Ready for more Starfield? The game is getting its first (and probably biggest) major update of 2026 this week with the arrival of the Free Lanes and Terran Armada content, the former of which is free and the latter of which is paid.

Back in March, we covered the specifics of this content in more detail elsewhere on Pure Xbox:

So, what are the release times? Bethesda has now revealed the full set of global times for both the Free Lanes and Terran Armada update across all platforms including Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

You can see them all in the image below, which translates to a release date of April 7th (2026) and a release time of 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST.

Starfield's Huge Update Arrives On Xbox This Week, And Here Are The Release Times 2

At that point, you should notice a pretty sizable update going live for Starfield on your Xbox Series X, Series S, PC or even PS5, at which point you'll be able to jump back in and check out all the Free Lanes content at no extra cost.

If you want the expansion, Terran Armada will be an extra $10 on the Xbox Store, or you'll actually get it for free if you already own either the Starfield Premium Edition or the Starfield Premium Upgrade targeted at Game Pass members.

Fingers crossed this ends up being a great update - we're excited to jump back into Starfield on Tuesday!
