It's completely understandable.
Xbox doesn't have an identity anymore. Nintendo has a handheld that turns into a TV console.
Sony has a controller with great features like the mic that my friends always complain my controller can't do.
While Xbox is just a PC that plays games on a tv, there is nothing interesting about it.

The refresh for Xbox will probably just be a controller. I expect a newfangled one with gyros.

This should be on Xbox Game Pass to make up for the other Warhammer game that was promised but never happened.

I think we'll see it in September instead of Starfield.
Next month we'll learn that Starfeild will be delayed again. They'll use 60fps as an excuse for the delay, saying that they learned what gamers want with the release of Redfall, despite of course knowing that gamers want 60fps for new games that run on a console with that capability.

I'm starting to think they make these lame games on purpose. What they really sell is hype.
But when you take a step back and look at what they offer, it's not much. A plain game console with no gyro controllers, no VR, nothing really special.

As long as it keeps people subbed to GP till the next big game, that's all that matters.
It doesn't even need to be good, just hyped.

You have a background screen and radial menus. The left stick chooses the section, and the right stick chooses the game within that selection.
That's how I'd do it.

Ubisoft is all over the place and very unorganized. I'll be surprised if they even stay with this name.

It looks nice but I don't think I could invest my time into another Ubisoft F2P after they killed off Hyper Scape.

I hope we get some more good games this month, especially to make up for Tetris leaving.

Also, are all the Ubisoft games leaving?

Paying for this would encourage other publishers to make similar services at prices like this.
Then GP will be segmented up like Amazon Prime Video.

@RIghteousNixon QB is a Xbox Games Studio game, which we were lead to believe were permanent to the GP service.
But after doing some research, I found out it's due to poor journalism that we have this MYTH in the community.
Xbox has never at any point in time said that first party Xbox Game Studios games are permanent on Xbox Game Pass.

Sounds exactly like what they already have, and no one cares about.

So Microsoft lied to us about keeping 1st party games on GP.
It's not a huge deal now, but it could be when you've bought DLC for a game, and then they take it off.
If Quantum Break actually does go off GP, I'll think twice about buying DLC for MS games.

Also, Diablo 4 should be on Game Pass after the deal, but Blizzard said that won't be happening. Yet still people think the deal is somehow good for gamers.

@NEStalgia No. A better example is it's like an RPG. The cards are character sheets or Pokemon that you trade.
So on the surface they're sports games, but they have a meta game RPG tied to them , if you wanna play that way.

It can be fun to draft your team from a pool, and then try to do trades for other cards.
But I personally don't see the fun in actually spending money on those cards since they have no real value, and sports games are essentially arcade games that require a high level of skill and strategy.

Seems to be actually be worse now.
I used to be able to search for "demos", hit menu, and then I would be able to press a "demos" button to see all the demos.
But now searching "demos" does nothing.

So good job Microsoft, another mismatched less good part of the Xbox ecosystem.

The UI looks nice but I wonder if they fixed the problem where when you spell a game wrong, it cant find it.
It would also be nice if your could search by publisher/developer and keywords like "anime games" or "JRPGs".

I return to BF1943 once in a while, and either it has a super loyal community, or just some cleverly named bots.
It's still fun even though there's not much too it.

Back when GP was putting out a lot of titles, I might have gave this a 7 or 8 in comparison. It would have been a AAA title in a pool of indies.
But how GP is now, it's just another drop in the bucket. A 5 at best.

In 2033 we'll have chips in our heads that let us play the most realistic games, but it will feel a lot like daydreaming.

Because of our need for nostalgia, the most popular game will be a true to life simulation of 2023. You could do anything in it, even go to a website's comment section.

This console generation is a joke. I still haven't upgraded from Xbox One, and I'm pretty certain I'll be skipping this gen.

Xbox is trying to drop it's carbon footprint with their new update, so it's inevitable that there will be no more physical copies of games in the coming years.

For some reason I can't get this game to run.
I've rebooted the Xbox, other games work fine. I guess I have to reinstall it.
