The Microsoft Rewards program has become highly popular with Xbox users over the past couple of years, allowing you to earn points for completing basic tasks that can be converted into Xbox Gift Cards.
We've gone into lots of detail about Microsoft Rewards elsewhere on Pure Xbox, so check out our full guide for a rundown of how to earn these points, but in a nutshell you can get them by doing daily Bing searches, completing weekly Xbox Game Pass Quests, taking advantage of punch cards and much, much more.
With that in mind, we're interested to know how many Microsoft Rewards points you have right now. This writer has 72k, and I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to spend it on, but do you have any special plans? Saving up for one of next month's big releases? I pay for my game pass sub with the rewards points, these days I am just saving up until some deal pops up for more months at a cheaper price
Just pre-ordered Resident Evil village will some. Got a nice 6000 points for this as well so taking me to 34000 banked. Saving for Back 4 Blood.
I have around 44K. Havent got my eye on anything particular but might use them if I see any good deals or maybe save them up for the new wireless headset (if its ever back in stock)
I auto deduct for the $10 “gift card” each month to get the discount, and usually cash in the rest during a sale if I see something I want. Just picked up Fenyx Rising this way when it was on sale. Good program. Sitting on about 45,000 now.
I have about 264k. Stacks up if you buy 3 movies a month (gotta love the weekly sales). I'll do something with it one day, just not sure what.
Around 39,000, only been doing it since XSX launch though and have also redeemed £50 worth of credit in the past. Usually get around 12-15k per month from it too. Saving up the points for now though as GPU sub is sorted for the next 3 years. Might get some hardware with the points (Xbox headset) or some games depending on what gets announced for this year at E3 etc

I recently bought life is Strange when it was on sale using the points. Now I have about 7k left, I will save for a while, there's two games I really want: Judgment and Ghost Runner

@GateCrasherUK Do all the Game Pass quests every day/week/month, check out the rewards app on the Xbox One and/or Series X, and do all the daily Bing activities. You have to commit to it because the more you engage, the more points you get. I'm going to get 1,000 points tomorrow alone for a 10-week streak on the Xbox rewards app.
I've made a point of doing them this month and stand at about 15.5k. I wanted enough for the Gamepass Ultimate subscription. I'll be getting that next month. Long term, I want to get as close as possible to covering the cost of Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, as I'd love to get it as soon as it is released.
@VenomousAlbino It’s even better as you get further in. I’ll be hitting my 40 week streak next week and getting 2500 bonus points.
I’m currently sitting on 51k and will be getting Mass Effect Legendary Edition when I reach enough (58.5k) to get £50 of credit. Can’t complain getting the entire Mass Effect trilogy for £3.99.
6k, made all of those this month. A shame some things are region locked. Also the nier punchcard is currently broken.
@VenomousAlbino do you have a link for the daily bing activities? It doesn't show up on my dashboarx.
@Cherip-the-Ripper - the Bing daily activities are available at the bottom of the MS Rewards app on Xbox, things like daily quizzes, polls or just checking out a news article like Oscars winners. You also get points for daily searches on Bing via both mobile and desktop

59K at the moment so about £50 worth over the last 4 months. Saving up for a series X in its entirety or sizeable contribution towards one when it comes into stock on the MS store.

The last 2 few months I’ve made enough to cash out for a $25 card / month. I just put the last reward toward my new electric volt controller. Probably once my prepaid Gamepass runs out in July I’ll start putting my points towards GP unless the 3 both cards go on sale again.
Im just about to hit 47K. I cashed in 15K at the end of the year for a few games. I'm. Currently just saving them up and will either get:
*Gamepass Ultimate time
*Wireless headset
*Offset cost of SSD Expension card
I'm thinking that the SSD Card is the one that makes the most sense. I have GPU until 2023 and will likely get some cards when they go on sale and my headset ain't broken so don't need to be replaced... also not sold on the official xbox headset still. SSD space is a premium so I'm thinking save up as much as I can and offset the cost of that bad boy... hopefully when they go on sale...at some point?
I have around 130K. I will probably use them to get a discount on memory expansion for the Series X when the onboard fills up.

I always use it for Game Pass Ultimate which is 35,000 for 3 months. But I already have almost 3 years stacked up, and picked up another of the EA play cards when on sale (giving 4 months for less than £5 a month). So perhaps I will use it for something else this time, perhaps save towards the expansion card.
I don't like the auto-£5 voucher as it has a time limit and I don't buy from the store often enough.

@GateCrasherUK If you use the Microsoft Edge browser, you can log in using your MS/Xbox account. Your profile pic will be in the top left corner. You can click on it and see your points. That will link you to your rewards page. Most of my points come from doing Microsoft Edge searches and daily sets in the morning while drinking my coffee (300-330 points daily). Then weekly sets and punch cards on the Rewards app on the Xbox (usually around 3,000 a month for me but more if I buy something). I have no problem getting enough points for Gamepass Ultimate to be free, but I have that stacked for three years, so I use it for games instead.
@SegataSanshiro yeah I'm loving it, never played the original so this is a first for me. I finished automata the day before nier's launch so I thought why not. About 24h in now and it's a lot of fun!

@VenomousAlbino No, point redemption has no impact on streak progression, you’ll be fine to redeem whenever is convenient

Microsoft banned my account from gaining and using reward points... because I use a VPN.
@VOODOO85 thanks for the reply but I just found out we don't have that in my country, gonna have to stick with the weekly rewards.
