I would have been interested in a portable series s. But I don’t want a rog ally that streams cloud games. Oh well. Sounds interesting tho. Maybe I just don’t understand the concept yet.

The next Xbox console is going to incorporate a ton of AI… Microsoft is all about AI now. What it will be used for, we shall see. Game guide and copilot for sure, maybe more, maybe on device or cloud. Probably both.

That would be my preference, actually, all of the above. Of course we have no idea, but if the above speculation holds true, that’s not just what I want but what the market wants. Anyway, Xbox has always been the most PC-like console from the first generation onward.

Hey, some of these games just recently entered the standard tier, so it doesn’t really make sense for them to suddenly leave…

Zero interest in any of this personally. I sometimes feel like game pass has changed since the activision merge, but maybe it’s in my head.

Eiyuden might not leave considering it has dlc coming. If it does leave I guess I’ll skip the dlc. I got bogged down recruiting everyone (my own fault), and the spinning dungeon almost made me quit. Forced me to use a guide.

I wish 8bitdo or someone would make an affordable budget wireless one. I’ve been using a wired 8bitdo ever since my Xbox one controller started drifting

@FraserG I’m old asf so it seems like it just left to me. 😝 not that I’m not happy to see games come back. I was only able to play it on its way out last time.

Part of the way these games work is changing the context so often that many people never realize how shallow each little bit is. Or at least that’s how I felt about a way out and it takes two. This could be entirely different. But it says something about the attention span of many modern games (or lack thereof).

I had fun with A Way Out partially because of how laughably bad parts were, and It Takes 2 felt like a marvel movie of a game to me, trying to be everything for everyone. Maybe they’ve nailed it this time. If it’s not on game pass I’ll never know tho!

Mullet Madjack might be cool.

Kinda hard to get excited about games from 2017 sometimes (Gungeon), but I’ll try it; or Monster Train when it’s already been on there before…

I hope they pull it off. Big deal for game pass if so. Turn based rpgs aren’t the most common genre on there.

@Cakefish yeah game pass is a dlc machine. It’s odd they’d remove it with dlc on the way. On the other hand, it can prevent sales on dlc when something is on game pass. Won’t be seeing a sale on the rogue trader dlc anytime soon for instance!

So Sega is just divesting from game pass entirely to do their own service? I need to figure out what dates the other games arrived so I can assume when they’re leaving. I think yakuza 7 was a june addition, so I guess it’ll leave this June…

@carlos82 I think they might be on gog. They were super advanced at the time. If I recall, Skynet was more multiplayer focused. I just had the future shock demo

@carlos82 Bethesda made a couple decent terminator DOS games! They were actually the first true 3D games ever tho 😆 future shock and skynet. Elder scrolls 2: Daggerfall used the same 3D engine in 1996.

I guess that probably was bad advice. But BioWare was certainly plenty good at screwing their own stuff up from the beginning too.

I want them to do something with all the IPs they’ve acquired and just hoard and don’t even know they have, like the old Sierra games for one. The infocom text adventures are another example; they could easily release those on pc game pass.

Id like to see new stuff and new IPs. They have so many amazing developers with so many rpgs and adventure games under their belts. Not to mention they own tons of old IPs of the 80s and 90s like all the Sierra IPs.

They all look interesting. I’ve had my eye on wheel world for a while.

I really enjoyed the first Moonlighter as well and am happy to see the sequel coming to Game Pass.

It's tough; I sometimes will buy stuff I want to support, which I did with Balatro. But if I'd waited, I'd have gotten it on Game Pass! Meanwhile, I was hoping for Animal Well, and no dice there

I hope lots of people will play Balatro here, though, which is also a great way to support both it, Game Pass, and more indie games on the service.

They should follow up with not just avowed 2, but with pillars of eternity 3 in full turn-based mode, and bill it as Microsoft’s version of baldurs gate 3. And do that, but in their own way. They have the exposure now, and Microsoft should support and invite this.

Kind of irrelevant to some extent given it’s a free to play family friendly mmo…

@Kaloudz with all the progress we’ve made with accessibility settings in games, you’d think an anti-seizure mode would be on people’s minds! It’s well known enough to have warnings, so why not more?

@Kaloudz jeez. Hang in there buddy. I saw that seizure warning and wondered wth that was about. Guess they weren’t kidding. That sucks! They need a no seizure mode.

Avowed has really exceeded my expectations. It reminds me of how RPGs used to be in a lot of ways.

I’m also finishing up thirsty suitors, which has been charming and endearing, and moving on to dungeons of hinterberg.

That’s a big increase. 17k is nearly all the points I make in a month.

owlcats stuff is up there with some of the best CRPGs of all time. Other than larian there aren’t many who can compete.

The first two areas were great, but the third area was a mess. Hope it’s fixed now. Lucky for people who’ve held off!

Psyched for rogue trader, but I just finished a second playthrough of bg3, and I’m busy with avowed now. I might wait until the second rogue trader dlc drops, get the season pass, and have at it.

Too bad the season pass won’t be $15 again since the main game is on gp!

Happy to see success for obsidian and for an rpg. I wish it would result in some more traditional rpgs too.

No small feat for avowed to sell so well since it’s on game pass too. I’d rather buy a month of game pass than a full game personally!

If I have to pay real money (or rewards points!), I’ll wait for the mainline, turn-based games. I’d have played this on game pass tho.

It’s the only gears game I’ve ever liked. They did a good job

@Nintendo4Sonic They used to! Tons of Sega and Atlus games have been on there. But that might be over now. Sega seems to want to do their own subscription service (ick)
