I don't have many words tbh. None of this is decent enough for the next year.

All these stories saying "E3 is cancelled" it was cancelled 3 years ago. When the last show (expo) was done, E3 was finished for good.

Surely the playerbase can't be there. Wouldn't it be best to just hold fire on anymore updates and just focus on a new property..

I don't see a comparison here tbh, both games will do very well. But. The potter franchise does have quite a huge fanbase, so loyal gamers and casuals will indeed be looking at buying it. Games like that always do well due to the nature. Unfortunately we haven't seen starfield in action as of yet, but previous Bethesda games are genuinely well received so I can't see this being different.

Either way, both will sell very well and the only winners here are us gamers.

Seen a few videos on YouTube, and in all honesty looks no difference. Obviously some things need to be seen without compression, so I will check it out on the PS5, but I'm not holding my breath.

Christ! Never expected that. We will see though, I heard the orgs started to wind down on E3 years ago due to finances. I can understand making it all digital but previous Devs departures do make it difficult for them to contend.

@Grumblevolcano E3 was cancelled a long while ago unfortunately, we will just be seeing various streams from publishers.

@The_Pixel_King looks like it could be cheaper, it's 8.75 for the story on the ps5 (online is free) so I'd guess it could be around £20 all in on the Xbox.

50% off... Probably £30 still. Haha
In all seriousness though, I would imagine it's going to be around £25 for both parts.

Forza is definitely my go to for racing. Great series, saying that, I'm having a good time with GT7. Definitely the best in the series for quite a while now.

None of these games are particularly comparable tbh, if you want to play GT7 then it's likely you don't want an arcade racer. Asetto it's definitely the most similar of more recent games, but Forza Motorsport is fantastic to play too. So those would probably be my recommendations.

@Medic_Alert I get your point, it's very similar to the original, which isn't totally a bad thing, but when Horizon was originally released, it was a new game and very different from the rest. Unfortunately it's no longer unique as it's already been done. I'm not too far into it, so I can't comment on the story. But the exploration seems similar in most parts.

@Medic_Alert You know what. Whilst Im enjoying both games, I'm 100% with you strangley. It's just a personal opinion, but this setting just sits well with me. That's not saying FW isn't good, as it's very good indeed, but I just love a cyberpunk setting.

While I understand what this guy's saying, I don't particularly agree with him, just because MS are trying to build gamepass up, it doesn't mean we are going to completely become one system.. Microsoft know they can not control everything, fair trade wouldn't allow it either. I genuinely believe Spencer wants people to be able to play all the games they want and how they want, anywhere in the world. His hopeing it will be such a great deal, that people will eventually subscribe even as a secondary console/gaming subscription. He doesn't want people to leave Nintendo and playstation, he wants us to have gamepass as an extra monthly sub. For me, I primarily play on the ps5 now, but I still love Xbox games in general, so my one X is ready to be booted as and when for gamepass. That's what they want.

I think somewhere new, and I do agree with alot of these comments, it needs to be somewhere where stuff like this actually does happen. I can't see them taking it to Asia, I'd bet another US city as that's where the genuinely seem to go. Maybe try and broad the horizons and include various locations, that would technically be the next step.

@Medic_Alert couldn't agree more, I mean it's an okay game, and for the budget they have done a great job, some of the effects are fantastic and the story is ok. It just felt a little lacking. But for the price it was acceptable, I think I paid £22, which is more than reasonable for what you get.

@JudaiMasters while I semi agree, let's not forget all of these companies are only in this game for one thing and that's the money. It wasnt so long ago Microsoft tried to make everything digital, which is ironically how they are heading now. It's just got a different face. But it's still the same product they envisoned when they announced the Xbox one. Gaming is unfortunately changing (as digital media in general has) with netflix, Disney e.c.t

I don't think any company is consumer friendly really, on the face of it yes, but deep down it's about the profits.

Personally, they have allways been competitors to me. But Microsofts path is changing, I'll give it another generation and I can anything but guarantee that gamepass will be available on PlayStation and Nintendo. Xbox consoles can stop being made (saving Microsoft the notes) which then inevitably all those users will flock to the places they can use it. Realistically.. this approach could even benefit the likes of Sony and Nintendo. (I could be wrong haha)

This has really been cancelled for years, but as covid has been around they have managed to keep it going digitally. Exhibitions in general are still going ahead, so this isn't an audience issue but more of general issue. Why would exhibitors pay 30k plus for stand space when they can stream it live for less.

In all honesty, you can go and buy a one x for less and that brings you into the ecosystem. Not missing out on much at the moment. Personally I would save and wait for the series x

Ah now I understand. These big games can be free on gamepass, but the DLC is going to be expensive. That's how they will make the extra revenue. I suppose this was to be expected.

@NotoriousWhiz I don't think we would even need to share our details with the world, it's more of the point.. My name is attached to my account and Microsoft can see all my information. That way they know who to report me to. I know it's not that simple, like data hacks could cause a huge issue, but I agree, I think it's time.

Unfortunately still very common, one of the reasons I too don't use a headset, I know these companies out there feel like they cannot tackle this issue, but it's mainly as they don't want to. They know what needs to be done for this kind of abuse and also just generic internet abuse, but that would reduce revenue. I.e when you sign up you have to sign up with identification. A driver's licence. That way people cannot hide through VPNs and fake personas.

Loved the originals, but damn this game wasnt good. And I was another who got it through plus. I honestly would not waste your money.

I very rarely play online tbh, but with a game like this I think it's required. However they shouldn't be blocking anyone that desires to play solo with bots.

Most are really pretty terrible. I've played the majority but I can't remember too much of any of them. Goldeneye is still the GOAT for 007, but I can remember Quantum playing pretty decent. I'm sure it was made by the call of duty team.

Alot of people will get confused by this, especially the parents of children who don't have a clue. They need to resolve this.. I know they want to keep the green, but it might be best to opt for another colour to make things completely obvious, maybe go back to the original black.

You do realise this game was being developed prior to the Xbox buyout? Xbox didn't produce this game, Arkane did. They deserve the acolade not Microsoft.. irregardless of where the game is platformed first, don't make it out that Microsoft have created an amazing game.. haha

Prey is definitely underatted, my favourite of these by a long shot. Good size, not too big and just in general very good.

Surley this was obvious!? I could of told you this months ago. With the placement of exhibitors taking their own route for announcements and the organiser charging 1000's for a space, it's no wonder they are cancelling. It's no longer a beneficial factor for companies, it's just not appealing anymore.

@Kefka2589 couldn't agree more with you mate! It's very hard to see how miles will turn out, they have stated it would be a smaller 10hr game. But.. sometimes things can be amazing in small packages. Who knows!

Shame about this tbh, was hoping to have it ready with the ps5, oh well. Either way I'm sure once it's released it will be an ace game! Plenty of Xbox and ps5 games to keep me entertained.

Has it? Christ. I thought that the Xbox fairy's was going to be delivering it, never knew it was going into warehouses.

Much better launch line up than the series X, I voted Ryse, very underated game. Still holds up really well today and still looks better than some newer released games. Black Flag was also very good.

Well the jump to 4K was worthwhile, the quality on the TV is miles better and much better on my eyes, even standard non 4k games and TV shows look better. As people have said though, 8K at the moment doesn't really matter too much on smaller screens, our eyes really wouldn't benefit.

@NEStalgia my whole post is about the dedicated fans of Xbox.

Terrible decision in the first place in my opinion. I understand they are trying to make game pass viable and transferable across all platforms, but let's face it. Halo is a system seller, to make the One X a must buy, they need the true supporters to part with their cash and upgrade, the true supporters of Xbox don't care about game pass really, we care about the games we have invested in and those brands we love - Halo being the daddy of all games on the Xbox, you need to keep those happy, and the ones that parted way to the PS4 to remember what it's all about. Holding it back to this current generation only shows you only care about the money on game pass and not those true supporters who have kept Xbox going all those years.

Basically everything that can be played on the one. I don't see how the series X can be a tempting purchase. It's a shame as I've always been Xbox through and through, but I'm losing interest greatly.

Looks like my X will be gathering dust for a few extra months.

@Tharsman kind of my point. They left due to this but yet considered signing back with them.

I think we can expect Halo and Forza for sure. And then possibly the 2 big rumors of Fable and Perfect Dark.. then smaller indie games. I think that would be perfectly enough! Save the other studios work for the next event and headline that with Hellblade 2.
