Yeah i'm really "attacking" MS there for exclusives, on wait i'm not and said i'm fine with exclusives and don't care the likes of ES is on Xbox/PC only now. My issue is with Phil being a hypocrite, he says one thing but his actions say another.

Say what you will about Sony but there's never been a problem with pre-downloading their games. Lets me honest this is pretty terrible and there's no reasons they couldn't allow it, its the biggest and most hyped Xbox game in years and we can't even play on release time. 343 really are shooting themselves in the foot with this game, at least the campaign is worth the wait i guess.

@JayJ Its funny since getting my Series S this year and going to sites like this i find this site the most fanboyish out this site, PQ and NL, look at this article someone has been banned due to not like someone being negative about Phil. End of the day though all sides have fanboys, personally i find the Xbox fanboys the worst from what i've seen and experienced but then PS fanboys love acting all high and mighty and Nintendo fanboys feel like those small dogs always barking at the big dogs. All sides are bad for fanboys.

He's buying up studios at a big rate and he swallowed one Corp whole just to nap its games and make them Xbox/PC only, again i don't have a issue with that i get it and i own an Xbox so it doesn't even impact me but he's being such a hypocrite here, he never practices what he preaches and just comes across as a more "human" PR machine what the likes of EA and co love to rely on.

@John117 I don't think you understand what "AAA" game making is. I don't want Halo for free i would rather the MP was part of the full package and not F2P as that means it would have more content and 343/MS would have to go easier on MTX and all that rubbish.

I don't know why you keep bringing up money, your jobs and all that as it has nothing to do with 343 and Halo. End of the day games cost money and a fair bit of money so people naturally don't want a lackluster game what's barren and broken, its thanks to complaining and criticizing that issues will be sorted, taking it in the ass and just accepting things doesn't solve anything and just lets the Devs do what they like. I mean look at the backlash Avengers got for the P2W stuff it added, the playerbase exploded with anger, the game got a ton of bad press and CD were forced to remove them.

Look clearly i'm dealing with a fanboy here and one whose very naive to the upper management side of gaming. I think everyone with a sane brain respects the "drones" just trying to make a living but that doesn't mean we have to respect the people with the power and dictate how the game goes down. I can assure you the game being F2P is there so they can milk as much money from you as possible, its not a pro-gamer move its there to get the "whales" spending on sh*tty battle passes (what were downgraded for the final release making them even worse) and overpriced cosmetics. The gameplay again is fantastic and its why i've sunk a ton of hours into it and will continue to do so but everything else is far from flawless and 343 are naive if they think they can continue with this attitude for the next 10 years.

B, i mean look Infinite is clearly a GOTY contender and so is Forza 5 but other then MS Flight Sim it hasn't exactly been a diverse year for Xbox games and is overall just another Xbox year with the same games what hopefully changes in the coming years. I mean that top image i can't help but smirk at with Deathloop not on Xbox yet and PN2 being multiplatform.

Its a great year for sure don't get me wrong but if you're not a Gamepass convert and don't care for Halo or Forza then its pretty lackluster for 1st party games what thankfully doesn't apply to me but for those what does well yeah.

@John117 COD has a better battle pass, has more content MP wise, has a better reward system and even has better priced MTX stuff. Halo Infinite's MP is great gameplay wise but i'm not going to suck 343's d*ck when they fail to nail basic Halo stuff and are exploiting the hell out of its userbase and writing responses acting like they're the victims while they charge $20 for an armour set and only give out a handful of mediocre maps.

The fact you call 343/MS what's a Corp your heroes just screams fanboy, i legit thought you were trolling with that statement.

@FriendlyOctopus Barely any maps, $20 armour sets, lackluster Battle Pass with many of its stuff teased before launch gutted and sold on the store, no game specific playlists like Slayer only, lackluster customization, really bad progression and pretty bad events.

Sure the gameplay is great but the MP going F2P is just an accuse to bleed money from players. The personal attacks and insults are wrong i agree but right now COD of all things is handling MP better then Halo right now. So come on sure defend the workers just doing their job but lets not defend 343 and MS who are clearly just trying to find the best way to milk players dry.

Despite subbing to Gamepass i actually bought this rather then just Gamepassing it, its Halo and it looks fantastic so its worth the asking price.

80-89% but i wouldn't be shocked if its higher, either way i'm buying it day one and can't wait.

To be fair it was never going to get more sales and TF2 blows it away anyway.

I just wish they would reward you for playing well, it kinda sucks being the top player and carrying the whole team only to get net 50xp. That said they are listening and this change is very good. Just getting hyped for the campaign now.

@Fiendish-Beaver Well the PS5 and the Digital version are the same console its just one is lacking a disc drive while the Series X and S are two different consoles. I get your point though, they should have just settled on Series X and included S as part of it.

@Kienda MS have always been EA levels with monetization and i'm willing to bet Halo Infinite's MP being F2P was so they could go hard on it. Don't be fooled by MS's sheep's clothing as they are and always have been the most shady of the big 3.

This is why MS went F2P so they could do sh*t like this. Love how people are already trying to justify it.

Not shocked as its easier to get and many like myself got it as a Gamepass machine and a "2nd" console.

I think its a bit too slow but its worth noting the pass is meant to last the whole season, you're not meant to do it all in a day or two its meant to last months. If you unlocked it all today then other then the upcoming events you will not be earning anything, the pass is a slow grind because its meant to be the thing you're always working towards.

I bet EA aren't happy with this. Been playing it all night and its fantastic, no real issues with launch either unlike Battlefield.

Slightly annoying and sad but they done a great job and have added most of the big ones and the games i wanted to replay most or try out, better then what Sony and Nintendo have been doing by far.

Shame they couldn't add it to more but i can't complain at Fallout 3 and NV getting it.

Max Payne 3 and Mortal Kombat will be must buys. What a great day to own an Xbox.

Demons Souls Remake is one of the best remakes out there and so is SotC Remake so i'm shocked Sony got them before someone else did, hopefully the MGS remake rumour comes true next.

@FriendlyOctopus Would MS even be allowed to buy SE now? Like Disney after buying Fox i expect MS is now limited in what they can buy and can't buy. Avengers coming to Gamepass was going to happen regardless as it needed to happen, i expect Sony had a year of "exclusivity" in that it wasn't allowed on Gamepass for a year.

This is great news and exactly what the game needed especially the Xbox version with its awful playercount, shame there's no crossplay though. I won't be bothering with though as i already own it on PS4/PS5 have around 300 hours and counting on it (yes really) plus loads of skins what won't transfer over. Still this is great news and something i've wanted to happen for ages.

@LtSarge Big difference between allowing indies and allowing big "AAA" games, you don't see MS allowing Gears, Halo and Forza on Switch and that's pretty much where Bayo 3 is. Nintendo have been smart by not giving away their library to PC or other consoles and its why sales for Switch are so high, basically you want games made by Nintendo what aren't mobile based then you have to buy a Switch, Nintendo have always sold consoles/handhelds based on Nintendo's IP.

Titanfall 2 by far, its easily one of the best shooters out there.

@Xenomorph_79 On the other i've been playing it all afternoon and i think its been really good, the game braking bug is on the PS4 version only i read not that it excuses it.

Battlefield, i stopped caring for COD when they expected me to use up most of my HD space for them.

@Rafie Exactly and its not like they stopped they are still doing it to this day, Stalker is a timed exclusive among other games. In fact timed exclusives has been a common thing from MS since the 360 days and its only really now that Sony are playing that game as well.

Look i hate timed exclusives as i think its half measure and i don't like half measures, either make KOTOR a PS5 exclusive fully or release the Xbox version the same day. Are Sony playing dirty? Sure but guess what so are MS and Spencer with his vague wording, lies and hypocrisy, end of the day though its business and they only care about things what benefit them and them only, Spencer will lie and mislead to make MS "look better" and Sony will go hard on timed games to get more people buying PS5's. Bad as each over and both most likely laugh at the kids doing console wars and being blind puppets, sure i will defend, praise and criticize both but i'm not blind to what Sony and MS are really doing.

Good it makes sense that Xbox should get it considering its history with the series. Currently playing the original on Series S and it holds up pretty well though i do hope combat has a big upgrade.

@Hellosmoothskin Explain? Isn't Stalker a timed a Xbox Exclusive along with all the other "launch" exclusives" they announced at E3. I guess its ok when MS do it though like they did with Tomb Raider and Dead Rising 4 last gen.

@Senua Of course Forza looks better its a racing game with a very static open world with not a huge lot going on. Also pot kettle black, Halo Infinite doesn't look all that different then Halo 5. Again you don't use R&C, Demons Souls and Returnal do you and just focus on comparing an apple to an orange. Why does Halo Infinite a more linear game look worse then a big open world racing game? Yeah see how dumb your logic is when used.

@Stocksy I stopped being loyal and worshipping corporations years ago. I got my PS5 because i love PS games, i got my Series S because Gamepass and i actually love Halo, Forza and Gears and i think the future looks great and i got my Switch because i love Nintendo games. Clearly i have the money for all 3 while many don't but just because you can only afford one doesn't mean you need to defend and worship them like gods when they only care for your wallet.

This is why i pretty much only bother with 1st party stuff on Gamepass.

@Hellosmoothskin Spider-Man PS4 was selling PS4's by itself, like it or not Spider-Man and Wolverine are huge reasons to get a PS5 especially the casual folk who only play a small handful of games. End of the day the PS5 is selling far more then Series S/X and Sony dropping those two reveals is just going to add more sales.

Also its fun seeing the hypocrisy from Xbox fanboys because when it was rumoured MS were interested in buying WB Games you were all hyping the idea of Batman being 1st party.

For those saying no look at the sales for the two Spider-Man games, they were huge and MM is still selling well now. Spider-Man and Wolverine are bigger then whatever MS has lined up so MS should be trying their best to nap an exclusive game from Marvel or DC.

@pip_muzz Yeah its a game with a great attention to detail and you can tell the Devs loved the films and the stuff what inspired the films. It will never happen but i would love a ground up remake, you can tell the PS2/Xbox was limiting what could be done like the Burly Brawl so i would love the chance to play the game where there is no limits.

Enter The Matrix being honest is pretty trash, we accepted it back then as its all we had but it was never good. Path of Neo though was fantastic and i really wish it was on One/Series.

D2 is my favourite, had around 5 playthroughs of that back to back once NG+ was added. Fantastic series and its why i have Deathloop pre-ordered and paid for as i just trust the Devs to make a fine game.

@mousieone I said i have both because i didn't want to be accused of being a fanboy to one console. I did give my thoughts and i said i'm happy both PS and Xbox has a good future.
