Last night was crazy, wasn't it?! All sorts of rumours and reports were flying around about potential Xbox studio closures, with some of the affected companies including Compulsion Games, Ninja Theory and Double Fine.
Nobody said anything from Compulsion or Ninja Theory last night, but we did hear from Double Fine - literally in the form of a single emoji on social media, posted across X/Twitter and BlueSky.

What it does mean? That's anyone's guess. Perhaps it indicates they've found a way forward, or perhaps it indicates that the situation is extremely turbulent... we won't know for sure until Xbox confirms it either way.
They've racked up over 400,000 views and counting with this single emoji though, so clearly there's a large amount of interest in what's going on at Xbox right now. No surprise, really!
