@Kaloudz Depending on what experience you are looking for. The sci-fi channel mini-series is regarded the most accurate adaptation compared to novel. The David Lynch version I really enjoyed and what changes did make from book really felt like it belonged. Hard to describe. The newest ones are good but mostly geared as spectacle and eye candy.
Plus have to stomach Zendaya. Always thought she is terrible in everything she does.
@Nintendo4Sonic @themightyant I'm going to call malarkey on this.
Developers MAJORITY of the time develop with the lowest common denominator in mind. Thus hindering progress and development when factor in lower benchmarks.
Therefore, the Series S is ABSOLUTELY holding the Series X back.
@ZuneTattooGuy If digital is same price as physical game. Then, yes, it does cost more. Especially when factor in you own nothing. NOTHING. Just a license that could go away for any reason, at any time.
All digital games should be $20 - $30 cheaper than physical.
Bugthesda COMPLETELY relies on modding community to fix their games and support it with content for years and generate income for bugthesda. All while bugthesda does the ABSOLUTE minimum with the game.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Said for years now it's coming. Game pass business model is absolutely not sustainable. At all! If Microsoft wants game pass to exist, they are going increase it to $50+ a month within next 2 - 3 years.
$70 and $80 games just means the chance I ever play the game is now slim. Might play the game year or two after release, if feel like it. I have plenty backlog keep me occupied. $70 and $80 for video game is simply plain ridiculous and pure greed.
And this is coming from someone that has disposable income as just spent $6200 on home theater setup.
Hopefully their greed leads to their downfall and realize how stupid those prices are.
Also wondering if the regular Ally will be severely underpowered compared to Ally X and have constant reports of not being able run games like Xbox Series S?
If they are smart. They will put an extra hundred dollars on top of the original asking price just to help recoup all the money are going to lose by overestimating the "demand" for Xbox handheld.
@Kaloudz Basically it's broken down into levels. You do boring, repetitive, busy work, tasks to earn points that move you up the ladder (or maybe i best to say into another section). Each level you pick an item out that level and move up a level, repeat. Vast majority of good items are paywall locked behind the fallout 76 subscription service.
I will add this is after a revamp they did with seasons. Was even much, much, much, worse before.
Either way it's very time consuming. I was having play miminum 2 hours a night for months to complete a season. And when season ends - it ends. So if miss some days or get really tight. Not going complete the season.
@Joe_Danger Glad you enjoy handheld gaming. But you are one of a very, very, very, minority. All because you enjoy handheld gaming not make me wrong.
If you were in a great majority, the Xbox first party handheld world been released by now. Microsoft knows there is no money to Xbox handheld market.
Nintendo is another story. They are like when you want a burger you go to McDonald's or burger king. Not KFC or Popeye's.
But... an executive that feels the world is exact because in their eyes they like something - so everyone else must too. Guess I've always been correct on more than just Xbox handheld market.
My guess the game would have some thing going with lights and flashing. I could be very wrong about Persona since not played it. Pretty sure is JRPG. I can't stand them for all the annoying... voice work... visuals... characters carrying around 8 ton, 50 swords with ease when they're like 5'2". Don't get me started on how their mouths open large enough swallow a truck in one bite for no reason.
Pretty sure you figured out by now, I can't stand anime and JRPGs. Lol
@Kaloudz Persona is JRPG. If I remember correctly, in one conversations we had together on here, shared have issues with flashing/strobe effect in games?
If that was you, I'd recommend really researching or stay away from that game. JRPGs usually have, exaggerated, unnecessary light patterns in ones, I've played.
@chesheer @themightyant @BAMozzy @Pac_Bot Contraband is just another example of why I continue to stress, over and over, again, any developer not follow The Six Month Rule are foolish and damaging their reputation and throwing sales away.
@IssaBrvndo @Bigmanfan Also I kinda think the movie hindered Red Hulk character from having more.
As much as I loved the Arkham series of games. Hulk Ultimate Destruction is by far the most fun I EVER had playing a superhero game in my life. And I've been playing video games since Atari 2600. Highly doubt we get something like Red Hulk Total Destruction now.
@IssaBrvndo @Bigmanfan My whole thing with the "new" captain America is it really seems Disney wanted get Will Smith for the part and he either declined or he slapped Disney too and said, keep my name out captain America's mouth.
Plus they completely wasted and did poor job with what could been great character in Red Hulk. I still have a the issues when series came out. What a way open a series straight out knocking a Watcher.
Think was issue 22 or 24 until finally revealed Red Hulk identity.
@Fiendish-Beaver Yep. See my post above. Couldn't agree more.
@Balaam_ My thoughts and feelings exactly. Said the same here for years. I was either insulted for it, or blocked by people. It's whatever. Doesn't make it any less true and my predictions any less correct.
@InterceptorAlpha Exactly. Please see my post above.
For starters, the perceived "demand" for Xbox handheld (handhelds, in general) are so super inflated, maybe Microsoft have finally made correct decision for once.
Second, it's no doubt nadella that pulled the plug on the device. All nadella wants is, push anything cloud and anything he can make an unnecessary, overpriced subscription for.
With game pass failing due to majority of games being on quality level of Game boy color games and inevitable HUGE price increases to barely keep afloat. Nadella realized won't be able extort and grift money from customers with handheld. So it's done for now. Definitely for the best.

Re: 2K Not Following Microsoft & Nintendo With $80 Game Prices, For Now
I've looked all over online. It seems there will be no loot box edition for borderlands 4?
I'm really bummed out. Purchased loot box edition for borderlands 2 and 3. Planned on 4.
Re: The Witcher 4 Will Be 'Extremely Challenging' To Run At 60FPS On Xbox Series S
@Lup Yes, people that eat sirloin and never ate filet minion will swear sirloin is most amazing thing ever too.
Re: The Witcher 4 Will Be 'Extremely Challenging' To Run At 60FPS On Xbox Series S
@Ernie Switch 2 framerates probably better than Series S.
Re: The Witcher 4 Will Be 'Extremely Challenging' To Run At 60FPS On Xbox Series S
@Lup "Series S owners know what they bought"
Yes. A mistake. Lol
Re: The Witcher 4 Will Be 'Extremely Challenging' To Run At 60FPS On Xbox Series S
@abe_hikura Yep. The Series S was never legit or relevant. Lol
Unless someone thought the Nintendo Switch graphics were amazing, high tech, cutting edge, and ground breaking.
Re: The Witcher 4 Will Be 'Extremely Challenging' To Run At 60FPS On Xbox Series S
What? Wait?
Yet another article stating the Series S yet again incapable of running yet another game properly.
You don't say?
In other news, water is wet, fire is hot, snow is cold.
Re: ROG Xbox Ally Gets Price & Release Date Info In 'Exclusive' Report
Ridiculous price for something that has battery life of...maybe 3 hours?
Re: PS6 To Provide 'New & Enhanced' Experience As Sony & Microsoft Plan For Next-Gen
@Millionski Don't worry. The $100+ price point for next gen games will allow developers to hire more people.
Re: PS6 To Provide 'New & Enhanced' Experience As Sony & Microsoft Plan For Next-Gen
@FraserG Grammar and critique police.
So very unnecessary. Given no thanks for all work that you do here. So sad.

Hopefully the Xbox edition will include all DLC the PC gets before then.

Really not much doubt for me switch 2 more powerful than Series S lol
Re: Phil Spencer Says 2026 Is Going To Be 'A Really Special Year' For Xbox
Doesn't Phil and Microsoft say that EVERY year?
Re: It Sure Sounds Like We're Getting A New Halo Game In 2026
If it's a Halo remake or remaster that is just pure stupid to even bother to tease that.
If not a new Halo game, just keep their mouth shut. Very much an incredibly tasteless, example of bait and switch I've seen in long, long, long, time.
Re: Two More Xbox First-Party Games Are Getting 'Code In A Box' Physical Releases In 2025
@ZuneTattooGuy "Many games are much larger than the discs they are printed on"
Good point. I've never, ever, seen a game released on more than one disc. Never once in history of gaming have any developer ever done that.
Re: Two More Xbox First-Party Games Are Getting 'Code In A Box' Physical Releases In 2025
@Ricky-Spanish Not trying give you hard time since do like discussing on here with you.
But the fact you upgraded really says a lot you know. : )

Re: Two More Xbox First-Party Games Are Getting 'Code In A Box' Physical Releases In 2025
@Nintendo4Sonic Better watch trashing the useless, pointless, under powered, sad excuse, that is probably even less powerful than Nintendo Switch 2.
There are some diehard Series S fanboys in the fourms. Guess they appreciate having the worst experience in gaming today.
Pretty much they are choosing the equivalent scenario of driving a Honda civic when extra $100 could got them a Camaro or a vett.
Re: Two More Xbox First-Party Games Are Getting 'Code In A Box' Physical Releases In 2025
@Friendly "code in a box started with pc like 15-20 years ago though"
But was it a cheaper price by $20 - $30 for doing so?
Re: Two More Xbox First-Party Games Are Getting 'Code In A Box' Physical Releases In 2025
I'm sorry. Like for real here.
If there is just a code then in no way shape or form should any game be $80.
NO digital game - NONE - should EVER cost more than a physical edition of the game. EVER!

Anyone not see that coming is foolish and naive.
Re: Xbox Officially Has Its First $80 Game, And It Won't Be The Last
@TapeLoader This is one reasons why I detest game pass so much because Microsoft forced it on us just to cancel Xbox Live.
Only way to play online now (far as I know) is to pay for game pass. And that's $10 - $20 a month.
Xbox Live you could buy on sale for about $60 for 12 month card. Making it $5 a month.

I'm going with F.
Far tooooooooooo many anime style games. Thought was going watch Xbox showcase. Not Nintendo Switch 2 showcase.
At least didn't have any the.... Coming Fall 2037!

Re: Undead Labs Shares Cryptic Tease Ahead Of Xbox Games Showcase
All I want is a mode in state of decay that turns of all the special zombies and makes the shuffling ZOMBIES, ONLY.
I really world enjoy immensely a walking dead simulator in state of decay 3
Re: Fallout 76's New Fishing Update Is Dividing Opinion So Far
@Kaloudz @Ricky-Spanish Agree 110%. My post above is why I quit playing fallout 76.
Elder scrolls online started doing a "season" type thing. But they absolutely get it and are doing it correct. Not obnoxious like fallout is.
Re: Fallout 76's New Fishing Update Is Dividing Opinion So Far
The Seasons in Fallout 76 are waaaay too insanely long to complete. I religiously completed EVERY season for six or so.
Then I said this is ridiculous. Having to play 2 or 3 hours a night, EVERY night, for months in end. Had ZERO time to play any other game.
Stopped playing the game. Really never went back. They absolutely need fix Seasons by reducing it being able complete in week or so.

@ozkrmz As much as I agree with you 110%. Your single display of nonconformity, nonpurchase, did not sway Microsoft even the tiniest bit.
Numerous amounts of people foolishly forked out money for that overpriced storage. Just another Microsoft grift, much like game pass is.
Re: Xbox Quietly Releases New 4TB Expansion Card For Series X|S
Xbox storage is ridiculously, seriously, overpriced.

Love the irony of it being....canceled.
Re: Marvel's Black Panther Game Reportedly Cancelled As EA 'Sharpens Focus' On Its Lineup
......and just like that, nobody cared.
Easily the worst 2 Marvel movies. And saying that even after watched The Marvels.
Heck, the comic is far reach from ever being impressive.
Re: Xbox Building A Handheld 'Makes No Sense', Says Former Blizzard Boss
It's waste of time and money. I'd guess maybe 5% gamers at most care about handheld (that is not Nintendo handheld).
And out of that 5% - - 95% are 10 years old or younger.
Re: Microsoft Signs 'Historic Tentative Agreement' With QA Devs At Bethesda
