@Titntin you need to get on it I started doing them when my S arrived so far I've had 6 months of GP Ultimate (the only way I'll sub to the service) & £35 in gift cards

@deadmaker I'm not saying they haven't the adaptive controller is an amazing innovation & the cloud tech is great but all the things that people think there responsible for they aren't. Online play on console (Sega were trying it on the mega drive, did better with the Dreamcast), games on demand (again Sega tried with Sega Channel, Sony had PSNow), a TV based streaming app (again Sony with PSNow), hard drives in consoles (PS2 in Japan predates Xbox by a few months), rewards scheme (Club Nintendo was launched in the early 2000's)

@deadmaker the only thing Microsoft have added to the console space is making paid subs the norm.

I exited Xbox in 2010, picked up the OG in 2003 and a 360 launch day, but all I was playing at the time on the machibe was COD & Mass Effect when the latter went muptiplat I had no reason to keep it. I never bothered with the XB1 there were a couple of games I wouldn't have minded playing more of (played on a friend's console) but there was nothing I felt like I was missing.

When the Series consoles were announced I knew I'd be picking up an S at some point, I ended up getting one with my phone upgrade. While I wouldn't have picked one up yet, there's still been no real must play games on it yet, it's a great bit of kit and what could come will make it essential eventually.

@Beermonkey I ended up going for Dragon Quest Builders as I'm a fan of the proper series 😄

@Carck Improved combat, new confidants, new shop in mementos, new areas in each palace, grapple hook making traversal easier, a third semester, new areas to hang out with friends, darts & pool were added, new character artwork, new cutscenes, looks sharper as it's a - at the time - current gen only game, new music tracks & if your an achievement hunter a much easier list.

@uberdaddypig I had 200hrs in the base game then another 130 in Royal time well spent!!

Give it a shot everyone, the base Persona 5 is amazing but Royal makes it so much better comfortably my favourite JRPG ever I'm glad people who haven't had the chance get to play it.

High On Life. By far the best thing on show during the XB/B presser for me, it was giving me vibes of the original version of Prey 2.

Finished the story of TMNT Shredder's Revenge (XSS) it was everything I wanted it to be so I've gone back to Yakuza Kiwami (PS4) into chapter 7.

High On Life, totally unexpected and nothing else quite matched up for me.

This was probably my favourite game of the whole show, looks kinda like what the original version of Prey 2 was gonna be

@IronMan30 PSNow was on Sony & Samsung TVs a while back.

Genuinely surprised this has taken so long for MS to do.

First I was talking about Perosna 5 not about FF7R

Second it would hardly be pathetic to release it after timed exclusivity, there's nothing to say it would be full price and if people actually want the game they will buy it so it being on Gamepass isn't the only way that makes sense

Third Microsoft also get timed exclusivity for games it's just on games that aren't as highly anticipated like Stalker 2 or The Medium & indie darlings like - the excellent - Tunic. Microsoft have also just locked off Bethesda which I'm sure you were happy about since it hurt Playstation.

@TheAshCohen09 just getting it on Xbox would be great for people who haven't played it, don't get why everything needs to be on Gamepass

I know a few people who have stopped buying games & are happy to wait until it's on Gamepass, one of my friends won't buy anything multiplatform in the first 18 months just in case it pops up on there. But he buys all the Playstation/Nintendo stuff day one.

@suikoden no this one isn't in the Arkhamverse but Suicide Squad KTJL is.

I'm still pretty excited about this but that gameplay did very little for me, possibly because it was focused on characters that I don't really like and won't be playing as.

I was so happy when I saw it had popped up on the store, still find it a little weird playing on the TV - I played the first game on Vita - but I'm having a blast mad how much I love the archer class.

@GunValkyrian you mean like the way Sony have bought Bungie and haven't even added them to the roster of Playstation Studios unlike Microsoft who bought Bethesda and locked everything away?

I love the Metal Gear series and I get excited for a Kojima game but having played Death Stranding the next one has to be better for me.

Is the Easter egg bonus quest thing actually working yet? I started Fable 3 (it was on the list anyway) & I've popped a few achievements but it's not registering

Jedi Fallen Order, not a massive SW fan but I had a blast with this.

Test asset do not represent game product, cinematic visuals test. So not what the actual game will look like then?

There all I play, I haven't - to my knowledge - played a single Series system only game since I got my S in December.

@Sol4ris why is it only moneyhatting when it's Sony do it? Does it not count if Microsoft get a timed excluisve game, advertising rights or pay for a multiplatform game to go straight to Gamepass? Maybe if people weren't waiting for it to go to Gamepass Sony wouldn't be able to get those kinda deals.

@BartoxTharglod they said a while back it had under performed but they probably looked at how well Spiderman did on PS4 and thought they couldn't fail. I played GOTG on PS4 last year and I loved it I highly recommend it

@RedShirtRod that's assuming that everyone pays for Gamepass, when I got my Series S I got 3 months free with the console and I've redeemed another 3 months through MS Rewards, I've not paid a penny for it in the 6 months I've been back on Xbox.

Richly deserved, really can't wait to see what's next from DF of the studios MS have picked up over the last few years there the ones that excite me most.

Nothing there for me personally, not seen much of Shredders is it more of an SSX type or similar to Steep?

Strong recommend for GOTG

Bloodborne is the best for me followed closely by Sekiro, I'm not a fan of the Souls gameplay I prefer to be on the front foot

@Cherip-the-Ripper I misread it 😂 crap that it's not just a universal thing I guess it's a wider Microsoft issue rather than an Xbox one hopefully they get it up and running

@Cherip-the-Ripper I've got 34000 in less than 3 months & I've not spent a penny to get any points or done any of the big punch cards. You can get 69000 a year just doing the daily bing seaches.
