@The_New_Butler Often early access requires a pre-order. Regardless it is reasonable to think that people can make up their own minds about pre-ordering or waiting... and if they get burned enough they will hopefully learn. I didn't buy BioMutant - one it was not on Gamepass and two it looked too good to be true... I didn't trust the ads. I was right to wait. Oh also I will not spend $60 on a last gen game... I reckon they are worth $40 to me now if they are good. Cyberpunk I would see as a $15 game and Biomutant a $19.

@The_New_Butler Well the game company gets an influx of cash, and the fans get the game they have been clamoring for. Win win.

@GunValkyrie he is basically using GeForce Now. - only thing Sony could do is not put the game on PC. Only question is will the Edge browser suppose GFNow when it is released.

@ymo1965 pretty sure an urban environment is new to Far Cry. Seems to usually be outdoors and small towns. So there are differences. Of course much will be similar or it wouldn’t be Far Cry.

Yes, the install base of next Gen is not enough to justify exclusive.

Far Cry is probably my favorite series. As long as it has some co-op like 5 and 4 I will preorder some time in October. Kinda dig Cuba as the location of choice.

@Stocksy yep I will keep mine. Day one for all MS studio games makes it a lot cheaper than $70 for one game on the PlayStation side of the fence.

Of course. It makes no sense to spend that kind of money and then put your games on the competitors platform.

Battlefield V was a disaster, hopefully they do a better job on both the game and the PR.

LOL. “Before I Forget” sounds more like a movie I don’t want to watch than a game.

Seems obvious that you don't spend $7.5 billion just to have a year exclusivity deal or something, those are much, much cheaper. So yes it will be a GamePass exclusive... which probably means PC and Xbox... but maybe they will be able to stream to other platforms as well. Their streaming service is something new.

@Dezzy70 That is not what he said, as you pointed out that would be obvious. He is saying that these games will be exclusive to GamePass... and leaving the door open for GamePass to come to other platforms like Nintendo and PlayStation... I heard him say once when asked if GamePass would be on the Playstation and his response was "that is more up to Sony".

Downloaded it. Launched it. Square Enix account required. Home. Delete the demo. Buy Divison 2. Happy times.

These are not worth the bandwidth required to download.

With Gamepass there are just more good games than time or space. So yeah I picked up the Seagate expansion and much happier.

Fallout 76. Both Xbox and PC. Addicted.

I would just turn it back on, I like the instant on feature, I want my game updates to download and install without me needing to know. I also see zero difference in my electric bill. So seems like he just likes to hear himself talk.
