These Seven Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (June 1-13)

I'll give Dordogne and Amnesia a shot. Thankfully Diablo comes out in June as well.

Nice mix of games. Amnesia, The Big Con, Rune Factory 4 and Dordogne are all calling my name. Sure there will also be GP drops during the showcase.

I'm hoping there's some more bigger games coming this month especially after the showcase, just bought the Logitech G Cloud handheld as well purely for gamepass so I'm hoping to get a good chunk of playtime on it in June but not much is catching my eye right now, I have started ravenlok and redfall so I may continue with those, may give Amnesia a try but im not the best at the sneaky horror games, give me a weapon and I'm fine though 😅

Looks like games with gold found it's new home.

I strongly recommand trying Stacking from Double Fine. I don't know how it aged, but it really was a fun and unique game, and I didn't play any game like it since (there are tons of fun and unique games, but not like Stacking).
Be curious.

@mousieone I did see you online the other day playing that game and I did click to see what it was about, I may give it a try when my new handheld comes tomorrow.

And yes rune factory 4 is a definite reccomendation, I wonder if rune factory 5 will also make it's over at some point as well. I've got in on switch but the performance is shocking.

@UltimateOtaku91 I have a RoG Ally on Pre-order which is 'due' around the middle of June as my Hand held option and to take more advantage of Game Pass Ultimate which includes Game Pass for PC and Cloud. I want the ability to play locally too and not locked to a specific ecosystem or only 'useful' in areas where the Wifi is strong enough.

None of these 'smaller' games would encourage me to turn my Series X on to 'download' to play on my 4k TV specifically to play - not even worth turning on the XSX to play over Cloud on a 55" 4k TV as the compression and upscaling that to 4k isn't great - but I'd be more likely to play on a 'small' 1080p screen where artefacts are too small to be impactful. Its much easier to just pick up the hand held and play - don't need to wait until I am sat on the sofa and the TV is not in use to be able to play.

I'd of course like to see AAA games on Game Pass, the Games I want to pre-download before release so that they are ready to play the day they launch that effectively cost the same as 6months of Game Pass so if I don't play games 'next' month, I still 'feel' in credit. But then most of these are likely to cost 2 months of GP (standard - not Ultimate) or more each.

@BAMozzy Tbh I was looking at the ROG as well but was slightly more than budget right now but within the next 12 months I will definitely get one as like you I want to play games natively and not always over WiFi.

The reason I went for the G Cloud right now was because I wanted a bigger screen for handheld, the backbone one was good but because it needed a mobile phone the resolution was fixed at 720p which isn't the best especially when on mobile using xcloud cutss off some of the screen on the edges smdue to the aspect ratio, so games didn't look the best, and then as I have big hands the smaller controller part made it hard to play shooters (they are smaller than switch joy con's).

But the G Cloud has a 7 inch screen with a perfect aspect ratio for fullscreen cloud gaming and is 1080p, plus I can use it for playstation remote play and geforce now which I'm very interested in trying. And I believe I can use it as a normal tablet as well since it has Google play built in which I will use for watching anime etc. So for right now it was my best option based on my budget.

But I am interested to hear your feedback on the ROG once you get it, it looks sleeker than the bulky steam deck and doesn't have the touch pad which I would never use.

Three of these are day one releases and have really been looking forward to The Bunker. Probably $60-70 in new releases alone. And Rune Factory 4 is a great add. This list is far better than GWG.

Some fun games now and the rest later after the Showcase. Definitely play two or three of these.

@Cherip-the-Ripper Yeah, it’s not much of a contest. FWIW, this month’s GWG was decent for me at least.

My Xbox is in sleep mode for now. Tears of the Kingdom is all I'll be playing until maybe Tekken 8 comes out.

Wow Gamepass is dropping off a cliff recently.

I can only assume it’s either because they were expecting to drop ABK stuff by now, or something with the showcase.

But the last few months the quality has dropped fast.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner no they are waiting in the Show. They do this every year before the showcase.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner gamepass is usually amazing but the Last few months have been shocking hopefully it improves soon its been the only reason I've still got my series x

@mousieone yeah I did suggest that, but when you think January had things like Monster hunter, persona, AoE… to see what is being added now is well quality wise just not the same.

I get you can’t have months like January all the time btw, just pointing out the difference in quality.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner to be fair May had “Redfall” and April had Minecraft Legends. I get Redfall was a bust but they didn’t know it would just when they lined up may.

Waiting for some AAA/AA drops with a decent metacritic score.

Apart from that also got my eye on when Eiyuden Chronicle 100 Heroes comes out.

Slayers X looks amazing. As a big fan of what Hypnospace Outlaw was trying to do, I can't wait to check it out!

Not the best 1/2 month for me but still have plenty on Game Pass + totk to stay busy. Guessing a couple big 2nd 1/2 surprises are on the way.

I feel quite bad to say this after some positive statements, but to me, the list sucks more than the best vacuum cleaner
