Scorn has been relatively quiet so far in 2021. Last year it was treated to gameplay footage and other news, but in 2021 it seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. However, a recent Xbox Game Pass for PC montage shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live revealed it's still scheduled to arrive this year.

In a blink and you'll miss it moment, Scorn popped up for a couple of seconds with a Fall 2021 release window. This could just be a placeholder, but you'd think Xbox would have withdrawn its date entirely if Fall 2021 wasn't still the plan.

If Scorn does indeed arrive this year, we expect to hear more in the coming weeks as the release window is getting dangerously close. The 4K gameplay that launched last year had some promise, but little has been seen since. It's expected to be an Xbox Series X and Series S console exclusive coming to Game Pass, along with a PC release, so hopefully we hear more soon.

"Scorn is set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and sombre tapestry. It is designed around the idea of "being thrown into the world". Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. Every location contains its own theme, puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world."
