@UltimateOtaku91 My wife is the same, ahha, for her it's like watching a horror movie. For me, it's an intense nerve rattling experience (I'm a whimp for horror games, yet can't stop playing them)
Oh man, juggling a lot of games this month.
Good life, Tenchu Z, Harry Potter half blood Prince (loving the potion making) back 4 blood, TABS, Batman tell tell series, and Alan Wake.
@Originut Every now and then we need these kind of games, if not for us, for our partners haha. My wife for bored of Sims and was talking about decorating π then she saw this, now the subject has vanished hahaha phew
@UltimateOtaku91 After having played it, I would spend 30 pounds max. It's a really enjoyable game, plus my wife loves it. So she gets to play it on the S, too.
Gamepass have yet to announce their second half of October games, right? Either way, November has me sweating. Can't wait. Not to mention late September additions, and or course, this month has been all Back 4 Blood!
@Originut so far it feels like Animal crossing meets the twilight zone hahah. Worth a try. I love it, hope you get some fun out of it too π it's not to everyones taste, haha, it's shamelessly weird. But yeah, feels almost like I'm playing a nintendo wii or GameCube game. Has a timey feel to it.
@RedKnight34 Personally, I haven't seen him as a troll, and I'm sure he's equally critical on all sites, that said, I don't agree with his critcism most of the time, nor does a lot of other people, hence why these heated conversations take place. I wouldn't block him, don't know him personally, and I hope I haven't upset him or anything. I just strongly disagree with his points, maybe I should ignore him, only comment if there is something I agree with him on. Either way, I'm sure he's not her to cause trouble π he's just very opinionated and can sometimes seem overly negative.
You told people to avoid buying this game as it's crap. Yet you haven't played it. I disputed this. You dug down on the logic that watching a game rather than playing it can determine on whether it's good or bad. I Disagreed. You then brought Pushsquare and Nintendo into it, as if I'm only calling you out because this game is on Xbox. Which I wasn't.
The rest is in your head, man
On a side note, this isn't the first time I've seen you arguing with other people on here. Ever stopped to think you're looking for arguments π but whatever, I'm done, this is a boring pointless activity and I'm hungry
@UltimateOtaku91 I was disputing your blanket logic of calling the game bad simply because you didn't think it was good. That kind of comment will always get called out by someone. π€¦π€· but cool, don't worry about it.
@UltimateOtaku91 You seem like the one that's triggered here. Man, I would hate to have your mind. Must be *****. Sorry, I don't want to argue, I don't want to add to the heap of negativity that occupies your mental space. I didn't know you were so sensitive, I mean, I thought "well, this guy clearly likes to be negative about almost everything, and then turn it into a console fan thing, therefore he can take some feedback" but it looks like you're losing it a tad.
@Originut To be fair, I've watched videos online of all those games and they look terrible. Don't play them you'll hate them. π sorry, couldn't resist. I agree with you. Not the first time I've seen him try and crap in everyone's cornflakes.
@Deadcow It feels like a Nintendo game, if that make sense? Either way it seems to run fine for me. But that aside, it's super chill. And odd. I'm loving it
@UltimateOtaku91 Reviews are opinions and videos of glitchy gameplay isn't the same. cool though, using Cyberpunk to back up your point π Ran fine on my series X, everyone I know loved it, myself included. And it wasn't an opinion, was it. You declared the game bad as a matter of fact. I
Your argument is weak, mate. Your logic is depressing. I think Orignut tea analogy is perfect. let's leave it there. Clearly I'm the kind of person who enjoys trying a game out for themself before deciding whether it like it or not. You're the kind of person who likes draw an opinion based on what he sees. What a sad world it would be if we were all like that π€
@UltimateOtaku91 Mate, you literally said "If you have gamepass then it's fine to see how bad it is for yourself" as if it's a matter of fact. My wife loves the game, I'm so far enjoying it lots. You can't really fully ascertain whether you enjoy a game by watching someone else play, and again, if you have Gamepass, there's no such thing as "false hype", you play to see whether you like it or not.
It's a weird thing to do, to claim a game is terrible having not even played it.
Hmm, if this wasn't a Saints Row game, I'm thinking it would be received with less criticism and artificial outrage. Because the game itself looks quite fun, only the internet being the internet won't let it settle on just being fun, it has to match what's in everyone's head, it has to be what other people want a Saints row game to be, which is laughable because saints row will only be what those who created saints row want it to be. It's their right to carve out the image they want, and yeah, it's our right to say whether we like it or not, but now much of that hate is born from a knee jerk "go woke go broke" reaction, how much of that hate comes from the old playerbase who don't want their franchise to change with the times, and how much of that hate is just general dislike for the game itself.
I don't wanna be that guy but I've heard 89% of PETA activists are hard-core Zoosexuals.
On a more serious note, has anyone ever read the study of ten major flaws of humanity, most of which are hard wired into our DNA. One of them is moral hypocrisy, another is superiority illusory complex, though that's not to say the causes we choose to be passionate about are to be mitigated by this fact, it does illuminate some insight into the minds of those who select a target as their means of justifying and validating their superior opinion of a subject.
I'm sure that these offended PETA members are guilty of either wearing unethical clothing manufactured in some sweat shop or driving and contributing further damage to the climate, they may even be meat eaters, or be able to switch over the starving African ads on TV without a flicker of emotion, and yet they feel validated, convicted and high on the cause they've chosen to fight for. This makes them naturally morally hypocritical and by nature, divisive, which leads to the us vs them mentality which is genetically embedded into us since the caveman times, they're targeting a game because it throws a bigger net over the "them" so that they can further feel superior to a bunch of uncaring brainwashed gamers. That's what they'll see us as, covert dehumanization, by us gamers not agreeing with their logic we'll be filed as lazy time wasting children who should be out in the real world giving a dam instead of watching virtual chickens fight. This helps them push their narrative and again, helps them feel superior.
I hate the term left, or right, that again is covert dehumanization.
Don't be offended over them being offended and in fact, don't even report it. Only when there is reaction does the delusion begin.
Back 4 Blood is great, it's the Left 4 Dead sequel I always wanted. Also, not really a loophole around the whole not being able to unlock stuff in single player, but if you play online and players drop out, they get replaced by pretty helpful Bots. I had a terrible team on my hand, they quit, their bots were miles better πππ
It's come to my attention that being a fan of Xbox on a xbox fan site is bad.
Thus I will shamelessly be a fan π because I am. And I think it's more powerful than other console based hardware out there. Far Cry 6 is just the beginning of third party games looking better on the X π
I feel like xbox has lots of games out this year but due to pre contractual agreements nearly all of them were multiplat, giving an illusion that Xbox hasn't released anything. This leads to the speculation well, dreams and hopes and wishful thinking plentiful and had it been a few years back that's all they would be, but after the waves Xbox is making, after the seemingly out of the blue Bethesda announcement, there's no telling what's going to happen next, but as a gamer we can feel it. When rival companies start saying 20 million players ain't enough, you get this feeling they know something...something that makes them second guess their original stance.
I'm summary, what a golden time to be an Xbox fan, and any fan of gaming in general

I'm playing Alan Wake (he's a terrible writer, and a bit of a moody dick) it's good though. Tenchu Z on the 360. Tried Visage out. Got scared. Deleted it. Finished the walking dead series on Gamepass, had no idea there was another season out, will buy that next week.
Oh my god, slightly unrelated but I can't wait for the good life on the 15th.
Also, on the 14th there's a game called murder house coming to consoles, meant to be a retro tank control horror game. Anyone played it? Really wanna get it.
@Dezzy70 You're not wrong π It's lucky MS can afford the hit. Just gotta hope their reputation doesn't. I know gamepass seems to be their main focus but series S is depressing. It's a huge shame because I think it's a nice introductory console but at the same time nobody wants a weaker system. Let's hope they do a digital version of the X.
@Dezzy70 I agree. they could have been used for Series X consoles. Surely the chips inside them? Can't they get them now? Off the shelves I mean, re-use the parts? Or give them away as a game pass machine haha. It's not a good look, and I suspect they're trying to hold out for Christmas but they shouldn't. Series X is doing incredibly well, the series S is almost a stain on that success π€¦ it's quite annoying to see.
Not making a dig here, but has or does Sony ever congratulate other companies success? I love the fact Xbox does. It's wholesome and much needed in a community ripe with a toxic minority π
What's going on with these gaming companies π€¦ First you got Back 4 Blood cutting the wings off single player, now Square is whipping out their tiny dicks and urinating in everyone coffee.
I just want a sentient next gen controller equipped with a self aware AI voice that tells me when I need to eat, sleep and poop. I Also want it to monitor everything I say and do. I want it to be able to transform into a six foot robot capable of killing my enemies on command. I was Phil Spencer to hand deliver it to me and I want it to have mini vents at the side which emits a Jasmine blue Lilly scent Every time I hit A.
I just dusted off my old 360 so I can play Tenchu Z and hopefully silent hill downpour, if they made these playback I'd be very happy as the old 360 is very old haha, it's struggling
@Originut Sorry!! Nobody deserves that degree of false hope, even by mistake hahaha. One day, I have faith, there will be a new tenchu. There has to be. Aragami 2 does a nice job of almost filling that need ππ
@Originut I had it on the 360, got half way through then the disc went missing. I suspect foul play haha. So it's kind of the first time π I'm really enjoying it so far, but Tenchu Z just arrived through the post today, so now I'm juggling two games haha
I had to choose between this and Alan Wake. I went with Alan Wake. Love the far cry games but not enough to cough out 60 pounds. Will wait for a deal or something. Really enjoying Alan Wake though, and with Back 4 Blood and The good life right around the corner, I couldn't possibly squeeze in a far cry game anyway. π I hope you enjoyed my life story hahah
Procession to Cavalry is what happens when you merge classical painting memes and Monty Python together. It's a wild ride haha, I thought it was really funny.
Back 4 Blood and the good life, oh my god the good life looks crazy. I heard it has some bad rap about the developer game maker or something, blah I don't care, I'll still be playing it.
On Alan Wake at the moment, hopefully can complete it before Back 4 Blood

Procession to Cavalry is what happens when you merge classical painting memes and Monty Python together. It's a wild ride haha, I thought it was really funny.
Back 4 Blood and the good life, oh my god the good life looks crazy. I heard it has some bad rap about the developer game maker or something, blah I don't care, I'll still be playing it.
On Alan Wake at the moment, hopefully can complete it before Back 4 Blood
