Not looking like a 99% discount could even move a 2tb Series X rn. Sales are abysmal getting beat by the og Switch and Playstation 4 in most regions and the US. I'd like to see retro numbers as all the young folks around here a going ananlog and selling their systems and canceling streaming in droves. My retro game store has shelves of used this gen consoles atm.

Controls are horrid for this ugly game, online only is a huge turn off. Willing to bet this lands like a wet fart on any platform.

@CallMeDuraSouka Mom sold mine in a garage sale, learned a hard lesson on collecting from that. Imagine a game something like The Witcher or Shadow of Mordor with less RPG, more action and set in Eternia, with a Battle Ram, Sky Sled and Cringer/BattleCat your transportation, fighting BeastMan and Lockjaw outside the gates of Grayskull, power-ups and skills from The Sorceress or Orko, Man-at-Arms your weapons specialist/planning source, multiple skins and playable characters, maybe even an evil campaign playable as a MOTU character from the massive rogue's gallery. Can you tell I've thought about this?

The fact that we never had even a decent He-Man game in my 50 years is a shame. Let this cook, keep the price under $25 and sell a bunch so I can get a 3rd Person open world Eternia before I'm 65.

Hey, this might be a reason to dust it off and turn on the old Series X, seems as though I haven't had one in a long long time(Last Summer I think). However, this simple fix that should have happened years ago is far too little too late to win back this whale, I found plenty of other fish in the sea that wants my money.

Not true wireless, has those wonky back buttons right where my fingers rest, those suck, no haptic feedback, too small and way overpriced. That's a no sir to GameSir. Where's my refund for my Elite 2 being garbage out of the box and where's the new controllers we were promised MS?

@Fiendish-Beaver or just not play and save a few bucks. I see no value in GamePass especially with majority of games that really want your money having a demo of some sort. Maybe there are no good demos on Xbox since they want you to be a tester while paying for Game Passé.

Don't sleep on The Thaumaturge, it's kinda a cross between STS and Ex.33. Some fantastic creature designs and great deck building. Also, physical copies will be worth triple(good luck getting an Xbox version) as the press run was very limited.

Pinball FX always gave me the feeling the game was data mining or stealing my identity while I played. Just an "ick" certain games give off, almost like a smell... and Pinball has long felt like the worst offender no matter who makes it.

April 1st marked my first full year without any gaming subscriptions(I have been a PSN and XBL member in some form since inception) and guess what? I didn't notice missing it, realized I never play anything needing "online" services and bought a PS5 pro(pre-price hike) with the savings. I have not been this happy as a gamer since pre-covid. Going for my video streamers this year(YouTube premium is going to be a hard loss).

This is the saddest list of games and so called "perks". Remember when you got a movie or TV show season and a discount on pizza? Why on earth would anyone pay for GP only to play all the free to play mindless content? Or any f2p games on a console in a first world country?

Anything is better than the awful Xbox app. Heck, trying to find an open KMart is easier than navigating the Xbox app.

I have the Starlink:Battle for Atlas starter set and the only add-ons I could find for Xbone. Spent a few hours with it years ago and enjoyed my time, no need for the toys 2 life aspect.

I don't care about colors, groups and I've never used quick resume, ever, it's a terrible strain your system and chances are it won't work properly even after one use. Those little download niggles you all have... Quick Resume. I want a list of my games installed and that's it, I don't care what my background is. I don't stare at it, I play games on my game console.

I need some of the, Atari, Acclaim and Midway and the more arcade style games of the 2000s playable again.. Splashdown, MotoRacer, San Fran Rush 2049, Hitz Blitz and Jam, MK, Rampage, Godzilla DAMM and Gauntlet. Be really cool to get a new Paperboy and Gauntlet too.

Been almost a year since I left. Haven't missed it. Any friends I played with have all left too and we caught up on the PS5 pros we all bought with the savings. Haven't been this happy as a gamer in a few years. 2026 has been great on PS5.

Always thought of SSX series as overrated ugly and empty featureless games where gameplay barely evolves from the first five mins to the last five however, Just Cause 2 is a fantastic example of a game that holds up amazingly today. The 360 game runs like a dream on Series X. I will never tire of chaos, jumping from ground to a helicopter, to a jet, to the ground again all the while blowing everything up in sight will never get old.

I have become completely disenchanted with new and future games on Xbox. If it's not a sokoban, it's a $5 platformer, if not either it's A.I. created UE5 slop. The AAA stuff has been wash rinse repeat as of late and I cannot fathom paying $70 for a game discounted 20% day 29 after the 28 day window and revenue is reflecting that. Seems I'm not alone anymore as more and more sleepers are waking. The crash is coming.

Too little way too late and still broken and inaccurate. Bring back comments on user reviews, let me sort out the shovelware, filter DLC, if the discount is LPOT(lowest price of the season or retail), search by dev or a page with all games available(like Switch) by Devs or studio and stop deleting reviews and if reviewer actually played or a time played game.

Maybe a hot take but I found Space Marine 2 to be clunky, drab and boring AF.

Spent too much on licensing, puts out AA titles that are just that... AA, sometimes just A, or even B(Rennsport). Hell Is Us was slept on though.

All that red tape for barely an hours worth of gameplay across 13 games. Give me a digital Avengers and Xmen and I'm good. Spiderman games are awful... I would just like the newly formed New Radical to give us a remastered The Incredible Hulk Maximum Destruction and/or a sequel.

@SuntannedDuck2 Disney does not own any interactive or live-action rights to Spiderman or any of his supporting characters and the main rogues that were introduced in a Spiderman-only comic, those rights are exclusive and can only be licensed by Sony, as long as Sony use the character in an interactive and live action form every 5 to 6 years, INDEFINITELY. Basically, if you visually see Spiderman move on a screen Sony owns the rights and all profits not Disney. Disney paid Sony for the ability to bring Spidey into the MCU to make the stories they want, however Sony has been the lead production company on everything Spiderman with Disney in more of an executive producer position. I don't believe Sony with their own highly successful platform would allow such a look in what is currently the bottom rung of the gaming world by caving and allowing any form of their breadwinner to "slum it" on the quickly fading Xbox. Better chance for a Switch drop though...

Sounds like sunsetting Xbox to me. Back to their "roots" as in burying the platform.

It's like when zaslav came in and gussied everything up for the sales of Discovery and now WBD, or when Time magazine was quietly sold and phased out, or like when Sears rebooted and cleaned up before the end or the Saturn motors/Geo rebrand and cancellation of the GM days. This is why we have games like Fortnite and ZZZ taking over "Game Awards" and budgets for B tier devs ballooning until everyone will be fired if enough pre-orders don't wishlist, enablists like these.

Change is coming and consoles will be next as it's easiest cost cutting solution. They are making more money selling games on Switch and PS5 than the home console, it would be a mistake to continue bleeding money on the console(just ask Sega).

@Skedaddle I'd check the predictive market, news on RAM shortage lasting through the rest of the decade and MS bleeding customers daily(most recently changing rewards)... the writing is on the wall, the scuttlebutt in the know, all points to no more Xbox. Prove that it's not happening.
