Based On Previous Years, Here's When The Xbox Spring Sale 2026 Should Begin

With Steam hosting its big Spring Sale right now (featuring multiple Xbox Game Studios titles), it's no surprise that questions are starting to be asked about the Xbox Spring Sale 2026, which is set to begin in the near future.

The official date of the sale hasn't been announced at the time of writing, but it should be just a few weeks away at this point, so we've provided some educated guesses down below for when we think it might be available.

When Is The Xbox Spring Sale 2026?

Based on previous years, the Xbox Spring Sale 2026 should begin somewhere around April 3rd, April 10th or April 17th. These all fall on a Friday, which is the traditional start day for the Spring Sale aside from last year (which began on a Thursday), and it's entirely possible that we'll be looking at the first week of the month for it.

Based on last year's version, we could be getting over 1000 discounts during the Xbox Spring Sale 2026, including many major AAA releases. There was also a "Sneak Preview" Spring Sale event that began over a week early (on April 8th) for Xbox Game Pass members in 2025, featuring 400+ discounts before the full sale went live.

It shouldn't be long until the sale kicks off, then, but don't forget that the Xbox Store is constantly adding new deals, including a new Square Enix Publisher Sale that features the lowest Xbox price so far for Final Fantasy 7 Remake!
