@Fiendish-Beaver I wouldn't be bothered at all about having to wait for stuff, if everything game to premium eventually... would be a no-brainer for me.

I don’t know why I bother to buy these games new. I should save my money instead of being a day one supporter.

@Fiendish-Beaver I don’t think every game comes to premium, does it? If so, it’s definitely the tier to get! If everything came to premium eventually I’d definitely switch.

Disco Elysium, and LaD infinite wealth are both great, but I already have them, and they’re pretty cheap now!

Why do I play Xbox studio games when they’re new? They’re always better a year or two later. Or three or whatever this is now.

Xbox 2… It’s a totally new start. It’s a sequel to all previous Xbox units.

Kinda weird to call cyberpunk an “Xbox rpg” when it’s on every platform known to man. By that token it’s also a Nintendo RPG, a PlayStation rpg…

The only one I care about is echo generation 2. Cool that it’s the game pass one. I wonder if the first game will hit game pass too, or if I need to drop $10 while it’s on sale? Or maybe I should try the demo of the second one first in case I hate it.

Seems so good it might be worth skipping the first two and just playing this one. Not sure I’d be able to go back to the first two after playing this one tho.

I’d like to drop to premium since I don’t really care about day 1 releases. I can wait, and games are usually better a year later anyway.

But it seems like there are some games that don’t come to premium, and I like the extra rewards points for ultimate. But is it ultimately worth it?? I guess I’ll have to pay more attention.

I still haven’t played blue prince and I’m not sure I can play it in two weeks… so I hope it’s not that one! Would like to give Clair obscur a replay too.

Sheesh. I was getting about $20 per month. I guess if this adds up to 500, I’ll probably be getting more like $15 per month.

Game pass and rewards are the main reasons I’m on Xbox instead of ps5. They keep increasing the game pass price and reducing the rewards lol

I had a hard time getting into the first one, but that may have been a me problem. Will probably give this one a try too.

@Tasuki FFIV changed gaming forever. It is just now starting to get some of the credit it deserves, 35 years later. Had to check my math… jeez.

Nice month for me. All three are must plays for me, and ff3 is the only one I actually own. Never would have thought the pixel remasters would end up on there.

Glad I procrastinated and never bought kcd2 or minishoot adventures.

Game pass is great if you have wide tastes, and don’t buy and hoard everything you want to play. If you only buy what you’re reasonably going to play new or in sales, stuff you miss and want to play often comes to game pass. It pays to wait.

@Fiendish-Beaver I agree with what you’re saying here. But one can only play so many games. If one only buys what one is going to play right away, eventually some of the stuff you miss (or will play anyway) ends up on game pass. I’m quite happily playing dragon quest 7 (which will probably never be on game pass), but I never got around to buying or playing either kingdom come game or cyberpunk. I’d definitely like to play all three now that they’re on game pass, but I’m not even sure I can play all three in a year.

Cyberpunk is cool, but jeez, how am I gonna play kc:d 1 and 2, plus cyberpunk and phantom liberty all in the next year? Plus the Witcher 3 dlc that is supposedly coming…

They should space the final fantasy releases out a little more. One per month is kind of a fast pace! Wonder if they’ll keep going once the pixel remasters are all on there and starting to leave 6 months later. Ff7, 8, 9, 10…?

Kinda reminds me why I decided to never buy dlc unless it’s a game I’m currently playing and loving and want more…

I don’t care about marathon actually, but what a week, since I’m really excited to try Anno, and I’ve been meaning to play sinking city and Atari 50 forever! Hope to try out all three for an hour or so each.

That’s seems pretty good for ninja gaiden given it’s a 2d game.

I don’t care about brands. I like good games, nerdy ones, and I like the best place to play them that works well for me. Game pass and Microsoft rewards made Xbox work for me this generation.

Of course, in good faith, that doesn’t mean she’s not a gamer. Seems like… maybe she is.

Too much other stuff to play! If I wanted to play an ubislop game, it would probably be an assassins creed.

I’ve given up on waiting for an affordable, wireless 3rd party Xbox controller. Back to playing wired on my series x like it’s 1990.

Lot of cool stuff here. Wish more of it was coming to game pass, or at least had demos (and that new demos were sorted at the top of the list like they used to be)

I’ll enjoy the gap in releases surrounding gta6. I’m in no hurry to play it tho. Wait a year and it’ll probably be a better game.

I did play gta5 on ps3 day 1… and I coulda waited for ps4, ps5, or series x and had a better experience.

@IronCrow86 Basically, Activision bought up a bunch of stuff, and then Microsoft bought Activision. Activision always had Zork/etc from their early days. Sierra On-line etc was purchased by activision too. On the other hand, I feel like Commander Keen is id software, which is... also owned by Microsoft... if you meant that. I can't remember who owns Duke, Crystal Caves, etc anymore, but if it's not under the Microsoft umbrella, it won't be in this collection.
