Re: Talking Point: Do You Think Project Helix Will Support Physical Xbox Games?

GuyinPA75

@GeminiX53 Yes! That is the infamous response. You know cause all stuff they have on their hard drives last forevvvvvver. Hard drives never crash, break, corrupt, fail, etc.

Nope. Never.

I paid good money for my home theater setup. I expect to get full value out of it. All digital is basically equivalent buying Lamborghini and only live in school zones.

Re: Talking Point: Do You Think Project Helix Will Support Physical Xbox Games?

GuyinPA75

@GeminiX53 "unlike video games, physical music and film are still very much catered for"

And the quality for physical movies and music is SUPERIOR by leaps and bounds to streaming rubbish.

If want quality and best experience, physical media is the ONLY way to go. Especially with how entertainment is being censored, edited, and/or deleted. The original vision of entertainment is being destroyed and ruined by small percentage of people that really not represent the majority on a good day.

Re: Crimson Desert Comparison Shows Difference Between Xbox Series X And Series S

GuyinPA75

The "selling more" is incredibly weak argument. Taco Bell sells millions every day. It's the epitome of low quality and over priced (just like Series S). Willing bet good money majority of Series S sales were due to game pass people. Which is fine if enjoying lower tier games is your thing. I lost my desire for playing game boy color games over 25-30 years ago. And do not even try the Expedition 33 argument. For every one of them, there are over hundred game boy color level games on game pass. Plus, game pass gets closer to verge of collapse every day due to its unsustainable business model.

Xbox would been absolutely fine this gen without it. Honestly been better off. Lowest common denominator developers would had work with been Series X or PS5. Which resulted in better experience for everyone involved. Mainly game journalism could covered more genres instead of the "Series S is weak sauce or not running game X for this X reasons this week" articles.

So, again, please spare me the Series S sold more rubbish arguments.

Re: Crimson Desert Comparison Shows Difference Between Xbox Series X And Series S

GuyinPA75

@Scrubchub There is no sarcasm. The Series S is mistake, holds Series X (possibly this whole gen) back, has history of technological issues due to Microsoft trying to justify its existence by forcing parity.

If Microsoft is serious about the next console, it will have only one console. None of this multiple console rubbish.

The only thing "wasting time" is the presence of Series S.

Re: Xbox's Starfield Is Already One Of The Top Three Pre-Orders On PS5

GuyinPA75

@fatpunkslim I love Starfield and think it always was a good game.

They're absolutely Xbox haters out there. Just like they're Microsoft haters in tech community. Windows phone, Dial, Band, Zune, Surface just to name few that were hated but were amazing.

Microsoft has made fantastic hardware over the years. And that includes Xbox. Haters going hate.

Re: 'Keep The Feedback Coming' - Xbox Boss Says New Console Features Were Built Two Weeks Ago

GuyinPA75

@TheGameThrifter Not disagree with any of your points. But placing all the blame on Phil is ridiculous. Phil did have a boss at Microsoft that said yea, or nay to all things. That boss allocated budgets and expenses. And that person is Nadella.

Not sure how much into the recent history of Microsoft with nadella you are? But I've been following Microsoft for decades and what is gong on under nadella's "leadership" is an incredible joke. Nadella is putting all Microsoft's eggs into waaaaaaaaay too few baskets. If any those moves tank, Microsoft in world of hurt fast. And the moves that nadella would make (hopefully he's long gone before then) would be even more disastrous. Xbox would be gone in blink of eye.

Re: 'Keep The Feedback Coming' - Xbox Boss Says New Console Features Were Built Two Weeks Ago

GuyinPA75

@TheGameThrifter I'm suggesting (and honestly, stating) under nadella Microsoft is terribly run. He wants zero innovation and ONLY cares about what I shared above.

Still believe nadella chased off panos panay which was massive mistake. Just wait until panos products start releasing from his move to Amazon. Really look for Amazon to be more legit in hardware space. Once remove alexa, Amazon is pretty empty in hardware world. But that's just in my opinion.

Re: Microsoft CEO On Xbox's Future: 'We'll Always Invest In Gaming'

GuyinPA75

@Fiendish-Beaver Yep. I said years ago Game Pass is incredibly flawed and very unsustainable business model and will have to raise the price (still say it hits $45-$50 by end of 2028) if still want it to exist.

I was correct. People laughed at me. I was correct. People made fun of me. I was correct.

Re: Talking Point: Will 'Project Helix' Be A Niche Device, Or An Xbox Console For The Masses?

GuyinPA75

I really think it will be popular console.

But....

That price is going drive it as niche product. And if rumor true third parties be able make less powered systems is MASSIVE turnoff to me. It's just carrying over all the issues and problems of Series S scenarios to next gen. That is another pattern of Microsoft loving to continue with unnecessary self inflicted wounds.

Just make one console. One console to rule then all. Like really. No joke. Stop making it so complicated.
