Was happily subscribing to gold then had the offer of game pass upgrade for £1. Stunning. Plus getting reward points each month to top up my subscription means a bit of time and effort I've got it many months of enjoyment. Got a great balance with Xbox and Switch. Will grab a PS5 when they become more available but in no rush.

Bought at launch. Played for a few hours. Now collecting dust till fully working and series X upgrade. Can be picked up for a third of the price it was a launch now. So wish I had of waited.

Sadly I love the linear gameplay of the originals but as long as it plays well and has a good story I'm up for open world (though I tend to get bored with open world games and hardly complete them.)

Saves paying a known actor a hefty pay cheque.

Still play L4D2 on my series X. Amazing series. Got me back into online gaming due to co-op gameplay (I get my arse handed to me in competitive games.) I can't wait for this. My must have game of the year.

@Mundaney Rewards on Xbox and online then game pass challenges. You can also get someone to gift you 5000 points a month. My son does this. I'm mega OCD about doing it. Got it to a fine art. Searching is easy as just put a-z a couple of times. Saved in my search history so easy to blast through. I've had 3 months game pass and £65 worth of points since November.

It's taken me 2½ months to save up Microsoft reward points for resident evil village. Will save from now to get this. Love it!

@Dezzy70 I pay £8 for my phone, have to pay £20 for internet, don't touch sky and what is this gym you speak of? Luckily got ultimate due to a cheap offer a couple of years back, energy drink offer of 4weeks for £1.50 2yrs ago (was buzzing for weeks) and now Microsoft rewards top ups. Don't see the point of gold but sure others are happy to have it.

I've had this a couple of times and also random times I loose signal and have to either restart Xbox or replug hdmi in. This is usually between changing games.

I used to be massively into grabbing achievements. I just get them for my daily 50 ms points and any needed for weekly/monthly points now. Save a nice easy game to grab stuff on to activate one then go play what I want (currently human fall flat.)

The icon for the series X version has been on my home screen mocking me for a while now. At last I can play it!

Been hammering this for 2 months. Got 3 months ultimate (4 if you say yes to auto renew then cancel) and a tenner in points. 2 months!! I am getting a bit OCD about doing my quizzes and searches each day but can get that done on my lunch break in work.

Free trial... Was hoping for code to add to subscription. Rockstar energy drink did 2 weeks and my local shop was doing 2 cans for £1.50. I bought a tone to keep adding on. Was buzzing from caffeine and tons of sugar for weeks!

@Darylb88 Still looking at 36000 points for 3 months (actually 4 if you agree to having automatic payment turned on. Then turn back off...) Can get that in about 2 months of OCD turning in challenges and questionnaires.

I'm good till 2024 thanks. This is why I'm now hammering the Microsoft rewards to get 3 months of ultimate at a time.

Do not drop the ball on this. I rate Indy more than Star Wars and am a massive Star Wars fan. It's just an amazing set of films. Seeing last crusade and crystal skull at the cinema in a group including my late mum holds so many memories. Indiana Jones is just great pulp adventure. My son has started watching and so the circle is complete. I want a game that can give me all those feelings while entertaining me. Not much to live up to in the beermonkeys eyes then...

As much as I LOVE Star Wars, would be amazing to get some new monkey Island or Indiana Jones games. Hell even a game set in the Willow universe.

I'm old so zapp 64 tapes and writting out pages of code for free games are a fond memory. Amiga floppy discs (if I didn't like the demo could always use the disc.) Tekken PS1 demo. Metal gear solid 2 demo in zone of enders. Dreamcast demo discs with some cracking games. Xbox 360 demo discs (loved the L4D theme that came on one.) Demo discs (tapes and floppy discs) rule!

Hardest part of Dead by Daylight is getting a match... Literally 10-15 mins to find a lobby. My first game got a good hiding as well. Might actually leave this one...

Was going to use some reward points but decided to add to my Game Pass subscription instead. Between my series X and Switch I've got a huge back catalogue I'm not even able to play. Cyberpunk also waiting to be played more than the couple of hours I've been able to put into it. We really are spoiled now a days and still manage to moan about releases...

Got £5 reward points coming on the 1st. Could buy something and have change. Nice.

I enjoyed the first couple of hours with no issues. So bloody busy (working admin at covid vac clinics) that it's probably going to be a few hot fixes/patches down the line till I play it again.

I'm so happy... Spiritual sequel to Dead Space and L4D both coming. 2 properties that deserved sequels (minus microtransactions... Cough DS3.)

@Medic_Alert "some"... I've seen some very interesting characters over the years in CEX. When they were first Computer Exchange I used to get some great imported games. Now the place stinks and has headache inducing music. Used to love buying HD DVDs from them for pence when it was free postage as loved the fact it cost them more to send it to me than I paid for it.

I bought control ultimate edition for £30 literally the week before it plunged down in the black Friday sales. Like most stuff I buy it ends up on GWG or game pass. Would not be surprised at all...

Vice city! Some days I would just drive and listen to the music. I would love a new GTA set in the 80s.
