I'm confused but in good way.

Are people still playing Division 1? The game and franchise is amazing. But Division 1 so old, surprised can find an audience with this release?

Quite sure the delay is due to Nadella trying find way charge $50 a month subscription fee for operating and owning the new console.

Microsoft hardware have tendencies be ahead it's time. He refuses to allow it time to grow and gain following. To this day, my Lumia 950 was the best phone I've ever owned. Windows Phone was the absolute best experience.

If Microsoft Surface wasn't in the cloud and used to push that overrated, overpriced Office 365 garbage, I'm very certain he'd closed that division down.

I've never heard, but I would bet good money, the reason Panos Panay left Microsoft is because of Nadella. Truly wait and see the amazing things Amazon will be putting out since he went there.

@BAMozzy China I can see having lot more cloud gamers, but I think their internet infrastructure is leaps over United States. And Korea I believe it's like mythic level infrastructure.

I do have hard time thinking gamers are "ok" playing in cloud with just "good enough" quality. The cloud is straight garbage. Like playing with insane amount film grain on top of steel wool. Little kids might be ok with it. But majority I have say will be like this crap gives me a headache. No way.

If infrastructure was better in United States (can't speak about other countries) it might have a chance.

But my argument always been, and this goes for majority, I would think. Do really enjoy being all hunched over, fingers hitting each other, playing on 5 inch screen only to wake next day with neck spasms. Or kick back, all stretched out on couch, with a controller, playing on 77 inch OLED TV with surround sound?

I know which one I'll pick everytime and twice on Sunday.

No evidence points to Xbox getting an upgrade. Even state that in your article. And way things are going with Xbox being red headed stepchild, not even getting certain games now. I'm 110% with you in thinking it may get the upgrade. But nothing guaranteed with Xbox anymore.

@swedetrap My argument against the existence of Series S is pretty consistent and no one thus far been able change my mind.

First, it's confusing to the consumer. Not speaking about us, but grandma or other family during Christmas. "I'm here to buy an Xbox for my grandson, Billy, for Christmas." "Sure lady, which one do you want, Series X most powerful and bigger hard drive? Or Series S that does not have disc drive, smaller hard drive, and less processing power, that may not fully play games at their highest available resolution, also you'll probably have purchase $200 expansion card due to lack hard drive space and then have.... Oh my, oh no. Ma'am? Ma'am? Not again. Someone grab her tongue. Hey Bob, it's another one, call 911. Not sure if it's stroke or seizure this time." That example. It's completely unnecessary. Too many consoles. Total unnecessary confusion. Keep it simple. One SKU, one console to rule them all.

Next, forcing developers to keep parity for both consoles an unnecessary headache that ultimately forces developers (by path least resistance or business costs) to support the lowest common denominator, Series S. Which in turn just holds back the Series X from reaching its full potential. And if look at all the issues the Series S had trying run versions of certain games it's been countless stories and issues. Again, completely unnecessary and could been avoided. One SKU, one console to rule them all!

Next, "oh it's cheapest point of entry into Xbox console space." is it? Is it, really? Everything is Xbox now. Not even need buy console. Pretty soon I expect your toilet will be an Xbox. Halo 6. Fall 2032. Play while you poop. Even your colon is an Xbox. So yea, Frodo, just throw that SKU in Mount Doom. No one needs rule anything, anymore, my halfilng buddy.

But Satya Sauron just wants to ruin and destroy Microsoft with stupid ideas and try put everything in the cloud and turn anything possible into an unnecessary, overpriced subscription.

Keep it simple. Xbox just fails understand that now.

Let's review, shall we.

Doing everything possible for people to have less incentive to purchase an Xbox? Check.

Having two consoles with one being extremely unnecessary and splitting the tech specs that forces developers to try appease the lowest common denominator? Check.

Display of pure greed by increasing Game Pass (which already is a grift) to pretty much double the subscription cost? Check.

Watching many people downgrade to Game Pass Essential due to the grift of unnecessarily inflating price of Game Pass? Check.

Allowing Nadella to stay in any position of decision making capacity? Check.

Yea. All the above will not see promising returns or prosperous future. Nope.

Embarrassing to say, but after playing that game, I walked around the house grunting like Hulk. It really made the player feel like Hulk that much.

Out all the rubbish games being remade or remastered, Hulk is very much a missed opportunity and should be next. Or very least a sequel.

List is missing Shadowrun. The best and most balanced shooter game EVER made.

I'd say swap out GTA double pack or Ninja Gaiden for it. Everything else I can agree with.

Honestly not think ever saw that. If that was method Rockstar/Microsoft choose to notify people, got say really poor handling on their part. If never saw your article on this website, never would known there was even upgrade available. So kudos to all at Pure Xbox.

How do you know if have or gotten the upgrade?

I've not gotten the upgrade for my 360 edition yet. Is there a process to correct that? Skimmed thru some articles. Not seen definitive steps for resolution.

This controller is great and all. Hope someone can offer advice on what I'm really, really, really, really, really, really, looking for and never been able to find going back to Playstation 3: an affordable wireless Playstation controller with Xbox layout.

It is the ONLY reason I've not purchased a Playstation to use as a console since PS1. Only one I've ever found was like $600. No way. Not happening.

I absolutely despise the PS controller layout. It's uncomfortable and terrible. Xbox controller is best controller ever made. But way Xbox is going, next gen may be last console, and that breaks my heart as die hard Xbox fan. Plus I would actually like play spider-man and Wolverine. And if the x-men game rumor is true, like play at well.

People complain have no money put aside for retirement or emergencies. But always make sure have new, high end car with every feature possible (what's wrong with Honda Civic?). Look purchase the biggest most excessive over sized beyond their needs house possible. Constantly buying new expensive and brand name clothes. Got have that brand new cell phone every year. No issue pay $1,000+ for new console.

But no money for retirement or emergencies. No impulse control. Definitely no accountability, either.

Motorsport from the very first game on, they NEVER did anything to punish and deter demolition derby on the track.

Did nothing but to chase people away. It is incredible shame.

This is tragic news. Vince made some amazing games. Titanfall 1, have to say is my personal favorite. Such an amazing and very underrated game.

Ultimately they have no one to blame but themselves. In today's gaming world, multiplayer is what gives a game long legs for years.

Turn 10 just refused to address the biggest issues of players ramming each other off the track like it was a demolition derby instead of racing game. This an issue that goes all back to first Forza Motorsport. Every new game, I hope and prayed those players would be addressed and punished severely to stop that behavior.

It never happened. So I only played Forza as single player and after while would find myself taking long breaks from playing. Not having decent multiplayer just did not keep my sustained interest. Even though I really enjoyed the game and thought it was amazing.

I have preached this cautionary tale for years now. All digital is horrible thing.

Yet, the digital brainwashed still not see how all digital is terrible idea. Main reason I buy physical media EVERY possible time I can.
