When Forza Horizon 6 came out earlier this year, we were amongst many people who thought it was another fantastic entry in the series, and personally I think it's my favourite of all time due to its amazing map of Japan.

However, over the past month in particular, we've come across quite a few instances of fan frustration in regards to the post-launch content the game has received. For example, if you look at the Forza Horizon Reddit community, some of the most upvoted threads have been about the lack of street racing and how the updates haven't really added much of value to the base experience.

Here are a couple of examples:

All of this has not gone unnoticed by the team at Playground Games, who have issued a statement today highlighting that they've read the feedback and they're "looking into future changes" regarding both content and communication.

You can read the statement below:

"Hey Horizon Community, we're reading all your comments about Forza Horizon 6, and we realise that we haven't been talking with you as much as we could be. While we continue to deliver regular content and fixes into the game, we want you to know we hear your feedback about our post-launch updates and we're looking into future changes to both in-game content and the ways we communicate with you. Stay tuned!"

Of course, it's a very busy time for Playground Games right now with Fable on the horizon, not to mention the first Forza Horizon 6 expansion and a PS5 release of FH6 around the corner as well.

That probably explains why the post-launch content has been underwhelming compared to previous entries, and we reckon it'll pick up considerably once Fable is out in the wild and the PS5 version has launched.

Ultimately, it sounds like everyone's being stretched a bit too thin on the development team at the moment, which is leading to a little bit of disgruntlement amongst the fanbase. Here's hoping they'll be able to figure things out ASAP.

That said, we should mention that Playground Games is literally pushing out a new update for Forza Horizon 6 this Thursday in the form of Horizon Meets, which will introduce a new 7-Eleven Car Meet, 3 new-to-Horizon cars, a new Treasure Car, and various other goodies. The next update after that is promised to be "themed around City Life", so here's hoping it satisfies those who have been desperate for more street racing content in the game.
