These Are The Top 25 'XBOX Player Voice' Requests After One Week

Back at the start of the week, we were introduced to a brand-new fan feedback program from Microsoft known as XBOX Player Voice, and we initially highlighted the top 10 requests after just one day of it being live.

At the time, exclusives was in first place, followed by backwards compatibility and free online multiplayer.

So, how have things changed after one week? There have definitely been some shifts in the top 10 (although exclusives remain at the top of the leaderboard), and there's some interesting stuff to find beyond the top 10 as well.

We've also had our first implementation already! After sitting in ninth place going into Friday, a request about switching playtime from days to total hours was officially turned into a feature by Xbox.

Now that we're on Sunday, let's take a look at the top 25 XBOX Player Voice requests after one week!

  1. Exclusives
  2. Make online multiplayer free to access
  3. New backwards compatibility additions
  4. Xbox Game Pass Family Plan
  5. Achievement improvements
  6. Allow disc-based games with Project Helix
  7. Bigger focus on Brazil
  8. Return of Xbox Avatars
  9. Change playtime from "days" to "hours" (Now added!)
  10. HDR Dashboard
  11. Expand Xbox Play Anywhere for older games
  12. Reinstate the FPS Boost program
  13. Arabic Localisation
  14. Reward for 100% completing a game
  15. Remove ads from the home screen
  16. Add a Ukranian console region
  17. Lower the price of the systems

  19. Helix Disc Drive / Backwards Compatibility

  22. Allow Xbox to record voice chat in clips
  23. Cancel PS5 games, bring back exclusives now!
  24. Make Xbox Game Pass a modular service
  25. Ditch age verification

As we've mentioned before, there's no guarantee that anything more on this list will be implemented — the XBOX Player Voice system is simply meant to track the biggest requests, regardless of whether or not they're ever acted upon.

There are some things here that are unlikely to make business sense for Microsoft, such as cancelling PS5 games, ditching age verification and making online multiplayer totally free, but others seem much more realistic such as the return of Xbox backwards compatibility titles and features like an HDR dashboard and achievement improvements.

Let's wait and see what happens, shall we? In the meantime, you can go and vote for your requests over on the official XBOX Player Voice website, and we'll obviously continue to let you know when new features are implemented!
