One of the most exciting announcements to come out of The Game Awards this year was the reveal of Control Resonant; the next single-player offering from Remedy Entertainment. In fact, we've seen some suggestions that this should have been the final reveal of the show rather than the one we got - and with people that high on this Control sequel, we want to know what you fine folks would like to see from the next Remedy epic.

Over here, we're hoping that the team combines some of that near-endless creativity you saw in Control, with a few of the refinements present in 2023's Alan Wake 2. We'd take an easier to read in-game map, tighter combat mechanics and generally speaking a more controlled structure - but it's important that Remedy also retains what made the first game great. We have faith the team can pull it off.

Of course, at the minute it's hard to forget FBC: Firebreak and how much that game has struggled in recent months, but we don't think such a project really has any bearing on how Control Resonant will turn out. Firebreak was always a small-scale spin-off right from the start, and despite it turning in disappointing results, we still reckon a new single-player effort in the Control series will be a return to form for Remedy.

Only time will tell on that one though! So, what do you hope to see from Control Resonant? Is there anything you'd pull from Alan Wake 2, or do you want this follow-up to stay distinctly Control? Talk to us about this exciting TGA reveal down below.
