So I was excited for back 4 blood, still am, but the good life has my full attention right now. It looks ridiculously amazing despite how bad it looks. I know my wife is going to have a blast. I guess I'll have to session back 4 blood for two days before the good life releases.

Game pass is seriously shooting on all cylinders lately 😀😍

I mean, for real though, any game or film or book or show that revolves around spies and espionage can technically be compared to Bond, but for starters, in Dishonored, you don't play as a spy. A royal bodyguard turned vengeful assassin is nothing like James Bond.

This sounds like the ramblings of a stoner talking his mates ear off of who, by the way, is busy sucking his gums because, and I quote- "they don't feel like my gums, they feel like someone else's gums". Some early 2001 club music plays through a half busted speaker, some sirens can be heard outside followed by a baby crying and a crazy cat lady meowing at the strays, you wouldn't think it but it's midday, hard to tell because the blackout curtains are drawn over the cardboard window. The stoner starts pacing up and down and starts making connections like "Bond killed people, so does Arvo." His mate by this point has just casually thrown up on his Kappa jacket (heh, remember those) which the stoner takes as a sign of agreement and pulls out his blackboard from behind the 50 inch TV he got with his rebate.

I'm short, I disagree with this entire article. Lots of stories have familiar genetics woven into their design and lots of themes are used and reused, I'm sure Bond isn't the original source point for its stories. This is a weird grabbing at straws scenario in my opinion

As for games that remind me of Bond? Hitman. Perfect Dark. Metal Gear 3 Snake Eater.

Xbox is doing fine and it'll do even better in the coming years.

Series S is a bit of a flop, but I don't think they're meant to be sellers.

Either way it doesn't matter. Game pass is doing great, Xbox series X is selling out, Sony is doing great, PS5'S ARE selling out. PC is doing great, games a plenty on their store, much to the benefit of MS too.

Don't know what to tell you, other than try Not to stress over it. Halo campaign will be out and whether you like it or not, will be s down to your personal taste.

I don't think Halo is going to change or shift many players to one console or the other. It'll be most likely Bethesda and Machinegames etc. Not that MS are that bothered. They're all about the Game pass mostly, and the Japanese market.

But yeah, I've been over this with you, I've agreed and sympathise with your point, but other than that, you're kind of like a broken record now mate.

Be happy. Smile. Play a game or go for a walk or read a book or something 😊 it's not that bad

I enjoy both styles of RPG's, but then my RPG experience was Morrowind so maybe that's why I enjoy their battle system A lot 😊

I understand your impatience though, or, rather extended patience haha. I'm sure it won't be long now. I suppose with this gen being hard to get hold of a lot of players won't feel our pain, by 2023 when shortages end, most of their games will be coming out the door. For me, I'm more than happy with Game pass and current games coming out like Far cry and, I know it's a remake (aware you're not a fan) Alan Wake.

Hang in there mate, I hope they give you something soon. I'm also quite frustrated waiting for some gameplay.

Side note though, Jeff and all the other insiders make me laugh. It could happen but it might not but they plan to maybe someday perhaps tomorrow or next month show a trailer for a game unless they decide not to but I hear they're thinking about it.

I would LOVE to see some gameplay. This could be Xbox's God of War. Not to downplay the powerhouse that is God of War, just mean in terms of gravity.

I recall reading somewhere it's over twenty million, which sounds more plausible than 30, however, that's quite a number to slip out by accident during conversation, not to mention that take 2 had GTA and Red Dead on Gamepass, so I suppose they would have an idea how many subs were accessing their game.

I reckon it's close to 30 million and Xbox are waiting to hit that milestone before announcing it officially.

@Dezzy70 It's a shame they didn't use the parts to make more Series X consoles. I understand the logic behind the S, and maybe they're waiting to see how Christmas pans out. Series S is a great system, but it doesn't have that allure like the PS5 and Series X. People wanna feel like they're investing in next gen, not briskly wading through the shallow end.

I nearly got an S, but was very lucky enough to get an X.

I hear the S is more popular among mostly Sony fans, people who want something for game pass but not for next gen oomph.
