It's been almost a week now since The Witcher 3 Remastered arrived on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (along with other platforms) as a free update, adding tons of new features and a visual refresh to the 2015 classic.

CD Projekt Red isn't stopping there though, with another five key fixes mentioned today as being in the works for the new release, many of which will ship as part of the game's next update.

Those five fixes are as follows:

  1. Further performance improvements, particularly on PS5
  2. Further visual adjustments
  3. My Rewards/Twitch Drops fixes
  4. Making Ukrainian localization available in other regions on Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X/S
  5. Voiceover audio fixes on consoles

CDPR Social Media Director Marcin Momot also says there are "some more" fixes on the way, although there's no timeline yet for when this next update will drop.

All of these will be welcome improvements without a doubt, but even without them, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is currently the second "best game" of 2026 according to Metacritic with an incredible 93 average rating.

Do you agree with that score? Are you enjoying The Witcher 3 Remastered as much as the critics are, or are you struggling to get back into a game that's now over ten years old? Come and tell us in the poll!
