I'm starting to think Borderlands 4 will either release early with bunch bugs or be looking at early 2026.

Hopefully it helps when trying buy a game and the game has 50 million bajillion editions. Seen numerous times, one edition looks be complete edition, but there is another edition that has more.

And don't get me started on the Xbox one versus Xbox Series X. I've almost bought Xbox one edition not knowing is a Series X version.

Way too and unnecessarily confusing process just to buy a game.

@XxEvilAshxX Licensed tracks are super important. More is good. Not think can have too many.

But I do absolutely agree fictional tracks are absolutely a blast. Like one mentioned above, the Alpine Track. Believe that is Switzerland flavor. The track is amazing to drive, the snow is insanely beautiful. I played hours and hours on that track alone.

Is this the track that went up a mountain, tons of tight roads with hairpin turns, and lot of cherry blossoms in scenary?

If so, I've waited long, long, time play that track again!

I'm wondering if this game is like mass effect Andromeda. It was decent game, but very bad mass effect.

Maybe veilguard just bad dragon age game?

@Kaloudz Yes, timed exclusive content turns me COMPLETELY off once I miss it. No excuse why they can't have it available for people to play that missed it.

Terrible to punish people that have a life. Or at least....ones that not say every 5 mins, "don't forget bang that bell and like and subscribe."

My personal experience with this game is, if not playing in group, forget about trying to enjoy the game, will be destroyed before able do much anything.

Not saying that's bad thing since the game is really meant for multiplayer. Just more FYI for all to know what to expect.

I really hope Microsoft next gen does not make same mistake of releasing 2 consoles again. Especially with how Series S continues be mistake that should never been released.

@Old_Man_Harper Thank you for info. Really was wondering. For some reason, my memory, had all the games in that series as either alternative lifestyle or trans, main and supporting characters. Which I'm ok with. But it really felt it was more agenda pushing than being actual game.

To be 100% and completely fair, the above is based on impressions. I never played any their games because I want play a game, not attend a sermon, or convention. So their games could be amazing and I'm missing out and incredibly wrong with my impressions. I'm just one person.

From what I remember of this series. It was pretty woke?

@Kaloudz Good question. I did enjoy special zombies for breaking up the gameplay variety. Absolutely that was nice.

But state of decay, for me at least, the core of that game is be a walking dead simulator. Find people. Incorporate people into your group. Try to keep them alive, etc.

When I watched the walking dead, never had, "Carl! Carl! Watch out for that Vibratior Zombie. She's got fresh D cells leaking battery acid from her....her...you know! Carl! Carl! Carl look out!". 😁

If that makes sense for kind of game I'm going for. If looking for crazy zombie games, other games fill that role, much, much better. Dead Island 2 prefect example how do a special zombie game. They did EVERYTHING right in that game. Especially comparing it to the prior horrible Dead Island games. Hopefully Dead Island 3 just as awesome.

This never happened to me on Xbox luckily, but you ever trying for something or such just about complete it and the console freezes up?

On the NES, think was first ninja gaiden. Finally made it thru difficult level and right at end of it. Console froze. I was beyond angry.

But if have finished any campaign on X difficulty, who cares if an achievement is involved. Knowing did so, should be only reward needed. Unless a person wants to just simply be a bragger.

Full disclosure, I've always hated achievements. Ruins sooooooo many online games. So my opinion means absolutely nothing really.

Ditching 343i for "the new developer" step in right direction.

Lot that 343i staff were terrible stewards for future of Halo. 343i have treated Halo fans like garbage for many years.

The way the moderators treated people in Waypoint Forum was terrible. They let their friends insult people and break the rules with zero repercussions. But if anyone questioned that, all were immediately banned. Snickerdoodle was the ABSOLUTE worst in this behavior.

And 343i gave her a promotion. Go figure, right.

I really, really, really, want a mode, where I can just play the game with regular shuffling zombies. No special zombies at all.

Be sooooooo much more enjoyable for me.

These are MUST HAVES for me to even consider the new "console".

It MUST be able to plug into TV. No desire play handheld gaming rubbish. Not negotiable.

It still needs feel like I'm playing on an Xbox. Not negotiable.

It needs to function AS IS. None of that needing upgrade it every year. That is the VERY REASON I quit PC gaming and have ZERO desire ever go back to PC. Not negotiable.

@GamingFan4Lyf Absolutely. My guess I'd look at how many years left to retirement. Then take out the sum of max I can contribute to 401k each year. Put that amount in every year so I'm maxed. And another large sum just drop into a CD and just let it roll over every year until retirement. And what little have left do some stuff around the house.

Just finished watching the video. I am sooooooo very happy seeing the game flow, gameplay, mechanics, graphics, destruction, looking as it is this early.

My hopes and expectations are very, very, high.

Not sure about Battlefield 6, yet. But without doubt, Battlefield 3 and 4 are absolutely the best multiplayer Battlefield games made to date.

@Kaloudz No Mercy for me is still the best wrestling game ever made.

Tried some of the WWE games years ago. But really could not stand the pin/submission mechanics. Very much not intuitive at all. And terrible idea making it some kind mini game.

@Stephan123 Think I was having same issue and bumped difficulty down.

Did the same with Redfall. Really felt the normal difficulty is for co op mode. I was getting destroyed on normal.

This game absolutely felt like a new robocop movie. Looking forward to a sequel.

I enjoy all the Gears campaigns. But any Gears multiplayer I did not enjoy at all.

Until proven wrong, I am still very much going continue say the next Xbox console will be very much like the Nintendo Switch.

@Ilyn @VivaUtd Also it is worth mentioning the actual budget and cost of making the game.

Budget and development cost for, say, Brotato versus GTA6 are astronomically different.

If being on subscription service was so wonderful and profitable, then EVERY game would be on game pass day one. But they aren't.

And that should tell anyone what they need to know.

Jade Empire was an amazing game. Hopefully Xbox will just green light a sequel. I'm up for it.

Big issue is so very, very, few live service games hit. And even if they do, the market is so incredibly narrow that it hurts itself with self inflicted wounds, like, Seasons.

Good example, from my experience, is Fallout 76. Do I like it? Yes. Did I play it often? Yes. Did I buy the Power Armor Edition? Yes, I was one those fools. Did I play a lot of the seasons? Begrudgingly, yes, with utmost distain, that eventually had me wash my hands of the game entirely.

What Fallout 76 did, like many live service games, make it so THE ONLY GAME YOU HAVE TIME TO PLAY. That turned me off since it was THE ONLY GAME I could play and it demanded two+ hours a day, every day, and work my heavy work schedule it created a point that I missed completing a season, and have never returned since annoyed missed out on things.

If they made it where could complete a season in couple days to week, I would still enjoy the game AND be playing the game. They chased me away by holding me prisoner to that game, only able play that game, if I wanted to complete the Season and not miss anything. They absolutely chased off a person that loves Fallout world so much, they bought the Power Armor Edition. Yes, it's worth mentioning that momentary lapse of reason, again.

Elder Scrolls Online is doing this same mistake in form of Golden Pursuits. At least as of now, I'm able to complete it in about week or longer. But the window of the event usually 10 days, so you still MUST play everyday. If they make it more demanding I'm out. Again, this is a person that loves Elder Scrolls Online so much I have purchased EVERY physical collections edition expansion until they stopped releasing those. And just like Fallout, they will lose a long time player and frequent consumer.

Live service games need to really decrease the forced and needed level of engagement. It burns out, frustrates, turns off, players.

Of course someone on here will obviously not read the entire comment and just say, you don't have play the game, no one is forcing you. Well, no one is forcing or asking that a season be so demanding so it's the only game you'll be able to play. I like to play different games during the week. Not same thing every day.

Again......it's ANOTHER example of publisher NOT FOLLOWING the 6 Month Rule.

I can not stress this enough. If every publisher followed that rule. It be such a better experience for EVERY ONE involved.

Honestly, not even think about the UI when interface with Xbox. So, at least, for me, that just speaks how fine the UI is as it is. Not even think about or notice it.

Yet, another example, if Six Month Rule was followed. This would not even be an issue.

I stated Microsoft as a whole over last 10 years. Not just Xbox. Nadella has canceled amazing and top notch products that could propelled into much better position for the future.

That's not even taking into consideration how nadella has done nothing but find ways to make everything he can into an unnecessary, overpriced, subscription service.

I'm big elder scrolls online person. If actually had time play lot Xbox, new world and eso, be my two big games occupy time.

Nadella has absolutely been terrible for long term health of Microsoft for about last 10 years.

All the souls-like games need to have a story (easy) mode. No questions asked. Full stop. It would absolutely, increase sales of those type games significantly as well. I stand by that belief.

I've said numerous times on this site, there is no joy for me, to try and die for 6 hours straight, only to advance 5 mins in the story. If I want to deal with something that frustrating and that annoying - I'd just go to work.

Fact you're sharing no one engaged with Elden Ring stories on the site really enforces my thoughts above. I play video games to escape life. Not basically put on black, leather mask, with zipper for mouth, and take it, every moment play a game.

@Kaloudz I would be more akin to agree with your thoughts if Playstation and Nintendo put heck lot more games on Xbox. I'd love to play spider-man, horizon Dawn, god of war, etc.

But I'm never gong to buy a Playstation due to how much I detest the PS controller. If a company would finally make a reasonably priced, wireless, Xbox style controller, I'd buy it and Playstation in a heartbeat.

Been with Xbox since Day One 2001. No regrets.
