Microsoft has officially announced April 2021's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at four more games we'll be able to play at no extra charge with our Gold memberships next month.
In case you missed it, the games are Xbox One titles Vikings: Wolves of Midgard and Truck Racing Championship, along with Xbox 360 (backwards compatible) games Dark Void and Hard Corps: Uprising.
The first games will be made available as soon as this week (very likely tomorrow), so we want to know how you feel about next month's selection, as well as which title you're most looking forward to below.

Luckily I don't use Gold as I'd be dissapointed with the extra payment going towards these games, they need to get rid of gold and make all online free and have gamepass as the only paid subscription
I don't even claim games with gold anymore, Microsoft should just add them to gamepass
It's hard for me to say "this is bad" when you consider the value you're getting with GamePass. Like, I'm not upset or anything. It just is what it is.
Dark Void is actually way underrated. People should give it a shot!
I have GPU so these extra freebies are always a plus. Not sure if I'll ever play the majority of them but there have been a few gems in there. I have little nightmares to play, kids are loving Lego Indiana Jones and I'm digging mowing down wave's of llamas in the Lama Apocalypse game. If they get rid of GwG and it prevents GPU going up in price for a few extra years I'd take it....it's really just a bonus perk vs a selling point for me.

They need to get rid of Gold or start giving some decent games out.
Compared to the PS+ offerings, these are bargain bin!
63% (at time of writing) are NOT happy - that's 121 of 192 people and 39% of 137 (53 people) are not looking forward to ANY game. The official youtube video also has 1.9k dislikes to 1.5k likes - that's about 56% 'dislike' ratio.
Considering the cost of Gold - which is about $10/£7 a month - the 'value' of the games, if you were to buy, exceeds the charge BUT that doesn't necessarily make it 'good' value. For a bit more, you have Game Pass and a bit more, Game Pass Ultimate (which includes Gold). However, on Game Pass, you get AAA games releasing on Day1 and more games a month newly added too.
Just because those games are 'free', it doesn't make them good value. Value is determined by desirability - getting something you actually want for a great price. If you want a ton of Manure for the garden, having that dumped on the driveway for free is great - but if you don't want Manure. It just seems that these games are the 'Manure' of video games - the games that the majority who are 'forced' to Purchase 'Gold' just to get the Full access and Full experience of Games they paid a LOT of money to play. I still think its criminal that you have to pay £50+ for a game and a lot of it cannot be played without a Subscription charge. If the GwG are what 'most' people (you can't please everyone) would actually want to play, it offsets that Subscription charge - if not, it feels more like a kick in teeth...
MS maybe leading the way in more Consumer friendly approach to its gamers, but Live Gold on its own feels worse than PS+. Not saying one is 'better/worse' than the other, but PS+ tends to offer more games I am interested in playing than Xbox. Fortunately, I have GPU otherwise I would be even more disappointed with Gold, feel like I am being Blackmailed into paying just to get full access to the games I bought!
Dark Void is one of the most disappointing game’s I’ve ever played. I played the demo and thought it was good, bought it at release and hated it.

Truck Racing Championship is actually a surprisingly good title, but I can see how it wouldn't be to everyone's taste. Outside of that the 360 titles are interesting, this is definitely better than last month.
To be fair it's not really the games that we're paying for with this service, it's the online play; games and the DWG discounts are just there to add a bit of value. How many folk actually play these games before they dismiss them as garbage?
As others have said, you can't please everyone and if they put super-popular AAA titles on every month or even stuff that was already on Game Pass folk would complain that they were getting stuff they already had, or that they were somehow paying for it twice.
This is not a problem that's exclusive to XBox either; The Nintendo offering on their online service gets a lot of criticism on the forums for lack of games being added (Sometimes months go by with no new games) and for the quality of those games when they do finally get added.
I think Gold might be a bit pointless at this point considering what’s on offer compared to GP
