Another shame is that they've pulled out the in-game TVs that loaded different videos from their community manager doing weekly updates, of which I'll just say totally relate to the endgame...

@BacklogBrad Nope. No additional save spot and no way to start the game over other than deleting your console save. You can replay missions but they are listed in alphabetical order and not in any sense of story continuity. It's really the only thing that drags down this game for me. Otherwise I absolutely love it. Clearly so, as it's my icon here on PureXbox.

Also, I would bet that for Nintendo, a similar thing is happening with Mario Kart 8, originally a WiiU title rereleased on Switch that has been consistently in the top 5 sales charts for what may be close to a decade.

Oh snap. Apparently Firaxis thought of an Agents of Shield game when Marvel came to them about having Firaxis use their XCom engine and insight into making a Marvel game, which became Midnight Suns.

"Long story short, Marvel approached us—they loved XCOM 2 and asked if we'd be interested in making a squad-based tactics game using the Marvel superheroes," he said. After toying with the idea of an Agents of SHIELD game, Firaxis decided it wouldn't be as fun to see characters like Spider-man pop up in the game every once in a while; players would want to control the heroes themselves. And if your squad is made up of superheroes and not flesh and blood normies, most of XCOM's mechanics—permadeath, fragile soldiers, RNG accuracy—just wouldn't work.

It should natively play Xbox 360 discs with a blade UI, but also stream backwards compat xbox360 games and GamePass games with their modern UI.

That Collector's edition is pretty cool but I'll just be getting the regular Xbox physical copy.

Dang, my South Park Snow Day physical disc doesn't arrive from Amazon until April 1st.

I found the combo box of a external hard drive and an expansion card at Walmart and I couldn't pass it up. It was a decent deal and I was just able to use the external hard drive to do a full copy of my Xbox One files before doing the SSD upgrade on that, so I didn't have to do a huge redownload of all my files back to that Xbox One.

@Ryu_Niiyama How would you pitch an Agents of Shield game? What genre? I enjoyed the show plenty but I can't think of a good game idea right now. XCom-like?

Don't forget Akira Toriyama also contributed to the Xbox exclusive Blue Dragon.

Still need this price to come down to around 75 for me to go for it.

Xbox didn't want to pay the extra Sony licensing fees for use of the larger disc storage format, and instead went with Sonys cheaper, smaller, earlier Blu-ray format.

I've been waiting for the price to come down on this. I'll keep waiting

By the way, "High on Life" physical edition and a collector's edition go on sale this week.

I sent in a news tip yesterday about "High On Life" getting a physical edition and collectors physical edition on sale next week. Can't wait!

I never understood these silent removals of games from stores, even for music licensing ending or similar. How have more of these corporations not gone after that Fear Of Missing Out and alert all that "hey, that game you never bought, well it's got 3 days left on the store. Better get it or it's gone forever".
-not that I want games to ever leave a store, but why wouldn't they want that influx of sales right before the game is out of the store??

@Beetlebum91 'Indiana Jones Emperers Tomb' and 'Armed and Dangerous' are both LucasArts titles, so that may have something to do with it. :/

I also appreciate him going into detail on that Twitter thread as to why their Xbox release of TMNT Shredders Revenge with DLC was cancelled but the Switch and PS5 ones continued on. Relating to how the DLC is imprinted on the discs or not and it was not going to be that way for Xbox, so they didn't go forward with the Xbox edition. Which I guess is fine as I was upset enough with the double-dip for that game. Original release and BEFORE THAT DISC shipped for some, announcing a NEW edition with DLC.

Just got notified that my Limited Run "Shredders" physical copy just shipped. Had to buy it on PS because they didn't expect to hit that Xbox sales quota to print those discs. If only they tried a "everyone pre-order x copies target and we'll produce the Xbox version" effort.

Sunset Overdrive came out at time in my life that I needed that absurd escape. I loved it so much.

I got Resident Evil 2 Platinum back on PC which gave me, a coward, a mini-gun with infinite ammo from the srart. It was a riot.

The day I opened it and it has a small puddle of water in the day I unplugged it and just use it for holding room temp cans of soda. Still love it and it looks good in my gamer room. Still happy. I'd consider the new real-fridge.

Oof. I saw the image used for the headline and rose my expectations for a Brutal Legend 2 announcement and had them immediately dashed.

How did Gargoyles go so wrong?? I almost preordered that one but I also haven't checked in on it.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner @FraserG I feel what is worse is that "Assassin's Creed Mirage" added Denuvo drm to their game a few days after launch, after all the reviews scores and texts were completed. It was even added secretly to game as it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. That's shady.
This temporary withholding doesn't really bother me, but I get your point.

This is the first I've heard of them potentially fixing the brightness issue, so thank you for mentioning that. That makes this a bit more enticing but I'm still not sold on it yet for hooking up all my og Xboxes together at that price. :/

I'm tied with Crazy Taxi and Jet Set, but after just playing some Bomb Rush CyberFunk (and just getting the physical release of it this week) I guess I gotta give my excitement for Crazy Taxi.
