F sake, bought this last week on PS5 for £45.

If this stops kids burning through parents credit card limits, I’m all for it. Kids and parents alike need protecting from egregious micro transaction laden trash... however, I don’t think this is the point of this initiative.

I’m quite deeply entrenched in the Apple eco-system. I was disappointed when I learnt about Game Pass but even more when I discovered that my new controllers didn’t work as controllers.

I hardly leave the house these days, so when the controller support lands I’ll be happy to use remote play on my iPad. It’s the closest us Apple users will get to Game Pass streaming.

This game is intriguing, I’m yet to try it. Is it all online PVP or can you solo stuff?

I’m using a set of Razer Nari Ultimate. The haptic feedback is excellent.

@wazza99999 Seems a system shutdown resolved my issue. At least for today. I have had a heavy Witcher III session today for a number of hours and my controller didn't disconnect at all. Go for the power-cycle and see if it works for you as well.

@wazza99999 I’m using batteries in all three of my controllers.

I’ve only been using the same controller for my play sessions so I might try another and see if that makes a difference.

Looking through through old Xbox One support guides, a power cycle is suggested to resolve this problem. That might be worth a shot as well.

I’ve been experiencing random controller disconnects and crackling sounds from my headset. At most I’ve spent just over an hour each time on my Series X and the controller disconnect has happened twice already.

I’m none the wiser today.

Was charged for mine last night, email telling me that my extra controller was shipped but my main Xbox order says ‘arriving today’ with no shipping tracking or declaration that it’s shipped.

I don’t have an email from Amazon telling me it won’t arrive today, so there is that.

I remain optimistic.

@Dezzy70 Amazon charged me about an hour ago. My controller preorder has shipped!

I bought a 75” Samsung two years ago as a moving in present for myself... the other-half would roll her eyes if I bought a new TV now.

I’ve got my eye on the LG CX at 77”, I have a rule when I buy TVs. Always got to go bigger than the previous one.

The Series X is a good reason to review the TV options.

@Beermonkey I was thinking the same thing. I would love to see future Pro Evolution Soccer games get the same level of support as Sony provides with PlayStation.

It's one thing I'm going to miss as a new Series X owner, PES with full edit mode. I've always been a PES player and being able to add custom kits was a major factor for me owning a PS4.

We'll see what happens this gen.

I’ve been using my new game pass subscription to play Streets of Rage 4. I have fond memories of playing all the previous titles in the 90s.

I bought a crappy Fire HD8+ a few months ago and dug out an old ASUS gamepad to give the whole xCloud thing a try; been very impressed with it so far.

I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a new games console. I keep that getting a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, reminds me of being a kid at Christmas!

I’m 41 now, f’ing mental... best get on with the rest of the housework soon.

For the last month I’ve been pondering where to put mine. There is an obvious place for it but it will be in full view and I like the idea of keeping it vertical... I guess I’ll see what it looks like when I unbox it.

Don’t care. I have a second play through of The Witcher III lined up, plus I’ve just bought RDR2 dirt cheap on eBay and I’ve got a shiny new Game Pass Ultimate subscription. I’ll have more than enough back catalogue to keep me going for a while.

@Carck it’s quite possible. My Samsung TV has the Apple TV app installed and now shows up on my network as an AirPlay device.

It would be a missed opportunity if AirPlay is not supported.

@Diplodoplo both Monkey Islands for me. My early teens were all about racing my next door neighbour to completion. We used to lean out of our bedroom windows and ask what part each other were on. Great days!

I noticed this different shade of green earlier today. I actually prefer it, not as luminous as the original.

They are either going to push out another update and revert it back to the original colour, or the Game Pass app will be next for the shade of green change.

I used to drill holes in them and install LED mods for friends, miss those days.

The UI was a huge reason I went PS4 in 2013. I found the Xbox One UI a mess and a series of moving targets as there were a number of updates (as I remember).

I’m looking forward to this experience on the Xbox series X, looks much more refined.
