It reminds me of the Halo Infinite menu screen. And that's the perfect example of a fantastic game that met all expectations.

The MotoGP XBL demo. I played that A LOT. It was during a time when people would speak on voice chat and actually have conversations and great times.
We discovered an area near the garage that would teleport you to near the end of the lap, but then people were watching us, and eventually everyone was doing it and it caused major pileups lol hilarious stuff.

I even took apart my controller and sanded around the left thumbstick so I can lean slightly more forward and go way faster than everyone else.

I'm sure they'll all have remakes done of them eventually.

Sports games new features are like reading the marketing for athletic supplements. They always have proprietary phrases like "Sustained Pressure System" or "Muscle Manufacturing Buff Blend".

I just want the games on sale to show up in the front, or the ability to sort by price.

@Microbius and I'm talking about sports games where people DO trash talk. It's part of the game. No one's gonna be like "what a delightful interception, I really enjoyed watching you take possession".

@Microbius The problem is that it can be enforced in a ridiculous way. Some games have a trash talking culture, like sports games for example.
A simple "yoooo boy, you got rekt!" can be overreacted to by a pansy gamer and cause someone to no longer be able to play.
If a system like this is abused it has the potential to destroy part of gaming culture.

In Halo MCC I've got 24 hour bans because of an accidental grenade ricochet.
With this new more strict banning system I predict a rising popularity in single player games.

I found out you can put 10 games on the home screen, so then you can see people's lame content, and have to press on the game twice instead of once.

Suggestions of games to play that I don't currently own are ads by definition.
Now it's 99% ads. And people seem chill with it, so I guess it is the right direction. Can't wait till ads are in the games too eh?

But what also feels great is not blowing my money on a console that has 60 fps capabilities that aren't taken advantage of by the first party studio.

I highly suspect (and anticipate) Hexen to be rereleased on GP on Tuesday.
I think it will be like the Doom, Doom 2, and Quake rereleases they did that have curated mods.

I could care less about how much they make, I wanna see some innovation.
And unfortunately when they see bigger numbers they have no reason to innovate.

As long as those numbers keep going up at a steady rate we'll be seeing more of the same. No VR, no gyro controllers, just an underpowered closed PC in a plastic box, and buyers who'll keep buying what they're told to.

I love it. Not everyone can afford the Series X. And I didn't wanna buy a Series S AND extra storage.

@MustachioFurioso Starfield isn't out yet, and there's no guarantee that it'll be out this year or even be good.

@GuyinPA75 I had a set. Made of cheap plastic with an extended bit that connects the microphone, and easily snapped of when my headset holder fell over.

@Pusher2021 I've actually never played the first Hallow Knight. I know it's a sin lol, but it's just something about the art that bothers me.

I play SMB3 just about every day. I can't wait to try this new one. Looks to have some fun new stuff, and it has retired players.
I dunno about paying 50 for it though.

@Pusher2021 There's indie games I like. I'm not bashing on indie games. I used to be involved in development of some indie games myself.
Ones I would rate highly are Fez, Super Meat Boy, Human Fall Flat, Neon Abyss, Dead Cells, Wreckfest, You Have to Win The Game, Thomas Was Alone, Prodeus, and Superliminal.
I'm sure there's others, a lot more on PC, but those are the ones I can think of now.

I'd like to see more games that demand we see their legs. I hope more than half the show is about legs in games.
And I'm sure there will be a feature in with a brand new game is dropped where we can clearly see the legs at all times.
Legs, that's what makes Xbox different.

@Pusher2021 I gave it a 5. All Xbox games considered, it's a 5. There's nothing really outstanding about it, and it's nothing we haven't seen before. It's Oddworld without the humor and Another World without an interesting story.
Actually I should have gave it less than a 5, but I felt generous.

Car mechanic simulator looks like the best out of the bunch, but it'll probably be on PC only.
It seems the best way to experience Game Pass is with a PC. I'm not sure what the point of Xbox is anymore.

It would be awesome to see all the new controllers on a huge screen.

They should do a controller showcase where they show off all their new controller designs coming out in the next six months.

And a headset? Ohhhh I hope it's that same design as the official Xbox headset. I like how it has the mic arm on an extruding piece of cheap plastic that easily breaks.
