Xbox Engineer Hints At More 'Fun Surprises' And Features Based On Fan Feedback

We've seen lots of new Xbox features rolling out across console and beyond over the past few weeks, and earlier in April, Xbox boss Asha Sharma revealed that a new team dedicated to fan feedback had been created as well.

Last night, Xbox engineering lead Eden Marie revealed that she's part of this fan feedback team, and that they have been adding to their internal roadmap of planned features. Some of the stuff that's been suggested was already on there, but other bits and pieces are "brand new to us", and there are also some "fun surprises" in the works.

Here's a look at what she had to say:

Understandably, Marie isn't keen to share any specifics yet, but it certainly sounds as though there's a lot more to come in terms of console updates (and for other devices) throughout 2026, which is something we're very glad to see.

What's less certain is where this feedback is actually coming from. Are we talking about the responses to Sharma's initial tweet regarding fan feedback? Reports from Xbox Insider members? The comments sections on Pure Xbox? Hopefully they're monitoring lots of different sources in order to figure out the most highly-requested features.

And with that said, what are you hoping is on the internal roadmap right now? Let us know down in the comments!
