini and it was awesome for a brief moment but then I realised that most of the games hadn't aged very well at all. I remembered F-Zero as one of my favourite games, but it made me feel sick trying to play it. Its an epileptics worst nightmare!
I just don't know why? Don't all Xbox 1 games work on Xbox Series now anyway? Or at the least on Xbox One? Unless I'm mistaken why buy a machine to do a proportion of what everyone's current machine can already do? Confused on this one
Reckon they'll buy CDPR to take on the 2 most bug infested studios within 1 year period. Imagine step 1: Clean up spaghetti code, step 2: be able to release first game in 2036 with acceptable bug rate. On serious note, if MS manage to release Fallout and/or Elder Scrolls games without the Cyberpunk/Skyrim level bugs Bethesda usually release as they'll be seen as heroes! At that point they'll be encouraged to buy CDPR to help them out
I do get the feeling this is bad news for the industry as a whole. Going this direction and having, progressively, all the studios signed up to Nintendo, Sony and MS will likely reduce the overall diversity and likely quality. In the sense most people here hate Sony and would suggest they would turn all Bethesda games into a 3rd person action story driven game (and just to balance the argument), its probable anything creative coming from those individual studios is more likely to be shot down by the single direction the company takes. Would be good if MS pick up failing studios that would other wise go out of business but I don't think that will be the case. More likely they will buy an established studio with the aim to make it PC/Xbox exclusive and force future projects to fit their game pass model - whether that be games as a service or limiting project budget to fit their subscription model. And to be clear - this isn't an anti MS opinion. The same would apply to any of the big 3, and may in turn at least force Sony into snapping up other companies to protect themselves from MS acquiring every other studio out there.
@davidko 60% - where do you live?!? Norway? If so tough sh** - I'd pay 60% tax to live there But it is an interesting point. A lot of industries gain tax benefits just to keep the work in the country - difficult balance I guess.
Would you play the game on Game Pass so you aren't contributing to their income but at least getting something you've technically paid for?
@Fenbops To range from 5/5 , 9/10 to 3/10 is very odd. Even if someone doesn't enjoy the game you can rate it based on its technical merit alone. 3/10 generally means a broken mess to me!
@dmcc0 Yep - almost got one as well. Sold out during my payment trying to go through. Series S took most of the day to sell out so if people want that they are likely to get one relatively easily, but the X went in minutes.
@davidko going to play devils advocate and ask - aren't most game companies like that? They get tax breaks - more in different countries. Isn't that also like saying you won't watch a bbc programme as thats pretty much the same thing - a tax to pay for programmes? Just wonder where your line is drawn for these things - and not criticising your decision to do this btw?
Regarding the game - this is disappointing. Was hoping this would be the game to get a series X for but alas its probably not. Probably for the best. Had a Seriex X in my Currys basket this morning, entered card details and payment failed as they all sold out in the 1 minute they became available. Would have been extra hard to take if this had 10/10 Must Buy reviews...
I'd personally prefer them to get rid of this functionality and use the saved disk space for games instead. But thats me. Wouldn't know my twitch from my shakes.
@NEStalgia, @Fenbops pretty sure ps3 outsold 360 in UK but was at least close. Otherwise think US is the only country where xbox sells close to PS normally. I can't see any reason why MS will ever get close to Sony in terms of console numbers worldwide because it will only ever be the US that favours that company. I do think Game pass is the one chance of changing this and this is still an unknown. I think most people with a PS have always been happy so no reason to leave that ecosystem, especially now back compatibility is a thing. I was burnt by 360 era and moved over to Sony and no reason yet not to leave, however giving Xbox a go this gen alongside PS5 due to the lure of Game Pass. But unless something terrible happens with Sony I can't see not ever owning PS unless their games all go to PC. At that point there would be need for either PS or Xbox and could instead use the combined money to purchase an uber PC.
@xMightyMatt14x Game had pre-ordered / waiting list up Series X for a few days last week so it might be they are following the PS5 there. I can't really see a point is doing different between consoles.
I wonder how much 3rd party games will be like this for Xbox this whole gen. If you have game pass would you bother buying new games like this when they could end up on game pass anyway. Bit like Netflix. I don't buy or rent films/series because they will likely end up on streaming eventually.
This then makes me wonder how it will shape the gaming landscape. Will all games eventually have to go onto game pass to compete equally or will game pass end up where low quality / selling games go as most sales will be on PS? Hard to know really.
He's sorry because it didn't work. That is all. Its a balance between charging high as possible versus pricing themselves too high. They are a business out to make as much money as possible and have no care for what people think unless it affects them financially - as in this case.
This guy just comes across as unbelievably ingenuine to me - and that annoys me. Not the price rise - which ALL companies do - but the fake concern that we were unhappy with it. Their only concern is potentially losing paying customers. MS revenue is beyond ridiculous - they don't need to hike the price up - proven by the fact they haven't anymore. Its just business.
If I knew everyone here would buy my product for more money, then go on forums to defend me for it - I'd do it! If everyone screamed and ranted, I'd reverse it and apologise about how I didn't mean to cause angst. I certainly wouldn't say what he is really thinking..."damn..we would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling keyboard warriors!"
@KelticDevil Thanks - my point exactly. Just because I don't think its a great month doesn't mean I'm a fanboy. I'm allowed an opinion as does everyone else and it doesn't need to result in name calling if it differs from someone else's! No heard snarky since I was a kid 🤣 nice one. So many 'snarky' people on here if you don't agree with it being a great month.
Out of interest - are all these game on Game pass? Do they usually just pick out a handful of games from there or are these additional. Obviously Gears is always on game pass but is it a usual thing? Wondering if people with game pass have any interest in GwG additions.
To be honest I would only play Gears out of these so its probably not a great month for me. Oh no - I must be a PS fanboy.... Quick better vote the top option in case people rubbish my opinion....
I do laugh at Lost Planet 2. I had that on the 360 and never got to play it because it RROD on me and I never played my 360 again after that. Maybe I would give that a go, other than I don't really want to play a game from 2 gens ago when there are so many newer games I'd rather get through first.
@NEStalgia yeah Xbox is nowhere near as popular as PS5 in UK but think that's true for everywhere except US. Oddly I got a PS5 but can't get hold of the Series X here, but I also think its partly due to the Series S restricting X productivity. It takes several days before it sells out versus the 3 minutes it takes for the X. Really wish they'd have spend the resource all out on the X and waited for a year before pushing the S as I reckon that will be aimed at the casual market who can get everything with a similar priced One X anyway. Perhaps I'm just grumpy though.
Definition of being British. Went onto Currys this morning on the off chance they have Series X in stock (do it every morning) and was put in a queue (over 200,00th in the queue no less). No idea what the queue was for but hoped it was for Series X so I politely sat in the queue until it said there were no more PS5's left. Damn...
@LiterallyDoNotCare So on PC do the police still appear and disappear from nowhere? Are the NPC's still a dumb and characterless as the PS5 version? I have no idea how a game can win awards with quality this bad?
There is no defending this. Its an awful naming convention that is confusing. Its not the end of the world, but it is confusing.
I don't understand why people compare this to iphones? If my Mrs (who is useless at techie stuff) walked into a store she would know that the biggest number iphone in the shop is the newest and can compare between her current number 6. Yes they have Pro version but I'm pretty sure she'd understand the Pro is the 'better' one than the non pro version.
There is no way she'd walk into a shop and know that Series is newer than a One, or that X is more powerful than an S. And if she did know that Series is the new version of One, then she wouldn't know if Series S is more powerful than One X (although some people say it isn't so I'm still not 100% sure on this). Why would she. It has no progressive relevance. It does not mean the Xbox is rubbish, its just confusing for majority of people who don't read articles about the product in order to learn what the difference is.
@Kefka2589 Nice, thanks! Just checked the min PC requirements from the above link and have all apart from graphics card. Min is NVIDIA GTX 1060 which is £300! Such a shame as I'd have been all over the ultimate option otherwise. Come on MS get some Series X's built asap!!
Is this basically a Silent Hill clone? I didn't have much interest in this until I saw a trailer that made it look like such. I have a very huge SH hole that needs filling and if this reviews well it might be the game I'm waiting for to kick start the next gen on Xbox for me. Assuming I can actually buy a series X that is.
Edit: Out of interest, if I buy game pass can I play games on PC for now, then when I get my Series X I play them on there instead? And what happens if my PC spec isn't capable of running some (all) of the games and where would I download them from? Thinking I could get this on Gamepass on release, play on PC until Series X comes then move onto that afterwards, assuming the save carries over?
@Krzzystuff well.....you could say Tomb Raider is a close of Indy, while Unchartered is a clone of Tomb Raider cloning Indy. Then Tomb Raider cloned Unchartered, which cloned Tomb Raider, which cloned Indy. Now Indy is cloning Unchartered, which cloned...... Starting to sound like a drinking game now!
@Grot not sure why you'd come for comments like "non exclusive multiplatform game?". It seems a really boring but factual comment. I was more interested in how many people would say Unchartered clone (I did myself). Seems too obvious hopefully as I'm wanting something different. There's already been 6 Unchartered (all great) and a handful of Tomb Raiders (first two were ok) so I'm done with that template now. Come on LucasArts - throw in some tentacles with your Indy...
Almost bought one of these but so glad I didn't. With the X out of stock all the time these are relatively easy to snap up, however so far the graphical differences highlighted for the current games already show that it struggles to keep up with the X, and its not just resolution I'm talking about. Will happily wait for the X to be back in stock in 2023.....
An Unchartered for the Xbox? This will probably end up as a disappointing Tomb Raider clone but I'd much prefer a Wolf3D style FPS. Loved Wolfenstein so another one with Indy paint and an interesting story would be very welcome. Without the Bethesda bugs of course
Think I'm the odd one out here but am not at all interested in this. I loved the first mass effect, enjoyed the second enough but lost interest through the third and can't even remember if I finished it (think I did but finale was meh). There are just too many games in my back log to worry about redoing all this again with a let down towards the end. Reminds me of Game of Thrones. Loved it until the last season and couldn't make myself watch the whole thing again knowing how disappointed the end season was.
Having to buy AA batteries is a bane of my life and its not the Xbox controller I'm talking about. TV remotes, radio controlled cars... I could go on but I must be paying so much on these thing and they are never around when you need them. So infuriating. When I buy my Series X my first purchase will be a charger pack but (as I've mentioned in the past) why can't they offer me a controller for the same price but with the rechargable battery pack included. Why do I have to pay the £20 for the charger pack already then pay it again to get the damn charger pack, making the official price of the controller to be £75 really. Which is far more expensive than a PS5 controller which holds many more features. Thats not choice to me, thats forcing people to pay for every option.
I wonder if this Duracell deal is whats holding back the features found in all other controllers and its not because MS don't think people want it? They thought people wanted Kinnect which is far more unlikely than features in a controller.
@NEStalgia Yeah battery on Series X at least gives you the option but its crazy they still charge you the £20 on the controller and then ask for the £20 afterwards. As long as the price is £20 cheaper for a controller then I'm fine with it.
I can't stand the AA batteries option. Used to run out on the 360 controller then have to either pay £10 for 4 batteries in corner store or wait days for delivery so inevitably paid an extra £20 for the charger kit anyway (after a few £10 battery purchases). My PS controller I just plug in when I've finished playing and it has never run out ever. I will never understand the argument the other way, however still think giving a choice is the best option.
@NEStalgia Fair enough about the cost point. I just assume they will always charge the same amount anyway. Xbox controller is pretty much the same as PS5 without the "features" plus £20 to buy the charge kit that already comes with the Dual sense - so to some extent controllers will always be over priced. Gyros is actually something I don't like. Mainly because I'm not very skilled with it - but like my earlier point, I wouldn't want it removed because so many people like you do like it. I just need to get better with it.

Am loving game pass so far (why I bought it in the first place).
Basically my opinion is there are definitely things I prefer about the PS5 and things I prefer about the Series X which is exactly how I wanted it to be.
Re: Xbox Series X|S Were The UK's Best Selling Consoles In January 2021
Re: Control's Photo Mode Reveals Xbox Series X Performance Boost Over PS5
Re: Microsoft Was Reportedly Looking Into Acquiring Gearbox Software
Re: Ori Director Apologises For 'Overly Aggressive' Rant Towards Fable, No Man's Sky And Cyberpunk 2077
Re: OG Xbox Creator Wants To Know If You'd Buy A New Classic Console
@FraserG Okay - didn't know that. Always assumed they all worked.
I have a SNES mini and it was awesome for a brief moment but then I realised that most of the games hadn't aged very well at all. I remembered F-Zero as one of my favourite games, but it made me feel sick trying to play it. Its an epileptics worst nightmare!
Re: OG Xbox Creator Wants To Know If You'd Buy A New Classic Console
I just don't know why? Don't all Xbox 1 games work on Xbox Series now anyway? Or at the least on Xbox One? Unless I'm mistaken why buy a machine to do a proportion of what everyone's current machine can already do? Confused on this one
Re: Rumour: YouTuber Hints At Surprise Xbox Exclusive & Acquisition In 2021
Reckon they'll buy CDPR to take on the 2 most bug infested studios within 1 year period.
At that point they'll be encouraged to buy CDPR to help them out
Re: Rumour: Microsoft In Talks For Another Bethesda Level Acquisition
Re: Review: The Medium - A Stunning Xbox Series X Showpiece, Let Down By Uninspired Gameplay
@davidko 60% - where do you live?!? Norway? If so tough sh** - I'd pay 60% tax to live there
But it is an interesting point. A lot of industries gain tax benefits just to keep the work in the country - difficult balance I guess.
Would you play the game on Game Pass so you aren't contributing to their income but at least getting something you've technically paid for?
Re: Roundup: Here's What The Critics Are Saying About The Medium
@Fenbops To range from 5/5 , 9/10 to 3/10 is very odd. Even if someone doesn't enjoy the game you can rate it based on its technical merit alone. 3/10 generally means a broken mess to me!
Re: Microsoft Expects Xbox Series X Supply Issues To Continue For Now
@dmcc0 Yep - almost got one as well. Sold out during my payment trying to go through.
Series S took most of the day to sell out so if people want that they are likely to get one relatively easily, but the X went in minutes.
Re: Review: The Medium - A Stunning Xbox Series X Showpiece, Let Down By Uninspired Gameplay
Re: Microsoft Working On Multiple 'Capture And Share' Improvements For Xbox Series X|S
I'd personally prefer them to get rid of this functionality and use the saved disk space for games instead. But thats me. Wouldn't know my twitch from my shakes.
Re: UK Boxed Charts: Hitman 3 Debuts At Top Spot, But Only 27% Sold For Xbox
Re: UK Boxed Charts: Hitman 3 Debuts At Top Spot, But Only 27% Sold For Xbox
Re: Phil Spencer Apologises For 'Angst And Emotion' Caused By Xbox Live Gold Price Hike
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With February 2021's Xbox Games With Gold?
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With February 2021's Xbox Games With Gold?
To be honest I would only play Gears out of these so its probably not a great month for me. Oh no - I must be a PS fanboy.... Quick better vote the top option in case people rubbish my opinion....
I do laugh at Lost Planet 2. I had that on the 360 and never got to play it because it RROD on me and I never played my 360 again after that. Maybe I would give that a go, other than I don't really want to play a game from 2 gens ago when there are so many newer games I'd rather get through first.
Re: AMD Surprised By Demand For Next-Gen Consoles At Launch
@NEStalgia yeah Xbox is nowhere near as popular as PS5 in UK but think that's true for everywhere except US. Oddly I got a PS5 but can't get hold of the Series X here, but I also think its partly due to the Series S restricting X productivity. It takes several days before it sells out versus the 3 minutes it takes for the X. Really wish they'd have spend the resource all out on the X and waited for a year before pushing the S as I reckon that will be aimed at the casual market who can get everything with a similar priced One X anyway.
Perhaps I'm just grumpy though.
Re: AMD Surprised By Demand For Next-Gen Consoles At Launch
Definition of being British. Went onto Currys this morning on the off chance they have Series X in stock (do it every morning) and was put in a queue (over 200,00th in the queue no less). No idea what the queue was for but hoped it was for Series X so I politely sat in the queue until it said there were no more PS5's left. Damn...
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Expected It To Be Ready In 2022, Claims Report
@LiterallyDoNotCare So on PC do the police still appear and disappear from nowhere? Are the NPC's still a dumb and characterless as the PS5 version? I have no idea how a game can win awards with quality this bad?
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Expected It To Be Ready In 2022, Claims Report
@UltimateOtaku91 Imagine the uproar if they had done that and skipped the Series S!
Re: Josef Fares Blasts Xbox Series Naming Convention As A 'Total F**king Mess'
Re: Xbox Series X Horror The Medium Receives Terrifying Live Action Trailer
@Kefka2589 Nice, thanks!
Just checked the min PC requirements from the above link and have all apart from graphics card. Min is NVIDIA GTX 1060 which is £300! Such a shame as I'd have been all over the ultimate option otherwise.
Come on MS get some Series X's built asap!!
Re: Xbox Series X Horror The Medium Receives Terrifying Live Action Trailer
Re: Bethesda Announces Indiana Jones Game With Wolfenstein Dev
@Krzzystuff well.....you could say Tomb Raider is a close of Indy, while Unchartered is a clone of Tomb Raider cloning Indy. Then Tomb Raider cloned Unchartered, which cloned Tomb Raider, which cloned Indy. Now Indy is cloning Unchartered, which cloned......
Starting to sound like a drinking game now!
Re: Bethesda Announces Indiana Jones Game With Wolfenstein Dev
@Grot not sure why you'd come for comments like "non exclusive multiplatform game?". It seems a really boring but factual comment. I was more interested in how many people would say Unchartered clone (I did myself).
Seems too obvious hopefully as I'm wanting something different. There's already been 6 Unchartered (all great) and a handful of Tomb Raiders (first two were ok) so I'm done with that template now.
Come on LucasArts - throw in some tentacles with your Indy...
Re: Xbox Series S Will Hold Up To Graphically Intense Games, Says Dev
Almost bought one of these but so glad I didn't. With the X out of stock all the time these are relatively easy to snap up, however so far the graphical differences highlighted for the current games already show that it struggles to keep up with the X, and its not just resolution I'm talking about. Will happily wait for the X to be back in stock in 2023.....
Re: Bethesda Working On Indiana Jones Game With Wolfenstein Dev
An Unchartered for the Xbox? This will probably end up as a disappointing Tomb Raider clone but I'd much prefer a Wolf3D style FPS. Loved Wolfenstein so another one with Indy paint and an interesting story would be very welcome. Without the Bethesda bugs of course
Re: Retailers List Mass Effect Legendary Edition With March Release Date
Think I'm the odd one out here but am not at all interested in this. I loved the first mass effect, enjoyed the second enough but lost interest through the third and can't even remember if I finished it (think I did but finale was meh).
There are just too many games in my back log to worry about redoing all this again with a let down towards the end. Reminds me of Game of Thrones. Loved it until the last season and couldn't make myself watch the whole thing again knowing how disappointed the end season was.
Re: Xbox Controllers Still Use AA Batteries Because Of A Duracell Deal, Suggests Spokesperson
Re: Xbox Wants To Know If You Like The PS5's Controller Features
Re: Xbox Wants To Know If You Like The PS5's Controller Features
@NEStalgia Fair enough about the cost point. I just assume they will always charge the same amount anyway. Xbox controller is pretty much the same as PS5 without the "features" plus £20 to buy the charge kit that already comes with the Dual sense - so to some extent controllers will always be over priced.
Gyros is actually something I don't like. Mainly because I'm not very skilled with it - but like my earlier point, I wouldn't want it removed because so many people like you do like it. I just need to get better with it.
@Hypnotoad107 - yes that would be a better option
