Hope it's gameplay if it is there. My expectations are high for HB2 I'm hoping they make the combat and puzzles better as they were pretty basic in the first game for me.

Do things like that really make people swap what machine there buying on?

I'm sure the campaign for HI is great but you'd expect an Xbox exec to say its good wouldn't you? it's not like he's gonna say I played it over the weekend and in all honesty it's Dog s**t!!

@The_New_Butler I'm not under any illusion of how big it is its survived decades, I actually said its a big thing because of the current state of the world. I never said it was bad, not fun or a waste of time just that I don't get its appeal, it coming to console is only going to grow it even more and being on gamepass will introduce new players to it.

@Senua I didn't say it looks boring or that it isn't fun, don't get triggered because I said I never seen the appeal personally. I even say that Gamepass will make more people try it which could make it even more popular.

I've never really seen the appeal of flight sim but I guess the market is pretty big it being on gamepass means that most will at least fly over there house

@Chaudy I'm pretty surprised they didn't acquire Remedy back when AW launched seemed like it was a nailed on deal for a while

@Chaudy I can only assume you mean with the likes of Naughty Dog and Insomniac? I think those are difficult to compare to the Bethesda deal. Buying a studio that has spent a couple of decades making exclusive titles with the occasional third party title isn't the same as buying an umbrella company that has been making multiplatform games for the the same couple of decades.

I agree Pete Hines had absolutely no reason to apologise, Bethesda were offered an insane amount of money and they were right to take it all it does for me is change the shape of pad I'll use to continue playing there games, I'm not blindingly loyal to any platform holder, if that was the case I'd still be crying that Sega don't make consoles anymore.

@Chaudy how you can rant at Sony for locking games away as timed exclusives but act like Microsoft have never done it is laughable. It was worse on Sony's part to get Street Fighter V as an exclusive game for me than have FF7 for a year.

Hopefully we get a sequel to Grim Fandango next

@Chaudy maybe it was part of the deal, the devs keeping the rights, that made them exclusive to the Xbox.

I'm hopeful that we'll eventually get a sequel to Alan Wake one of the better games on the 360 imo

@Chaudy I'm surprised that Sunset Overdrive didn't do better on the Xbox One tbh I've not played a load of it but I had a blast, that's one thing that Sony have been good at doing keeping hold of IP.

I was expecting a little more and there was a lot for 2022 but seeing Psychonauts get a release date, Hades porting over, Atomic Heart looking like an insane Bioshock and Outer Worlds 2 made it decent but never ground breaking.

I'll be pretty disappointed if Hellblade 2 isn't there personally 2 years since its announcement and we've seen a CG trailer.

@logicslayer I did say that first party Sony games are priced at £70 & even though they don't own HM Returnal is a Sony owned IP

F - usually reserved for EA but there was nothing there that I was even slightly interested in. I was hoping to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 or a new 2D Rayman and I really don't understand why they've shelved Splinter Cell. try again next year lads.

@logicslayer historically PC have always cost less than console games its not a new thing that's happened because game prices have gone up (for some games) for the first time in a decade or more. I payed £64.99 for my copy of Metal Gear Solid on PS1 back in 99 so it's not a new thing games costing a lot.

Look at RE Village that wasn't £70 was it? if Sony were forcing devs/publishers that would have been as well.

@logicslayer 3rd party devs don't have to charge £70 for there games, don't blame Sony when EA are charging top whack for a multiplayer game.

I really don't get why people would pay for an online only game when there's a good selection of free shooters out there.

Good to know its still going to be made it could be a nice companion to what seems like a serious Starfield (if the leaks are to be believed)

@blinx01 I like that your reasoning for not subbing to game pass is because people are "casual" gamers, I don't sub because I don't have loads of free time to be able to play 5 plus games month, I have a kids so that makes my game time more limited so I play games I want to play. If it had been around on the 360 I'd of had a rolling on because I was playing more as I had more free time.

@LtSarge what's to say in 2 to 3 years when there's an exclusive every month (which I kinds doubt even with with volume of studios in the ranks now) that it isn't £20+ a month?

Really hope so, we hear from so many platform holder's/dev's that it's the best line up they've ever had only for whats being shown to feel like a slight let down. Hellblade 2 gameplay is what I wanna see most from Microsoft this E3.

Gamepass is an amazing service if you have the free time to play a wide range of games but as someone with limited time to play due to work, family, football & seeing friends (again finally) I can be playing the same game for months.

For instance I finished AssCreed Odyssey at the start of April I started it in mid December, 4 months of game time for £7. Its very rare I have 2 big games on the go at one time nowadays.
