Re: Here's The Final List Of Xbox 360 Store Sales Ahead Of July 29th

NicolausCamp

I've been trying to buy stuff from the marketplace, but for some of the titles, the site just locks in a sort of loading animation whenI've chosen my credit card. I've tried different browsers, but it's the same in all of them.
Thing is, SOME of the games work just fine to buy. I did get Exit 2. Choplifter HD or the Meteos Wars DLC however just don't work, I can't pay, which is frustrating, but oh well. I have most of what I want...

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox 360 Tomb Raider Games Is The Best?

I'd highly recommend the 360 version of Underworld for anyone who hasn't played them, as I believe it's still the only version that has the two DLC-episodes, which both are good! Therefore making Underworld 360 the definitive edition of the game, just like how the console version of Prince of Persia beats the PC version as it has the exclusive epilogue DLC.

I LOVED this section, but it also freaked me out. The combination of the fetus' laughter, crying combined with those eerie monster sounds made me so uneasy. The feeling of helplessness and the nightmarish design of the baby almost gave me a panic attack.
But considering I seldom scare, this one really got me, and that gets a thumbs up from me. Job well done!

Re: These 13 Games Are Getting FPS Boosts On Xbox Series X

@stancratcha5 They're getting more and more common, and this is a great way of future-proofing games for when the adoption rate gets higher, insuring that consumers will have a plethora of supported games to play.
But yes, I'd also like to see more 60FPS games. Maybe in the next update...

Re: Soapbox: Even The Terrible Games Have Some Good In Them

RE6 is a good game, and even a good Resident Evil game, and I will stand by that until the day I die.
Sure, it tries to do a bit too much of everything, making it a "jack of all trades, master of none", but it still is really fun, especially on modern consoles. The 360/PS3 couldn't really handle the game the way it was meant to be played.

Re: Talking Point: Should Xbox Continue Its Games With Gold Initiative?

In a way, it feels like Sony realizes they can't compete with Game Pass, so they're putting everything they've got into PS+ instead. These last few months have had some great exclusives on PS+, while Xbox are trucking along as usual with GWG. And to think they wanted to raise te price. Good thing they backtracked on that immediately...

@Dezzy70 You do know that new people discover gaming each and every day, yeah? Giving them an opportunity to explore the legacy of what's come before, and giving them a better experience than what was possible back then I find really awesome! Or for someone like me who still has a huge backlog. Getting to go through that while at the same time getting a better-looking experience is really just a cherry on top!
Also, Microsoft have invested HEAVILY in new studio acquisitions, and all of them are working full-time to bring out NEW gaming experiences as well. You know, that thing YOU want.
Also, this doesn't take any time from the developers at all. This is Microsoft's backwards compatibility team doing this, and you want what, to put these people into game development when that is clearly not their area of expertise?
Also, we're in the middle of a pandemic. OF COURSE it will be a while before new games show up all things considered.
Your comment doesn't really make a ton of sense. Microsoft is investing heavily in new experiences AND also working to make legacy gaming better for all. One does not negate the other, and I think it's incredible that we're getting both.
