What a day. Oh, what a day indeed. We've got three new Xbox releases to get through today and they're all biggems!

First of all, happy Emergence Day to all those who celebrate. PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are being treated to one of the finest games of the year in Gears of War: E-Day. I've been playing it non-stop since review codes came in, and I'm beyond excited that a whole bunch of you get to join me out there in Kalona!

Outside of XGP, we've got another couple of bangers to get stuck into as well. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is blasting its way into the recent release page alongside a proper collection of Kingdom Hearts games. Good stuff!

So, here's what launching on Xbox today (October 6):

Gears of War: E-Day (Series X|S, PC, Cloud) - XGP Ultimate, PC

Experience the horror and brutality of Emergence Day. Fourteen years before the original Gears of War, join Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago in a gripping origin-story campaign as the Locust Horde first erupt from below, igniting a desperate fight for survival.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer (Series X|S, PC, Cloud)

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ is a runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing born in the lawless Outer Rim. With the Empire gone and the galaxy rebuilding, The Galactic League is created: an underground, unsanctioned circuit where syndicates bankroll chaos and champions are forged.

KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I～III] (Series X|S, PC, Cloud)

A value‑packed bundle featuring three collections: KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC).
