Bloober Team has dropped a new trailer for The Medium, this time using live action to show us the horrifying experience we'll be undertaking when it arrives on Xbox Game Pass later this month.
The visceral live action trailer is filled with the disturbing imagery we've grown to know since its initial reveal, delving into the game's creepy atmosphere, whilst also bring the game's protagonist Marianna to life. It's even filled with the terrifying enemy, The Maw, who will stalk players throughout the narrative.
It's a spooky new look at the upcoming horror game, which is due to hit Xbox Series X|S and PC on January 28th, also hitting Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on the same date. Pre-load is already available now for those who are ready to jump into the chilling experience as soon as it launches.
14 minutes of brand new footage also dropped last week, diving into the game's dual-reality gameplay mechanic, which sees players alternating between two worlds simultaneously, creating a true next-gen experience.
Are you excited to check The Medium out later this month? Let us know in the comments below.

Live-action video? Odd! Not watching it though, as I want to be surprised when I play the game myself.
@ShaiHulud that’s the same reason I’ve not watched the gameplay vid, I don’t want to know too much before I play it.
Offtopic but can someone post a link to the PC specs for this game please and thanks
Very excited for this! Looks to be their best game yet. Game Pass FTW!

Is this basically a Silent Hill clone? I didn't have much interest in this until I saw a trailer that made it look like such. I have a very huge SH hole that needs filling and if this reviews well it might be the game I'm waiting for to kick start the next gen on Xbox for me. Assuming I can actually buy a series X that is.
Edit: Out of interest, if I buy game pass can I play games on PC for now, then when I get my Series X I play them on there instead? And what happens if my PC spec isn't capable of running some (all) of the games and where would I download them from? Thinking I could get this on Gamepass on release, play on PC until Series X comes then move onto that afterwards, assuming the save carries over?
@Kefka2589 Nice, thanks!
Just checked the min PC requirements from the above link and have all apart from graphics card. Min is NVIDIA GTX 1060 which is £300! Such a shame as I'd have been all over the ultimate option otherwise.
Come on MS get some Series X's built asap!!
@GunValkyrie Current gen and PC only
@GunValkyrie It's only playable on the Series consoles unfortunately. The instant switching between the two worlds wasn't possible on older consoles according to the developers.
@Gaming365247 New trailer + updated and detail system requirements posted. All shown for 30fps but framerate can be unlocked on PC.
