It's been a while since we last talked about Xbox's Stream Your Own Game program here at Pure Xbox, but rest assured that it continues to grow at a rapid rate, with over 50 games added in the past month alone!
Xbox doesn't do a good job at highlighting the latest additions to the program, but fortunately the Better xCloud account on Twitter tracks them all — and so we've been able to put together a list of the latest additions.

In addition to these, a whole bunch of Stream Your Own Game titles were added in November including Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, multiple MLB: The Show releases, Monster Hunter Stories and WWE 2K25.
We've also seen a handful of games getting quietly removed from the service, presumably because they either weren't intended for it in the first place, or were added too early. Examples of this include Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai.
So, there we go! Xbox Stream Your Own Game has seen hundreds and hundreds of additions in 2025, now resulting in a ridiculously large library of titles that's set to grow further in 2026. If you want to see the full list of everything that's available to stream, simply head over to xbox.com/play and navigate to the "Stream Your Own Game" section.

Every time they add games to this it's a reminder of how much shovelware is on Xbox. I don't know what work needs to be done for a game to be added or who has to do it, but I wish it would happen to better games.
I wish this misguided effort went into physical conservation, securing old licenses, re-releasing old titles with FPS boost and making Xbox and the brand relevant again.
I recently played FarCry 6 on Xbox Ally via the cloud because my girlfriend was watching TV.
The experience was a nightmare; it was really difficult to get good shots because of the input lag.
@Jenkinss I'd surmise that by adding more of the lower impact, less demanding games they get to inflate "quantity of titles available" and "number of concurrent players" metrics. Such a game would demand a relatively small slice of server resources compared to a more demanding blockbuster title. For example, a server blade may have the capacity to emulate either one Series X or several One S consoles, and some of the games will only require the latter, so one server blade could serve multiple instances of an older, less demanding game to multiple users.
Not sure why Xbox seem to be going streaming mad.
I know one day in the future it might work.
I tried it again last night, series x 200mb/sec UK.
Demo to my daughter, what a shambles, graphics terrible, loads of lag, like 2 seconds on movement, tried 3 games all the same state.
Let’s focus on Xbox studios bringing us some big AAA quality games to download with all the trimmings picture and sound wise.
There is no way I want to go backwards in terms of quality visually, let’s go forward with more 4K and 60fps etc downloading.
I wouldn’t drive to an IMAX theatre only to sit in the parking lot watching a movie on my phone, and I have less than no interest in streaming anything to any other screen besides my nice tv the consoles are already hooked up to. Who are these people that prefer a lesser, inferior experience? I get if you’re traveling, on vacation etc and don’t want to lug a console around with you but that’s a niche use case and Microsoft wouldn’t be pushing streaming this hard just for that occasional purpose.
The first Zero Escape game (back when it was only 999) it's one of the best stories ever created. It's best enjoyed on a DS though.
It's great that they keep adding more games to the cloud, after all, that's the future. Unfortunately, it's not possible to bring them all because that requires agreements with the companies, but Microsoft's ultimate goal is to bring them all by gradually convincing the companies. Microsoft's "play anywhere" proposition is better for the future of gaming. For those still stuck in the 90s and 2000s model, I'm sorry, you're becoming outdated.
