Re: Starfield Is Launching On Xbox This September, Developer Direct Arriving In June

Krzzystuff

@Somebody they just need to stop shooting themselves in the foot. Absolutely nobody made them do a show and say everything is coming out in the next 12 months....they did that themselves. Likely to kill some bad vibes going around at the time. It's okay to ask a massive corporation to suck a little less you know. I still love my Xbox, still excited for starfield, do believe it's the right move for the game to get extra time, but don't like being mislead still.

Re: Sony Remains 'Extremely Sceptical' Of Reaching ActiBlizz Agreement With Microsoft

Krzzystuff

I do honestly hope that SIE are looking at their own FPS IPs now and seeing what they will start working on as 10 year's is enough time to make a few games. When the deal goes through i hope they still pursue the FTC court hearings with the Sony docs so we see how much they are paying to keep games away from others vs making their own games. They money hatted some turds recently so that's all wasted money.

Re: Starfield Is Launching On Xbox This September, Developer Direct Arriving In June

Krzzystuff

Hopefully the game is great and actually completed but this is yet another self inflicted black eye for Xbox. I do hope that they get their messaging straight as you really can't trust what they say. Until we see the June showcase confirm the September date it's honestly just another placeholder. A company that's trying to get away from crazy crunch culture and release big games can't be announcing release dates unless they are locked in. No more coming I'm 12 months showcases please, we can't believe you.

But I'm likely going to commit my time to playing this so i hope it's awesome

Re: Microsoft And Sony Fail To Make Activision Blizzard Agreement At EU Court Hearing

Krzzystuff

If you bring someone who knows nothing about gaming to look at the situation they will clearly say that this merger is a good move for consumers and the industry. Most companies that dominant an industry get lazy and do the minimum work/risk for biggest buck. It's why ABK basically got all their studios to stop making anything but CoD, why Sony does remakes of remasters and chargers full price plus $10 for fun. They need competition to innovate. Folks want that PS1/PS2 variety back....won't happen without this deal.

Re: Xbox Game Pass Launches Enable 'Secure Success', Says Indie Publisher

Krzzystuff

@StonyKL he could also be saying that knowing that you won't be homeless if your game doesn't sell well allows you to focus on making a great game you want to make? You have to be allowed into the service at the end of the day, so you make a trash game you likely won't be back, it's on their interest to make as good e game as possible.

Re: Xbox Game Pass Launches Enable 'Secure Success', Says Indie Publisher

Krzzystuff

@AlwaysPlaying i both kinda agree and disagree with you lol. I personally love indies and look forward to them more than the big games....and that's all because of gamepass. Before gamepass I would have never played these games - so gamepass allows more Indies to be played. I also only play gamepass so if you're not in there I'm not playing you....but i likely wasn't playing you before gamepass anyways so really not a lost sale from me personally. It's a great deal for me and most of the devs are getting me to play their games when i never would have before so they are benefiting as well. Only one to potentially lose anything is a trillion dollar company that says it's happy as well.

Re: Xbox Game Pass: All Games Coming Soon In February 2023

Krzzystuff

I'm really looking forward to Atomic Heart but I'm definitely feeling like it's going to be a 2-3 patchs post launch kinda game before i look at it. They had to move development (COVID 19 development that is) from Russia due to the sanctions so im expecting this to be coming in rather hot. The graphics and story looked bonkers from the first showing, I'm just waiting for the final product before playing.

Re: Xbox Exec Wants Fans To Keep Developer Direct Expectations In Check

Krzzystuff

Seems like it's a big divide in folks either only expecting what they have said would be at the show or expecting a January E3. I think it's just going to be what they promised with some GP titles announced for February as well. It looks like they will be trying this direct format for 2023 to see if more frequent shows about upcoming launches will work for them like Sony and Nintendo with hopefully a good E3 for initial announcements. I'd rather more frequent shows with some small surprises in them vs just one big show in June.

Re: 343 Industries Unveils Official Statement On The Future Of Halo

Krzzystuff

I really really hope that they learned from the whole debacle that's Halo Infinite. From the fact they didn't know it wasn't in a launchable state until the last show before the launch of the series X, had no content ready post launch to having to actually issue this statement.... this was a massive internal failure. This must have driven changes to how they managed studios surely.

Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2023

Krzzystuff

@Welsh_Will i'm gaming for free from here on in as my current 2 years of GPU is all from rewards points. I put $120 towards my headset and used at least $30 for Xbox credit in the past 2 years as well all from just doing the searches and GPU quests.

Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2023

Krzzystuff

Well I'm officially playing through all of broken age now lol. It was on my play later list and I'm really enjoying it. I didn't do last weeks Dishonoured 2 quest so I won't be committing to all the weekly quests but hoping to do at least 3 of the 250 point quests if possible to rack them points up.

Re: Report: 343 Industries 'Hit Hard' By This Week's Job Cuts At Microsoft

Krzzystuff

Pretty sure infinite isn't going to be a 10 year game. Although at the rate they release content it might just be 1-2 campaign expansions anyways.

Really enjoyed it, still play the multiplayer with my buddies. Going to get them to play co-op campaign. Really hope they can improve it some more still but if not it's still my most played game by long shot.

Re: Starfield 'Possibly' Delayed Out Of Xbox's First Half Of 2023 Release Window

Krzzystuff

@NEStalgia @somebody i personally don't care if it's delayed a bit but they had a show specifically stating what's coming out in the next 12 months and 6 months later changing their tune. They don't have any goodwill to burn so why keep making these mistakes? If you don't have a locked date just keep quiet. Could have just said 2023 but they locked themselves in for 12 months. Not cool.

Re: Rumour: A Potential 'Scalebound' Revival Is Being Spoken Of, Again

Krzzystuff

I wasn't on Xbox when this whole mess started but why are people so horny for this thing? The developers of the game haven't put out anything above mediocre and are going to be bankrupt if they don't get bought out most likely. They basically used MS money for other games is my understanding....why would you work with them again?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 14-15)

Krzzystuff

Fallen order was pretty awesome. I didn't care about getting all the ponchos bit the story was fantastic as were the graphics and combat.

Deaths door was also a fantastic game. Really loved the art style and the music/sound effects was stellar. I would need a second playthrough to get the 100%, i started one, but I just don't have the time to chase achievements vs playing something new.

Lastly i still have to restart and finish hellblade, finished the first level 2 years ago...with guides cuz the puzzles get annoying at times.

I'm trying to finish nobody saves the world but i might be coming up short by the 15th, we'll see how it goes.

Re: Tunic Publisher 'Concerned' About Subscription Services Like Xbox Game Pass

Krzzystuff

@Tharsman full-time job with OT, kids with a ton of activities and a wife who needs time together to get the good stuff....i just don't have time to spend on things i used to do a lot of. So TV consumption has tanked for my shows/movies as I'd rather play given the chance. But i remember rewatching a favorite movie a few times a year....now I'll watch a few movies in a year and mostly kid ones lol.
