For me, Id like to give some love to Sunset Overdrives final DLC Robot Factory as it gave us one of the zaniest end bosses to the story. Just Insomniac Games going bonkers with their DLC and roping in their community manager.

@NeoRatt ...or, just maybe, it wasn't his decision to turn a dev team known for its single player experiences into multiplayer devs, and him looking forward to what is next is a return to what they were good at and enjoyed making??

Wow that's pretty cool. I'm curious if there are any old previews/reviews for this game back in Official Xbox Magazine and the like.

@GuyinPA75 @theduckofdeath I've had an in-person interaction with him at a PaxEast gaming conference when I stopped him in the halls. I had a few Xbox questions and he was super kind and answered all my questions with sincerity. I thanked him for his time and what he was doing for Xbox.

I sure hope the "landscape of remakes" doesn't also change in the next 2 years. It's SO unlikely that they'll have to start over again, again from scratch, right?? Right??

I really feel that Xbox has really come down from their previous top-tier advertising. The Halo diorama commercial and this Gears one. Sensational. Bring that effort back and blast it everywhere.

The Kena will go on my shelf along with both Xbox One and Xbox Series games. The boxes are almost identical and they play forward sooo they all stay together. A shelf of OG Xbox, a shelf of Xbox 360, and a combined shelf of Xbox One and Series.

Great! Just received the physical copy collectors edition in the mail. They squeezed all the discs into one normal looking Xbox case.

@RaZieLDaNtE Does Blue Dragon need a remake? I remember it looking pretty good for it's time with that art style. What do you want in a remaster/remake?

@Dimey Maybe. SquareEnix just came out and said they were done with platform exclusives and wanted their games on every platform to better their chances of making the most money.

I've only heard good things about this game. I own it but haven't given it a shot yet.

I enjoy Two Point Campus and Hospital so I'd probably enjoy Galacticare. I'm just surprised another company would make another "Theme hospital" clone when Two Point Hospital exists. I'm curious how they are different (besides aliens)

I'm surprised they are doing any multiplayer games at all. With this one cancelled they still have one more in development.

@ZYDIO this device grants you an all-in-one and no extra power cord easy LAN with it's built in router if you happen to have access to 3 more xboxes. It also grants you two HD video outputs so if you wanted your game easily projected to your gaming screen and perhaps up to a projector screen at the same time.
But for the StellarX project, that all gets you the digital video out which will be the best. I have heard grumblings about perhaps the show runner of that mod may have gone about something someways that upset the mod scene but I really don't know about it. I've been pretty interested in the StellarX mod and it's sister project.

@ZYDIO Specifically for the HDMI conversion, no I don't think it's better (or at least is negligible) when compared to the Xbox2HDMI.

So it's now (currently) half price. I think I commented somewhere around the product launch that I would reconsider when the price was at least half. Hmmm. The translucent green version is pretty cool too though.

What's the point in making BILLIONS in GTA shark card revenue when you don't get to spend some of that influx on supporting indie studios. Freaking shareholders...

Cool cool, now add a screen-saver like effect that after a set time of no controller input the tiles and the ads go away and just display the dynamic or game background art, on this games console.

I'll buy a physical edition with all dlc content for a reasonable price.

@jesse_dylan I didn't think there was an ergonomic difference between the Xbox One controller and the Xbox Series controller. What difference are you feeling?

Don't I own Blood Dragon in a physical three-pack Xbox 360 release?? Yeah "Farcry Compilation" 2, 3, and Blood Dragon. Within that triple-dvd-case has a single disc for Blood Dragon.
This is cool too though.

Another shame is that they've pulled out the in-game TVs that loaded different videos from their community manager doing weekly updates, of which I'll just say totally relate to the endgame...

@BacklogBrad Nope. No additional save spot and no way to start the game over other than deleting your console save. You can replay missions but they are listed in alphabetical order and not in any sense of story continuity. It's really the only thing that drags down this game for me. Otherwise I absolutely love it. Clearly so, as it's my icon here on PureXbox.

Also, I would bet that for Nintendo, a similar thing is happening with Mario Kart 8, originally a WiiU title rereleased on Switch that has been consistently in the top 5 sales charts for what may be close to a decade.

Oh snap. Apparently Firaxis thought of an Agents of Shield game when Marvel came to them about having Firaxis use their XCom engine and insight into making a Marvel game, which became Midnight Suns.

"Long story short, Marvel approached us—they loved XCOM 2 and asked if we'd be interested in making a squad-based tactics game using the Marvel superheroes," he said. After toying with the idea of an Agents of SHIELD game, Firaxis decided it wouldn't be as fun to see characters like Spider-man pop up in the game every once in a while; players would want to control the heroes themselves. And if your squad is made up of superheroes and not flesh and blood normies, most of XCOM's mechanics—permadeath, fragile soldiers, RNG accuracy—just wouldn't work.

I'm actually quite relieved that this game is not a PvP game. That alone resold me on getting this game.

It should natively play Xbox 360 discs with a blade UI, but also stream backwards compat xbox360 games and GamePass games with their modern UI.

That Collector's edition is pretty cool but I'll just be getting the regular Xbox physical copy.

Dang, my South Park Snow Day physical disc doesn't arrive from Amazon until April 1st.

I found the combo box of a external hard drive and an expansion card at Walmart and I couldn't pass it up. It was a decent deal and I was just able to use the external hard drive to do a full copy of my Xbox One files before doing the SSD upgrade on that, so I didn't have to do a huge redownload of all my files back to that Xbox One.
