I’ve been an x box gamer since the original in 2001 but have finally had enough and made the jump to PlayStation (5 pro).
There’s zero reason to own an x box now (imo) and that saddens me to say that.

Can anyone enlighten me about what people are talking about when they refer to “x box tax” please?
I keep reading it and don’t have a clue what it’s about..

It is survival horror and it was very contentious at the time of release.
Many fans were upset that they’d gone away from the Doom formula but many loved it (including me)

I loved Doom 2016.
Doom eternal was good but I didn’t like how you needed a specific weapon to take down a certain enemy.
I hope they’ve moved away from that formula and we can just blast away with our preferred weapons.
Looks cool though I have to say.

I 💯 agree with you.
I’ve played nearly 20lbs on my series X and haven’t come across one bug yet.
Not to say there won’t be any but I can only give me experience.
Is the game perfect. Absolutely not but a 4/10 is a joke of a score.
I’d give this 8/10 and if they fix some of the issues in the game then it’ll go higher.

Can anyone explain to me why some reviews are giving this 10/10 and others like skill up don’t recommend it?

I’m hugely enjoying the multiplayer tbh.
A lot of fun
I was surprised when I went on the BO6 community on Reddit and most absolutely hate the maps.
I’m sure some people are just never happy.
Sure some are a little small but sure we’ll get that evened out with DLC.

Get yourself a cheap copy of one of the X com games which are always on sale for dirt cheap.
They’re great games with turn based combat.
You’ll at least find out if you like the combat and not waste a load of money.

Fully agree with the score on this.
Having had the game since early release and invested 25hrs to date its a great game.
9/10 seems about right as it definitely isn’t perfect as some reviewers have made out and is no way a 7 that IGN and Gamespot gave it.
Ultimately the more I play the more fun it gets and I’m hooked.

I own a steam deck andI was thinking of getting BG3 on my it but have decided to purchase on PS5 as according to an awful lot of players on Reddit act 3 is unplayable.

I own both x box series x and ps5 ( I’m sure like many of us) and this wiped the floor with Sonys the other week.
Exciting times ahead for x box which I haven’t switched on for months tbh.

I have to say the game looks extremely impressive indeed.
My x box hasn’t had much activity over the last 6 months but this will change that for sure.
Exciting.

You might be waiting for a bigger drop but you can already pick it up for £43 on Amazon and other sites.

I really didn’t get on with ground war in modern warfare 2019 but this is a blast.
Maps are superb and having a lot of fun.

Campaign only was released a week early so has been available to play since 21/10

I’m enjoying it. Completed 9 of the 17 chapters so far. All different. Gun play is great. A great blast

Just expressing their opinions that it’s nowhere near a 10 as I did.
Everyone’s entitled to their input. Doesn’t mean they’re going off their nut about it! Lol

This is never a 10/10.
Played it on PS5 and got bored after 10 + hours or so and gave up.
7 or maybe 8 at best

PGR for me. They need to reboot it.

Really enjoyed the gameplay of the multiplayer but just can’t be bothered with the challenge system
Haven’t played for months tbh

This is a cracking game. Bought it Friday gone and it’s stopped me playing Gran Turismo and Elden Ring atm.
Brilliantly fun gameplay. Addictive game loop and challenging.
The 15 different characters and random room generator means every run feels fresh.
Take a chance if you’ve the slightest inclination you may like enjoy this.
Worth every penny.
10/10 from me

Too little too late. Game had potential in places (mostly old maps to play rush on) but way too much missing.
The fact it didn’t have a scoreboard more than annoyed me as it’s such a basic thing.
Felt like it was removed so peoples feelings weren’t hurt if they can’t bottom to me.
Anyway there’s zero chance of me buying this game now.
I’ve had all the battlefields up to this point.
Too much of a game backlog and any time I do have is invested in Elden Ring and once I’m done with that I’ll be diving into Cyberpunk.

Pretty cool trailer.
You have my attention.

Absolutely can’t stand the dumb challenged rather than rewarding you for playing well.
Instead let’s make the player base play game modes or use weapons they don’t want to.

Lack of game modes
Lack of variety of maps
Taking weeks and weeks to fix big team battle
Ranking is a mess.
The transactions completely over priced if that’s your bag.
Etc etc

In the original game the risk at night absolutely made the game for me.
I genuinely didn’t want to be caught out at night and did everything to get to a safe zone.

It looks fantastic you’re right. Just upgraded from my Switch V1 and loving the upgrade.
The game itself is superb. The challenge, the atmosphere, enemies, the music. There’s not one thing I’d change.
It’ll definitely keep me going until the release of Silksong (hopefully in the next 12 months)

Just started (15 hours in) to Hollow Knight.
What a brilliant game. I’m finding it very addictive on my switch OLED.

I completely understand they need to make money the game but the pricing is way too expensive for me.
If they charge £10 for items such as this is be tempted.
£20? Err. No thanks.

Just think 343 have missed a trick here tbh.
The games free to play so they will naturally charge for cosmetics. No one has a problem with that.
However if they lowered the asking price to maybe £5 -£8 for each one they would make a tonne of sales.
As things stand very few people are buying them.

It’s cool. It’s halo. Grapple hook definitely adds to gameplay.
Not a huge fan of the open world part tbh.
Anyone else think heroic difficulty really isn’t that hard? It seems easier to me. Most enemies are going down way too easily.

You have do play Halo on heroic not normal on first play through.
Then go back and have four arse handed to you on legendary.

Same mate. I bought resident evil village on sale last week on my PS5 so enjoying playing that.
Along with Infinite multiplayer I’m happy to wait the extra day to play the campaign.

Glad I got a 200mbps internet connection but honestly don’t even think that’ll be enough as the servers will be absolutely rammed with people downloading it.
I’m happy to wait until Thursday to play

Resident evil village on PS5. Bought it for £23 in the PS store. Absolute bargain.

I wouldn’t know where to start with that lot 😂

It’s a mess and should never have been released yet.
On series X I’ve played the 10 hour trial and it crashed multiple times.
Loads of missing features and other bugs.
Thank God for Halo.
