Welcome to the last weekend before Christmas! Yep, we've got plenty of games that may or may not already be wrapped under that big living room tree right now, but that's not stopping us from adding to our digital backlogs via various ongoing sales as well. Of course it's not!
Here's what we're playing over the next few days:

As I've just alluded to in that intro up above, I've rather foolishly been adding to my digital backlog in the last few days, so that reckless spending has given me even more to be getting on with this weekend.
I've got Dave the Diver on the cards thanks to its huge discount in the current Xbox Countdown Sale, whilst GRID Autosport has finally been ticked off the Nintendo Switch wishlist this past week thanks to a steep sale over there as well. Oh, and I picked up some classic COD games in the Xbox sale too after giving up hope that they'll ever join Xbox Game Pass! I'm swimming in games right now...

The one game that I'm desperate to finish this weekend is Despelote, an amazing 2025 indie title that I talked about last week but unfortunately haven't had time to play since. I also really want to play Wreckreation and see what it's like — especially considering all the recent news about the dev team and how they're trying to keep themselves afloat.
