The customer who pays for a subscription can watch what they want, when they want. That's the point.

Microsoft should pay for the rights to have smaller and older big titles on Game Pass permanently.

Fastest growing doesn't necessarily mean children in Japan today generally know what a Xbox is. Something can be growing fast, yet still be small.

Microsoft has A LOT of work to do in Japan for Xbox.

Shame about Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite and Soulcalibur VI. Many games I want to play leave Game Pass before I am able to. Night Call then Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are the ones I wanted to play most which have left. I am not busy playing other games, I am busy with other things in life.

Night Call is one of the only titles on my play later list, I was waiting to buy a brand new display before enjoying it. It is the biggest shame because I wanted to download it to show support to the developer, I guess it does not take much space and I should have downloaded it even if I was not going to play it yet but I did not know it would be leaving Game Pass soon.

I wish games would stay on Game Pass permanently. I am not enjoying the way it currently works and I will not be renewing.

I have played Final Fantasy 7 remake.

E3 has not been impressive for maybe a decade now.

That said, I watched it streaming live on E3 Xbox- the graphics were impressive.

The graphics look very nice.

However, I am not happy about the paid cosmetics. Furthermore, the game looks too convoluted (items, sprint, aim-down-sight?, dash?)

I look forward to the campaign and enjoying this game's graphics, but personally if I want to play Halo multi-player I will play Halo 1 (classic graphics), 2 (classic graphics), 3 and ODST through Master Chief Collection- when I get a 120hz+ display.

I did not notice any jump pack or exo suit in the trailer. I agree with you and hope that the game does not have them.

The game seems promising and it could be a good thing that (supposedly) more resources are being put in the multiplayer by not having a single player campaign.

.Battlefield 2042 should cost at least $20 less than Battlefield 3 did at launch, because there is no single player campaign in Battlefield 2042. Yet Battlefield 2042 costs more at launch than any previous Battlefield title.

I still recommend Series S over last-gen but only because of load times.

Series S storage is so small, if you would buy a storage expansion for Series S it's better to get a Series X in the first place (unless you can't find stock).

@Ptpete I have owned both a Series S and X at the same time and used them on the same 1080p screen.

Series X looks much better. It downsamples from 4k, or whatever the highest resolution of the software is on Series X for the mode the software is set to.

An easy game to notice the difference in is Dirt 5. To me Dirt 5 on Series S looked like a last-gen title. I mean it looked like a game on the base consoles, not One X and PS4 Pro.

If Battlefield 3 cost less than Battlefield V did at launch, Battlefield 2042 should cost $20 less than Battlefield 3 did at launch.

I also got the PC version for free from Epic Games.

I am not buying any further copies.

I did the 3-year trick. I own a Xbox Series X, I would never have paid for Game Pass otherwise. I dislike digital media subscriptions.

When my 3 years run out, if it is not possible to do that exact trick again (or better), I will move back to PlayStation. Although, I still do not like that those people started charging for online multiplayer and I will never pay for that there. PlayStation for their single player exclusives, PC for everything else.
