@Tasuki Right, I realize it's Final Fantasy 1 in its entirety, but it's not the whole Pixel Remaster set of 1-6 in its entirety, so it's a "demo" in the sense that you can play (less than) 1/6th of the entirety of the Pixel Remasters.

Final fantasy 1 is a good edition. If people like it, they’ll buy the whole pixel remaster set. Wish sq-en would put more stuff on there like that.

@K1LLEGAL yep I get it. I also dislike playing a demo for a game that I won’t play until some unspecified distant time (whether a month or more). If I played this demo now, and played the full game when it came out (or more likely later), I’d just end up starting over because I wouldn’t remember what I was doing.

Nice. I’m already planning to buy it, so I’m not sure I need a demo. But I want the extra costume??

I wish they’d make an affordable wireless one that works with series x. I don’t need a pro level controller. I just need one as good as the wired 8bitdo, but wireless on console and not just PC.

I was aware of it, and it’s on my list for sure, but there are just so many games! This is one I’d hope might end up on game pass if I wait long enough. Which I know isn’t good to do, but, again, too many games…!

We do tend to skew fairly average for interests here in the pure Xbox readership, tho, yes. Hard to get people to broaden their horizons.

I don’t actually remember. I’d have to look back at my history.

I did finish baldurs gate 3 a second time (started December 2024 tho), and I definitely finished avowed.

Oh! And botany manor, open roads, and thirsty suitors.

I’ve also kind of decided it’s ok if I fall off a game, even if it’s at the end. Otherwise I beat myself up about never going back. But if it’s been months it’s difficult to get back into a game unless I start it over.

Lost records: bloom and rage for me so far. I’d like to get to some other game pass stuff too, like dungeons of hinterberg.

I also live in fear of warhammer 40k rogue trader leaving game pass. Hoping it gets another year.

I feel bad voting when I haven’t played keeper or outer worlds 2 yet. But I did really enjoy avowed, despite some filler content.

@ilyn that’s exactly what happened with oblivion in 2006 and people loved that. Bethesda hasn’t changed much. Gaming has.

Yeah, Skyrim was 2011, so there’s gonna be like a 20 year gap. 😆 technology has definitely changed. Skyrims lead platform was Xbox 360, same as 2006’s oblivion.

It would take a miracle to get 6 out before 2030.

@somnambulance I agree with you 100%. It’s just hard and impossible to support everything. Even with game pass games, I try to support by playing stuff as early as I can. But this is one I haven’t played yet, even tho I wanted to.

That’s so sad to hear. I’ve been meaning to play it since it launched and is on gamepass. But sometimes there’s too much to play and I can’t get to everything. I wish that didn’t result in games being “failures”.

Wish there were some decent deals for people that are already subscribed. Mine is up in March and I want to stack some cheap renewals.

But I don’t have any hope for that really. Not expecting to like it any more than I did the first (which was not much)

Hey nice. I just bought this at the discount price. I wasn’t sure if it was optimized for series x or not. Glad to see it is! I’ve had it on pc for ages, but I’d rather play it on console like I did BG3!
