Re: Xbox 360 New-Gen Controllers Now Up For Pre-Order At Hyperkin

@JayJ I bought into those "Retro Fighters Hunter Wireless Controller for Original XBOX, Switch & PC" as they were to be new replacements for the original Xbox, but also PC, so it's nice to have some backups or probably new main controllers for the original Xbox. But it would be nice to have backup/new controllers for the 360.

I feel like I'm the perfect candidate for these but I'm having trouble deciding on whether to get them or not. The current Series controllers are perfect. I enjoyed the 360 controllers in their day, and in fact, I loved the neat dpad/switcher to be 4 way or 8 way on the special 360 controllers. I thought that would be "the way" going forward.
These are neat but I feel like they would just stay in the box on my shelf. If I want to play on PC I'm sure I'd just grab a Series Xbox controller.

A Sega Super game... Like, Jet Set characters are skating around doing graffiti, while Sonic is running through the city like Sonic Adventure 2, and then Outrun or Daytona cars are speeding through the city streets, and all the while players can see each other doing their thing?
Is that fun?

@Sanquine While you can surely get an Xbox, I don't think you have to worry about Elder Scrolls 6 being only Xbox/PC.

And I think this should be mentioned again with this article. Didn't Phil say that "already established and cross platform released" titles wouldn't be taken away from other platforms? Brand new game IPs would be reviewed case by case. So here we have a new IP and Microsoft said "my germs!".

@Smoothmarkymark I know nothing of their company or their history. I don't know if they are worth defending but I want to keep an open mind.
Do we know the sales of the game on Xbox vs other systems? Maybe the game had poor sales and DLC attachment is usually expected around 10% if I recall, so if their xbox install base is already tiny, and they can expect only 10% to buy DLC then they can get an estimate of income. And if you're still following, these devs would have an idea of cost and effort to produce the DLC per system. It's not hard. And sure, you can self-fulfill their lack of sales on a system by not buying the future products and that is on them for not supporting their game. But they would have had to take that into account.
And if you don't know what "SCUMM" refers to then I feel bad for you.

@Banjo- If Rare does indeed own the game assets and game code and not Nintendo..
and if Nintendo lost publishing rights at the 20 year mark... Then I'm done defending this release. There must be something more that we're missing because there would be no reason why we would get this version and not the remaster that was essentially done years ago. Why would the Xbox version be hampered to not have online multiplayer but Nintendo does? There must be something else here in play.
