Whatever they do i ain't touching it until it's fully patched up. Expect other issues to pop up when it launches so i'm going to say we need 2-3 patches for this to be in a shippable state.

@Total_Weirdo their marketing is a tweet....that's all. They are horrible at it, unless they see that the tweet generates enough interest that spending more on marketing isn't worth it?

I can't understand why folks think new hardware is coming. It's still hard getting chips, better than before, buy still delayed. They haven't pushed the current hardware at all and now you want even more SKUs to develop for. I expect the next hardware release to be the next gen. Only thing that could change with current gen is that they increase the memory for the S, maybe the X.

I still think they have been using Series X chips for the cloud servers. Outside of that they are just sucking ass which is less than ideal to think of lol.

So another game that's being shipped before it's ready then? Not just Xbox, it's an industry standard it seems. But I'll wait until it's patched before I try it.

As someone with limited gaming time i ain't messing around with all these things. Do your job and ship a finished product. It's not ready, don't ship. It's why I never play anything at release, it's never actually ready. Can't tell me they didn't know about the issues.

Haven't checked yet but i was about to get my 2.5K points this week on my son's account abd mine was 2-3 weeks away.... hopefully it's still intact. All they need to do is give folks who lost their streaks like 5K points and all is good.

Update: my streaks are still going. I do hope that they give affected folks free points, it's what it's all about.

If he has a massive hand in season 3 and all the stuff they've done then yeah it might be a hit for Halo. But if this is all the work of the current folks in charge I don't think it's actually anything major. Season 3 has been great but the key will be for them to have a great season 4 in that 90 day window and then have season 5 in another 90 days. They can't have that content drought anymore.

@AlwaysPlaying honestly i don't know what the alternative could possibly be lol. We're well stocked with everything in my area (Switch, PlayStation & S/X) but it does seem they are limited in a lot of areas. You sometimes get that waiting for xcloud server room message so i think they need to bulk it up for post Starfield/ABK influx of users?

And that starfield controller looked pretty awesome so you would think a console is possible. Watch it be the S n not the X lol.

@Dezzy70 there have been reports of limited series x stock for a while and i wonder if they've been redirected to build up the xcloud servers some more and are preparing for a starfield edition console?

I tried playing it last night and it wasn't working already. Hopefully it gets added back sooner rather than later so i can carry on.

I haven't played Fifa in a long long time but just looking at the name and logo does make is seem like a cheaper product.

If it's still the same feel when you play it will be one thing but right now it's not looking as great.

Mind you i expect that the official Fifa game will be a drop in quality as well, they will just have a better logo.

Of all the things I'm looking forward to not hearing about once this ABK is sorted....this man's BS baby crying is definitely top of my list.

Ryse was an amazing game, first thing I played on my series x. They definitely need a second one.

Remember @zunetattooguy that some folks are new to Xbox so a lot of the old games are brand new to them. I still haven't played through any Gears game yet

First one was pretty great so looking forward to this one. You're supposed to be able to cut off limbs and such in this one right? Making it more mature actually makes it more immersive....cuz slashing a dude with a freaking laser blade should leave it's mark.

Current at 98.8% but I have a bunch of games that I've started playing and haven't touched in a while and some I haven't played once yet lol. I just make room as needed, unlimited internet, so it's really not an issue... just a messy room but a console. Quantum Break was almost 90GB so that took a chunk.

I have it installed and ready to go but the random announcement of Quantum Break leaving has sidetracked my intentions

I saw the Quantum Break rumor yesterday so i installed it and started playing as it's been in the backlog for some time now. Finished chapter 1 and gotta say it's a great story. I was caught off guard that it's a legitimate show and game combined but it's good.

I'm curious to see what the first party titles look like and if it is just a case of folks not optimizing for the S. And if that is the case is it because they made it harder for devs to develop for it or is it just a pain because PlayStation is the default console they develop for and then port to Xbox?

I'm not techy so i don't know what goes into making games but I don't see a way that Xbox allows a game to skip the S. Conflicting reports from different devs about their love/hate for the series S. So make it work for both or it skips Xbox entirely. Also i don't think there will be any mid geb upgrades, they will just ride it out until the next gen.

The fact that Summer Games fest is happening a week or two before this just made it redundant. I feel bad for all the folks who were looking forward to this and booked flights/hotels for it. Personally i prefer just checking out the Xbox showcase as I just play gamepass so any announcements outside of it i don't pay attention to. All the other shows throughout the year i just come to pure Xbox to see the highlights and watch any trailers that sound interesting. Annoying that Keighley is in control of some of the biggest showcases as it's all about ad revenue for him in the appearance of putting games first. He also has a clear bias which is why I think Xbox has been showing less big announcements at his shows and just saving it for their own.

@teknium_ EU n CMA are the major one's that need to pass it though so that's why it's not massive news. They already said from the day FTC kinda sorta said no that they will go through without the FTC approval as it's purely political and won't stand in court. It's why the FTC hasn't actually filed an injunction to stop the deal and go to court....they know they going to lose.

I've been buying up GPU time cards for a while now with the rewards points and as a result I'll be gaming for free for the foreseeable future. Have 2 years and 3 months currently.

Witcher 3, anything Lego, some Rayman . Something i can play with the kids and witcher 3 basically

I just rolled credits in High on Life earlier this week and started MWII. On the last mission so hopefully i can get that wrapped up this weekend. Would like to finish the alternate ending in Injustice 2 as well so we'll see if I get around to that.

@Thenewguy haven't played the lone wolf one yet. I usually play with two of my buddies so we do fiesta and now that BTB one. I actually bought the season pass this time around because we always play it so what the hell right? I like that I can go back to prior season passes as well, once i finish this season I'm just getting last season. Since i completed it to lvl 100 already I'm basically just insta unlocking all the premium stuff and another 1,000 credits for next season.

Gonna pimp my Spartan out. The samurai is still my favorite core. The one new one is actually pretty good as well.

@Thenewguy they definitely improved it. It also just being a 3 month season will hopefully help keep it fresh. The new BTB with the crazy weapons and all the vehicles is just good times.

@BlackMayge totally agree it's not a gamepass game but I've been on the approved deal train since day one so I'm envisioning my playtime in Diablo post acquisition. NGL i ain't buying it otherwise as i have a backlog longer than the great Wall of China. If it's not in gamepass it really doesn't exist to me.

I can't wait to play this bad boy in gamepass. I'll make my buddies install it and give co-op a go, will be my first Diablo co-op experience... with a controller too actually. About 90% chance I'm going barbarian at the start as i always seem to go that route. But with coop i might go mage and see how she goes.

I gotta be upfront about the fact that if the game is fun and thy drop some paid Boba Fett character n Kart I'm likely buying it even though I very rarely buy any in game stuff.

This sounds pretty cool if it's actually fun to play. Kids love Mario Kart so if we can get some F2P fun with Disney characters I'm all for it. I just tried that Kart Racer Drift last night and it's decent. The idea of Disney characters in a racer is good.... just make sure it's fun to play .

Folks.... we're just over a month away from this ABK plague being behind us! Hopefully the regulators scramble as some have predicted to be the first to approve it and it's done before April 26th but even it we have to wait for the 26th....the end is near!!! This deal is and always has been great for everyone but the market leader. It's going through, I'm playing Diablo in gamepass, and the price of salt will crash with all the tears being shed in the Sony Pony stables.

No. We haven't had a single game that's utilized the current hardware properly and folks are still saying it's hard to find an X in certain regions. Also xcloud is built upon the series x, they gonna just replace all of that with the new server blades already?

Sony always looked like it would be more likely to do a mod gen upgrade but I don't believe they will be doing that anytime soon either. They also haven't come close to utilizing it's power and are still heavily supporting the PS4.

I'd say in 3 years we might see something new or in Xboxs case they will likely plan to use the cloud to overcome any hardware shortages to extend the life of current hardware.

@Tomato_Goose not adding first party games to a service that boasts day n date for first party would kinda be a bigger deal. How many times have folks bought a 3rd party game only for it to come to gamepass a week later? Buyer beware is how it goes.

They aren't owned by MS so yeah, as an independent company they never had any plans to put this in any subscription. Once first party it will be added like all other first party titles.

Not a lot of News so far this week eh, everyone writing articles about anything they can try n put a negative twist on Xbox. Surprised we haven't seen anything about Xbox actually not being carbon neutral due to employee fart emissions not being taken into consideration.

Benedict Fox looks right up my alley. I'll likely mess about with Minecraft Legends as well as it looked rather interesting in the direct they did.

I don't recall hearing anything about this game until this article.... likely a cause for it shutting down. Unfortunate for the studio and devs but not every game is a hit. Even big studios fail, look at square recently, 8/10 releases are turds.

If anyone hasn't played Titanfall 2 yet you really gotta give it a go. Best FPS campaign I've played, multiplayer was awesome but it's dead now right?

Howard seems to not care about framerate so I'm just assuming it's going to be 30 fps and hopefully we'll get surprised. It will get a lot of grumbling online but the sales will show majority don't care in the end so long as the game is great.
