A mate of mine wanted a series X but couldn’t find one so he settled for an S instead.
Might be a common factor here?

I agree. BC2, BF3/4 were superb.
I really did enjoy BF 1 although not everyone’s cup of tea.
This has potential but time will tell eh.

Played 8 hours of the trial and this is a typical Dice Battlefield release.
It’s just not ready.
I’m going to wait 6 -12 months and the game will be much more complete.
In the meantime I have loads to keep me going including Halo.

However it’s a minor gripe and the games fantastic

There is no quick way.
It’s an absolute slog and I hope they change this asap.
I think I’ve spent around 4 hours on it and am only rank 3!

I absolutely loved all the Project Gotham games and I’m not even a huge racing fan.
They were just so much fun and as stated not solely about finishing first.
It would be a must buy for me if they ever resurrected the franchise but I don’t think they will.

I hope it’s true as I really enjoyed the beta but if not it’s only just over 3 weeks away anyhow so no biggy

Jumping around or going prone immediately you engage with someone has been a part of any FPS for years.
This isn’t something that’s unique to the Halo multiplayer.
COD is a nightmare for it and people do it to a lesser extent (but it still goes on) in Battlefield games.

Got my Series X launch day.
Have to say after the initial excitement of setting up my shiny new console it was really underwhelming as there were no “next gen” experiences to be had.
It didn’t get much action especially as I purchased the PS5 shortly afterwards and that had the fantastic Demon Souls (which is proper next gen graphics) and Astro playroom (which is demonstrated the superb Duel sense controller wonderfully).
Although many games have had series X updates which have been great it’s only now (in my opinion) that it’s really starting to show it’s worth with Flight Sim, Forza Horizon 5 and Halo also around the corner.
The future looks really bright for X box and I can’t wait for next year personally.

Like I said Im curious and have recently gotten into the Souls games so I’m looking forward to playing it but I completely understand your applying for one.
If you can make £100 for basically free then why not?!

Did you foresee the chance to make some money?

I was lucky enough to get a code yesterday and wouldn’t sell it to make money off of it.
I’m a gamer and will enjoy experiencing the game pre release date.

I have an LG C9 mate and I’m pretty sure 120hz has been available for a while but you need a USB to transfer the update from the LG website to the tv.
That’s my understanding anyhow. I haven’t done it but it’s on my list at some point.

I’m just starting Bloodborne for the first time after having a blast with Demon Souls (my first Souls game)

The hype is strong with this one….

Visually the game looks beautiful now and they’ve clearly used the time wisely.
I just hope the semi open world nature doesn’t ruin it for me.
Halo single player has always been an on rails shooter and that’s the way I like it.
Keeping everything crossed 🤞 but either way the multiplayer is amazing so can’t wait for that.

Roll on December 8th so I can get stuck in to both the campaign and the amazing multiplayer.

Exactly this.
I’m fortunate in that I have 250mbps internet speed so download and delete/install regularly but even if I didn’t your point is bang on.

As already mentioned the beta put me off buying this anywhere near launch.
A complete glitchy buggy mess
Halo Infinite for me…it was so much fun and so polished….can’t wait.

It’s good fun Battlefield and I’m sure it’ll do well.
The map is very big even for 128 players as already mentioned.
Looks beautiful on the series X but plenty of bugs to iron out.
Wouldn’t be Battlefield if it released without bugs!

Not as much as 4 and 3 mind

I’ve never enjoyed Halo multiplayer but having played the beta over the weekend it was an absolute blast.
Everything just seems right. The maps are beautiful. The guns are varied, punchy and sound superb.
Movement is great and vehicles are fun to drive/fly.
Game modes on BtB are fantastic.
I can’t wait for launch….roll on December 8th!

There’s some tough boss battles ahead my friend.
You are spot on. Cute charming graphics but the gameplay can be very tough even on the regular levels.
Great game though….good luck In future boss battles, some of which I died 20 odd times prior to beating them!

Wow. It’s superb.
I’ve never liked Halo multiplayer but this is so much fun.
Can’t wait for the launch now

Played the beta last night and which I had a blast with but there was a guy on there saying the game was dead already due to cross play with PC players.
Crazy

Gonna have to download this and see for myself what the hype is about.
Never enjoyed Halo multiplayer over the years but this has peaked my interest.

Do you need a cuddle?

I installed Titanfall 2 a couple of months back on x box and had a blast playing it again.
No issues getting a game and the community seems to be very active still
If you’ve not tried it or have stopped playing you can still jump in and have some cracking multiplayer action.

Got onto Rogue likes/lites (I don’t know the difference) due to Returnal.
Spelunkey is the hardest game I’ve ever played and got a few levels in
Dead cells is excellent too.
I completed Returnal (eventually) but the others I don’t think I’ve any chance.
Any tips?

I agree. I’ve never played a Diablo game before and was looking forward trying it out.
How disappointing. It feels so old and outdated.
Maybe this is the point. I don’t know.
I played it for an hour and deleted it.
Oh well

I really enjoyed what I played on PS5 but as the first comment mentions it had way too many bugs so I reluctantly stopped playing around halfway through.
If they’ve fixed these then I’m in but I’ll reserve judgment at this time

Think if you didn’t like Dead Cells your unlikely to like Hades tbh.
The good thing (stating the obvious) is now it’s on gamepass if your a subscriber you can try it for an hour and if you don’t like it just press the uninstall button. Nothing lost.

Roguelikes can be very frustrating by their nature so I fully understand why you say what you do.
It’s all about making progress and ultimately escaping.
However if it’s not for you that’s fair enough.

Stick with it mate. The more runs and rooms you clear the more items you earn to make you more powerful and you’ll soon be clearing the early rooms with ease.
I bought this on switch 6 months ago. Gameplay is excellent and I’ve now had 58 escape attempts and made it to the final boss 5 times but haven’t quite gotten past that point yet as it blooming tough for me a bang average gamer! Lol
Great game and like you said very addictive…just want more attempt!

I’d give it a chance first mate.
I bought this a few months back on switch and didn’t think I’d get anywhere but you get more powerful with every run.
I haven’t actually escaped yet but I’ve made it to the final boss around 5 times.
He’s tough mind!
